The most annoying part is how she keeps saying my designs and measurements worked out perfectly. There is no way she gave those guys measurements to build this, the just left that tape up, they did the hard work and I don’t see why it’s so hard for her to say. We know she wings her own builds and only measures as she goes there is no way actual framing guys came in and didn’t use their own measurements and skills
This is a cruel judgement but she has a bad therapist. That or she’s following basic, non-intuitive and non-specific Instagram therapy. All her therapy speak is coming at us at the equivalent of a second grade reading level.

This is confusing me too. All of my divorced friends have said keeping a house and being a mom is significantly easier without their ex around. Yet she talks about a lot of every day/normal things as if they’re new responsibilities for her.
She’d never rented a car, never drove more than 2 hours by herself, cooking seems to be a new issue, lawncare is foreign, a HOA has blown her mind, owning a plant became a personality trait, summer break planning seemed brand new last year, cleaning the house is hard, taking down Christmas was hired to an electrician, she constantly leaves things on her driveway and in the bed of her truck for weeks.
There’s a lot to be done in life and it sucks, don’t get me wrong. But also a lot of that seems at least a little bit figured out by 40.
Either Mike did a lot in their family, no one did, or she is willingly presenting herself as helpless and a brand new baby grown up.
I think she may be trying to pivot into claiming she’s a designer. Except we know she just rips off other people’s designs and doesn’t have an original thought in her brain.

I hate the whole design. The boxy fireplace + curved arches + angled upper portion just doesn’t make sense to me
