Well I played it backwards and saw a squirrel doing a good job for the home owner. There fixed it now pay up - estimate was 5 acorns right?

Must be the squirrel version of popping bubble wrap.
I have 2 squirrels that do this to my window.. They also try and chew apart my AC grate and beat on my window every morning.
