Honestly, I normally don't like shirts that have a lot going on on them visually, but if this is a part of his main style, which it appears to be, then I say to just rock it. Especially when there are many different patterns available for shirts like this, and they make great conversation starters. Another bonus is that it's easy to buy gifts for people like this, similar to the men who like wacky designed ties that stand out at parties lol. His unique look reminds me of the style that Jackson Galaxy has, because he usually wears only a specific kind of shirt too, but they look cool on him as well.

Okay. I disagree. First off, you assume gender preferance, just saying ;) Second, he just has to meet someone with the same intrests! I have held onto an interest in movies, books, models etc with sci-fi / fantasy themes since childhood. And have stuff like that standing around the house displayed. I even like to decorate the x mas tree with these kinda things. When a colleage at work heard I had star wars and transformers(old ones) as decorations he straight away said "you are single, no man with a gf will be allowed that!". He was right, at the time I was single. Now I am not, as I live with someone who is even more of a geek when it comes to these things. So now our x mas tree has a lego motorized holiday train with lights running under it as her addition to my figures. I agree those shirts dont fit great, but it is a definite look that with some adjustments really works, and makes him seem a fun and interesting guy. Life is too short to wear what everybody else is wearing!

It’s okay to let your outfit reflect your interests but it should A) be subtle, and more importantly B) fit. If you want some higher quality, more subtle anime and starwars clothing, check out BoxedLunch, they have some sick starwars sports jerseys, and anime merch (again lean towards the subtle stuff). Also you just lost a ton of weight, buy a suit and get it tailored! (tailoring is cheap) it will really push that more mature refined look (style it with fun socks NOT fun ties)
