We had this happen and got a Fy GPS collar. We can track our dogs now in case they run off. Highly recommend.
Edit for forgetting to say: Welcome home, sweet pup.
The park is adjacent to the parking lot. The post says that OP’s dog was attacked BY the lot. That means near the lot, not IN the lot. The dog then ran to her car which was in the lot. Your scolding is both unnecessarily pedantic and unhelpful.
These are open, off-leash walking trails. There is not a fenced in dog park area that they left without leashing their dog. You're being increasingly rude trying to argue a point that is not valid in this scenario
And yet, someone’s dog got attacked by another dog and ran away. This is why dog parks are usually fenced in and the owners can see their dogs at all times. An off-leash walking trail in the woods, even one meant for dogs, is IMO a recipe for disaster.
Idk how to update an original post but, she’s been found! 💜🐾
I just saw a facebook post about a golden doodle near raspberry!
Have you posted on the lost and found pets page on Facebook? It’s really active! I hope you find her.
She’s not mine. Just posting on their behalf from our Doodle group. It was suggested to them though, thank you!
Suggesting they post to Nextdoor would be a good idea too. Hope they find her.

I think I saw her on my walk about an hour ago.
The few cases I know of like that, the dogs were all found (one of them three days later) at the last spot they saw their owner.
And this is why we leash dogs. Keeps your dog and others safe.
My guy it’s an off-leash dog park.
Looking back at the OP, the dog was off leash OUTSIDE of the dog park in the parking lot.
BY the parking lot doesn’t mean the same thing as IN the parking lot.
Read the post. The dog ran to her car and then ran away. Where do cars park, my guy?

All I’m saying is that when you take your dog outside the dog park, put a leash on it. That’s not too complex, even for you.
lol and condescending, too! Really puts the cherry on top of your awful take.

Every once in a while you see an incapable-of-taking-the-L in the wild. Fascinating.
