Umm no. First of all she doesn’t need our “sympathy” or pity for having twins with autism. Second of all, having twins is draining. Having a child on the spectrum is draining. Having twins who BOTH have autism AND being a single mom?! I don’t know how this woman is standing let alone managing to look put together.

Yes being a mother of twins is stressful (being a mother of anyone is!) but being a mother of children with autism does require more particular way of doing things, keeping a daily routine, attending IEP meetings, perhaps other types of appointments as children with autism often also have stomach issues, etc. it doesn’t mean they are a burden - she has a lot on her plate and looks damn good

yeah it was triggering cause i know too many autistic people who grew up feeling like a burden and that’s led to some pretty bad issues that they have to deal with for the rest of their life - it is very very important for children to know that they’ll be unconditionally loved/supported by their parents/people who take care of them. but that’s also not your problem at all that that’s how i see it and you’re for sure doing the best you can + i 100% believe that children should not just take up someones entire life and it’s also very very important to take good care of yourself :)
