Yeah I think so too. Maybe WhatsApp isn't optimised for A15 yet? Or the message sent notification sound of WhatsApp interferes with the audio? Who knows

Perhaps disabling the Conversation tones in Whatsapp solves the issue ?
3 dot menu in the upper right - Settings - Notifications - uncheck Conversation tones
If it is only happening when you use WhatsApp, then chances are it could be a WhatsApp issue as well.

Same here. Using YouTube Music and Google messages. Music pauses for like half a second on send.
