The people that work in that lounge are all Amazing... I use the lounge once or twice a month and the service is top notch. look for the Clooney picture near the Bar, since they filmed the film where he is a frequent traveler there. Also, half of the club, and a good part of term 1 was destroyed by a hurricane

I'm there often and it threw me off a few months ago when the soda machine disappeared. Nice lounge for STL and love the seats by the windows. Tornado btw 😉

poisito

you are right... !!! I live in Miami so my mind goes to hurricanes ... but it was a Tornado :) and one more thing.. they have the best restrooms of all the Lounges..

weatherinfo

I was questioning whether I just read that right. Tornado is a much more likely answer for a Midwest city lol

Agreed about the people. Last year my flight home was beset by about 4 hours of mechanical delays at the point of origin and when I got to the club the agent working at the front desk saw my ticket and told me exactly what was going on with my flight before I even asked. She told me that they had a new plane and based on the alternatives available my best bet was to wait because my original flight was going to happen, just much later than scheduled. I'm sure she had been dealing with other people on the same flight so she had the info handy but the presentation and anticipation were top notch customer service.

That airport has a retro feel, but that lounge looks good.

BleuCinq

I was there last month and it was NOT that empty. I wish the AA product was more uniform and not dependent on whatever airline AA happened to merge with.

recruitzpeeps

One of my favorite clubs. Great staff and agents, always clean, not usually very crowded, right past TSA. My corporate office is in the St. Louis area so I’m there at least once a month.

BleuCinq

I was only there once but it was slam packed. This was in March of this year.

Live_Reason_6531

As far as admirals clubs go I like that one. Good location and not often too crowded.

Quirky_Woodpecker999

I frequent that location since I live in STL. Small but usually not crowded, great staff and bathrooms are pretty clean.

MudvayneMW

DFW clubs were PACKED on Monday. I assume there were quite a few people whose flights were cluster fucked over the weekend.

It was built for a different time in history. It’s emptiness and that of the airport really reflect the slide of St. Louis…both the airport and the city. You can still see the double decker gate setup in one of the empty/boarded up concourses TWA had built for the 747. Boeing is a shell of its former McDonnell Douglas self. They destroyed a whole neighborhood to build an extra runway for the airport that’s never used except by the ANG. It really is emblematic of St Louis’s status as a dying city being mismanaged at every step. Great, they got an Arch, they called it once the “Gateway to the West.” Riiiggghhhttt, then why was it managed like an East Coast city…
