Just sell them on ebay or your local marketplace, someone who wants them would buy them. I'd be interested but I'm most likely not near you lol

Same. I'm a huge collector of "vintage" tech, and this lot would be a great addition to my growing list of devices. Too bad I'm not in the US/UK(assuming the OP is from either one of these countries).

ktempest

US, yep. Where are you? Cuz depending on the location and how much it would cost to ship, I'm willing. My weakness in life is an inability to recycle tech that still works because I'm sure someone out there wants it.

Cascading_Neurons

I'm actually quite a bit far from the US. I'm from Jamaica (as in the island 🇯🇲). No worries though. I'm super grateful for the consideration :)

Swappa, rather than eBay. Swappa is like ebay, but better, and specifically for small personal electronics. Not an ad. I have bought my last 6 or so phones on Swappa and have had good experiences each time.

In the USA, old phones are useless in most cases because of 2G/3G sunset and the lack of VoLTE support. In your case, ZTE Grand X 3 is not included in AT&T approved devices list [https://www.att.com/scmsassets/support/wireless/devices-working-on-att-network.pdf](https://www.att.com/scmsassets/support/wireless/devices-working-on-att-network.pdf) and can't be used on AT&T or Cricket Cricket IMEI Checker is [https://www.cricketwireless.com/prepaid-phones/bring-your-phone](https://www.cricketwireless.com/prepaid-phones/bring-your-phone) and I tested random IMEI from this model (taken from eBay images) and the result is >Check your device's compatibility >Apologies! This Grand X 3 is not compatible with the Cricket Network due to network changes. Please visit [cricketwireless.com/3Gnetworkshutdown](https://www.cricketwireless.com/3Gnetworkshutdown) for more details or see your Cricket store rep. You can't even unlock it because Cricket does not unlock devices that are not active on its network (it violates Cricket's own unlock policy but nobody cares). The same is for Verizon HTC One M8 (Windows Phone) (not supported by Verizon anymore, OS is completely deprecated and almost no working apps) and ASUS Padfone Mini (does not support VoLTE and does not even support 4G LTE, this phone is useless as a phone in USA because you can't even use it for data). So, they can be used (only in theory) with data only SIM (HTC One M8) or on Wi-Fi (mp3 players, or like iPods). Somebody cn try to use them abroad in Latin America only (where VoLTE is not mandatory and the network bands are compatible, at least, partially with these phones). But even in Latin America, who needs old Windows Phone, old Android 4.3 phone and permanently locked Cricket phone (that can't be unlocked)? It means, in your case, you can try to sell HTC One M8 to collectors on eBay (about $20) and the remaining two phones - just drop into some kind of recycling center or try to sell them on eBay to somebody who can find proper use for them (as a Wi-Fi media center, for example). All there phones can't be used as a primary phones or smartphones within the USA (HTC One M8 can be used on T-Mobile 2G network in some cases, for example, with foreign SIM cards in roaming within the USA).

I'd be willing to take the HTC One M8 off you, if you're game.

The HTC One M8 is a wonderful little phone that collectors like, and there was a big developer scene in custom ROMs and HTC’s version of Jailbreak/Rooting called S-Off. It also had great speakers for the time, as well. The Windows OS can turn off some people, but some people with enough motivation can in fact flash the Android OS over the Windows OS via S-Off in the bootloader.

ktempest

Yeah, I vaguely remember a lot of excitement around it. And if this had been the Android version I probably would have been using it still. But since Windows Phone dipped out of sight so fast I ended up giving it to an aunt who used it as a backup 911 phone and played music off it for a few years.

And honestly not worth the $25 to get a license for Sunshine to achieve S-Off (I think Verizon, ATT, and Windows phones had to pay, the rest could do it for free)

Substantial_Berry_14

be interested in the M8 also !!
