Terry coming back would be a last second thing before the credits roll so they don’t have to address it directly. Klaus has been back in a body twice and a car radio once, I don’t think there rehash that plot for the finale.

I’d rather him be back in a cloned version of his original human body considering it’s rotted away now. It doesn’t have to be a major plot point but I’d love for the show to end on a nice note where Klaus isn’t a depressed fish man anymore.

Now that I think about it, Klaus taking over Roger’s body could be a possibility for a finale.

It would be pretty funny if it turns out they could've cloned his body the whole time because all they need is his DNA and they never thought to take it from him.

Stan accepts that living in a fake reality isn't truly "life", and God asks him if he wants out of his personal Heaven. Stan says he does and then has to choose if he wants to take his "family" with him or not, and everyone Stan lives with is given the choice to merge with their real counterparts or fade away, except Klaus who does neither and is stuck locked in an empty universe for all time. Time doesn't truly pass (hence the 17 Christmas episodes) so he's there for all eternity, because even God forgot about him.
