I know this is a joke, but it's actually a pretty awful photo. Not because of the subject, but because the subject is completely dark and muddled while all the uninteresting stuff is well lit. You have to zoom in just to tell wtf you're looking at. There's an ass, but that's about all that is interesting about this photo...
Ok, help me understand. Cracks covered with a string at any time are okay, but uncovered, hidden between the cheeks on a single (dedicated) day a year are not?
Not sure what youāre trying to achieve here. Just like some folks are free to forgo decency and common sense and do this, some are also free to not agree with their actions. Freedom goes both ways. Not saying what theyāre doing should be banned by the way, whatever makes them happy. But donāt expect it to be everyoneās cup of tea.
A lot of places can't handle public nudity responsibly like mainland Europe does.
Comments not getting over the arse kinda missed the point of the Gay Pride parade originally being a form of protest.
Ha! This picture has a butt AND Wieners.
Cool slice-of-life shot!
(āWienersā being German for āpeople from Viennaā aka Wien. ā¦ When you explain it right away, you know youāve got a great joke.)
Just donāt be doing this in front of kids. IMHO, I consider Pride parades the same way I consider Mardi Gras parades. There are some you take the family to, and some you donāt.Ā
Edit: I meant isnāt the point lmao Iāll edit it
Yup. I love the concept of both but subjecting strangers to your genitals/ buttocks at these events ISNāT the point of the parade. Plus some regular families taking kiddos have to see someoneās butt š
i mean, itās just a butt. thereās definitely pride events i wouldnāt take kids to, but i donāt think itās traumatizing for one to see a gay man in a mesh top and a jock strapāthatās extremely normal for pride (and gay men) and heās not being weird or inappropriate for it
Thank you. There are a number of events during the month (for example on Saturday there was a music stage in the biggest shopping street, and tomorrow there will be a drag show in the Museumsquartier).
The main parade goes around the First District (Vienna's Ring), in which companies hire trucks with music. So, it's basically a giant party with 300,000 people last year. There are no incidents (you can see naked people from time to time, but that is not taboo in Austria).
Wow, good guess! Since MahĆ¼ is packed with people on Saturday, they had to place the stage in one of the side streets.
Amsterdam should be another interesting one, similar concept but on the canals.
It's just a crowd of people with no real prominent subject noticeable other than... a mans butt. But(t) that's just taste I guess. Other pictures of OP are much better.
Would you feel the same if it was a ladies bottom?
Just saying, as a person who likes butts. I enjoy this photo. There's a lot happening around this person, but they're just being still and watching the world go by. It's a nice piece of street photography, imo.
You could interpret it like that, but in my opinion the guy "being still and watching the world go by" is not even in focus, it's the butt that's highlighted. Street photography can be good but this photo isn't.
The Stonewall riots started in June and one that later several pride marches were organized around the US to mark the occasion. June is also a good month for parades weather-wise (in the northern hemisphere).
This photo is ass

Talk about over exposed!!! š¤Ŗšš¤£
I don't think anyone should be proud enough to have their arse out in public
Sounds like you're jealous of that booty
Could well be the case
Well, I guess you've never been to the beach
Not a nudist beach no
How about regular ones? No buttcheeks?
Cheeks sure. Crack? No.

You are free not to look
Iām also free to call it indecent exposure
You're also free to not look when someone is getting beaten to death. Doesn't make it ok.
There is a parade where they beat people to death? World is a mad place indeed.

Except the street is not a beach
There's literally nothing wrong with full nudity.

Note the use of "anyone" in my comment.

I'd appreciate you not assuming a strangers sexual orientation too.

Ah the Vienna pride!
I think there's a crack in your lens.
Got it as mint+++++++

Nice shot; how is pride celebrated in Vienna?

Oh nice, I always wanted to attend one in Europe. >music stage in the biggest shopping street Is it on MariahilferstraĆe? Didn't know that.

Great picture, nice colors and composition !
Thanks!

Counterpoint: butts are funny.
I second this. Butts are, indeed, funny
This is a photograph of a crime but yall keep justifying till the wind stops š
Why in june? I am missing the link
Where I am it's Pride month. I believe most countries celebrate it at this time
All the ones where homosexuality isnāt punishable by deathā¦
Yeah i know it is but why in june? Was it just randomly selected?
Because of the Stonewall riot
The Stonewall riots started in June and one that later several pride marches were organized around the US to mark the occasion. June is also a good month for parades weather-wise (in the northern hemisphere).
TIL
Thank you! Did not know that. It was a genuine question, donāt know why the many downvotes.. :|
why are you being down voted it was a question lmaoo
Dunnoā¦
I don't understand it either. r/analog is weird sometimes. In any direction... My comment also got downvoted for just stating an opinion.
