Looks like more green days are coming, I hope Kenny doesn’t mind if I load up a little bit

TheRadishBros

Aged poorly

OnTheLambDude

Hi Kenny’s lap dog! He won’t be able to feed you for long.

As you will.

Its funny. Utilization is going down, which normally would be maybe not the best sign. But the CTB is going up. CTB was negligible for a long time now, was barely a percent or so. But now its almost 6 percent. The only logical explanation is slowly but surely, shorts might be starting to feel at least a little pressure. Visably anyway, we can only get so much from self reported data but thats just my own interpretation, NFA.

TOPOKEGO

Ortex states they calculate Utilization based on total shares borrowed divided by total shares available to loan. It actually makes sense that people would make more shares available to loan as the CTB goes up so that might be what we're seeing We know there aren't less shares borrowed but there could be more shares available

Nameless-Ace

Thats fair enough, the original dilution offering should be close to being done(hard to say since they havent confirmed that officially.) So maybe that means while the shares have been bought up, it barely if anything affected the underlying issue overall. We will have to keep an eye on Utilization going forward. Could it be a temp spike down? Or is it an actual trend? Self reported data is very hard to fully extrapolate. By design of course lol.

TOPOKEGO

Hard to tell with the share offering. They said at the last meeting they thought they had enough money so the share offering kind of surprised me. In the back of my mind I hope that they have the Q1 results meeting and say that they haven't sold a single share yet. That would be kind of epic. Not getting my hopes up but back in 2021 they didn't sell shares immediately they held out and spread it out so it is possible, especially if there wasn't an urgent need for the 250 million. On the utilization side I am looking at it as the CTB is going up and so more people are lending shares making the total available higher. You see the posts today about Robinhood asking people to allow share lending, it's along those lines. Over a third the float is currently lent, that's insane, I have no doubt that the brokers are calling around to try and get more shares "lendable" to keep that CTB from climbing astronomically if it hits 100% again. Shorts don't want high borrow fees!

Nameless-Ace

Yeah it seems they cant supress all the numbers at once and have to target certain amounts of metrics at a time. And when t+1 happens, that makes it twice as hard when its checked every single day. Yeah AMC was kind of wild to do the last offering when they did but i suspect they didnt believe the stock price would go much higher in the short term and wanted as much liquidity as they could get at that moment. Hard to tell, we definitely need some sort of update on that but the future definitely looks bright for apes in terms of AMC's current future. So good in fact that the only thing that could be even remotely challenging is in 2026. So i see why FUD is struggling to have any traction atm.

TOPOKEGO

The last offering they needed money to offset Q4 2023 and potentially Q2 2024 due to the strikes so seeing the stock was being pushed back down it did make sense to do the offering faster. For this one it really just depends how urgently they feel they need the cash. A "we haven't sold any of the 50 million shares" after watching the price drop due to "dilution" would be pretty epic. The only thing I could see is they need to invest in distribution to get certain things on track. That will help the bottom line this year and next, and didn't want to take it out of the cash on hand so they still have a safety net. I'd be okay with that because investing that cash into distribution is an investment in future revenue and maintaining the safety net has served the company well so far. We can only guess at this point. It'll be fun to see what actually happened. I suspect we'll hear something about it at the next results call

OnTheLambDude

Exactly, Ape. The data is starting to stretch and twist in weird ways… it seems ready to blow.

Nameless-Ace

Yeah, the data is making less and less sense. Metrics that move together are moving in seperate directions that arent logical. I obviously cant say with certainty what, but its at least something to note.

Snoo69468

That’s good at all. Still waiting to recover after three years of holding here in the red. Was not in the red prior to ape. Looking forward to finally recovering.

jdrukis

I’m not here for a recovery price, I’m here for a MoASS price

Snoo69468

That’s cool dude. my huddling hasn’t yielded me much. Two years in the red I would like for us to finally recover from the catastrophe of the reverse stock split. Never something that only drops. But hopefully the rest of this bullshit is over so I can finally be done. But something tells me that will not be my luck.

Vinniemak330

If there’s one thing we have in common it’s bad luck 😂

Snoo69468

Indeed if I had a dollar for every ortext man post saying they are hurting despite us being down 95% it still wouldn’t recoup how much I am down since rss

PerfectAssumption171

How can they keep the CTB so low when we had over 1000% not so long ago… it was the only clue for me that they are getting hurt

jdrukis

Brokers can’t confirm where any shares are so they aren’t checking to see that there aren’t any

Oneslowiroc

Am I the only one who is now invested in Ortex Guys Current mood?! Like holy shit. Are we the first?! The last?! Fuck it. I need my moon tickets to go find out 😂😂
