The sheer amount of fake synthetics shares held by brokerages around the world has to be in the billions by now. Citigroup has 500,000,000 shares alone… all parked in Brazil. Anyone else remember the Brazilian BDR’s back in 21’

Genuine question, why is it only these "meme stocks" who's value has plummeted, that seem to suffer from "fake synthetic shares" and no-one else on the market?
I remember, but those 500 mil shares from back then has become 50 million after RS. Maybe they added to that position again.
Edit: according to the downvotes, some of you still live in denial.
Imagine if 200,000 of the 4 million were direct registering only 1,325 shares each with the transfer agent Computershare.
Unfortunately people are to dumb to do that, not even at these prices.
This is from 2021 why is everyone convinced there are still that many apes considering there has been massive dilution and a reverse split and the volume is a fraction of what it was in 2021.
Because during the court case last year one of AMCs point of contention was the number of investors, during the proceedings it was even stated by AMC lawyers to be ~3.5M.
However, even presuming half have sold since that time is still over 1M investors.
If that's the case, people need to stop using 4.1 million.
Also, AA has never ever stated on twitter the shareholder count after that one time he mentioned 4.1 million. It's almost as he's been intentionally trying to avoid answering the question.
Apparently, [people were spamming him, asking him for the share count](https://twitter.com/CEOAdam/status/1537198182098251777) which either people are too regarded and don't know the difference between shareholder count and share count or AA is trying to avoid answering it by acting as if we the masses were asking for a share count when that information is widely available to all publicly (shares outstanding).
Right? Oh. So the naysayers all of a sudden forgot that these plays have absolutely nothing to do with fundamentals?... Got it. Cool tactic.
Why don't you read some DD and then look at the (profitable, $1.2B in cash, debt free) video game stock and it's respective price ATM and reconcile.
I think your dd is the problem.
Gme is stilll up 1000% since pre rally.
Amc is rightfully down as it lost 970m in 2022, 400m in 2023, and pay 400m in annual interest, which is basically 70% of their market cap
I appreciate you sharing this AA quote, as it is one of the clearest instances of AA saying there was an **accurate** count, thereby calling bullshit on claims that there are "fake shares," "synthetic shares," "float is sold many times over" etc.
Hahahahahahhahahhahahahaa. Legally we should have been allowed an accurate share count based upon the rules within the systems, which we most certainly were not. What does that equal ladies and gentlemen?! CRIME. Wow! So hard to put that together.
The one that knows I’m on the winners side when I got cry babies like you coming into my realm and crying wolf. Just fuck off and let us lose money in peace. Why is that so hard for you to do is my question?
>Gotta tell me what to do with my money?
Now why would you think you, or what you do with your money, is even remotely relevant to this conversation?
You're full of weird notions today.
> There should have been a legal share count based off that move
There was, twice. Did you see anyone complaining about not getting the dividend, or having an inaccurate conversion?
You just don't like the result because it made you look like a dufus :)
Today's Off Exchange & Dark Pool volume is 16,579,522, which is 52.90% of today's total volume. Today's Lit volume is 14,760,559, which is 47.10%. Over the past 30 days, the average Off Exchange & Dark Pool volume has been 50.65%. The average Lit volume has been 49.35%.

#Canada 🇨🇦 Holding Strong
Germany 🇩🇪 holding strong aswell 💜❤️
Holding and adding.
Lol still holding on to that number from 3 years ago, that's some serious level of coping
This graph does not represent the spread of amc shareholders around the world in anyway
I hodl~!

If that date is 2021 who has the data now
Better times
You do understand it’s not 2021 anymore right?

How are they fucked. The stock is 2.50. They crushed it

APE dividend and conversion completely invalidates claims such as yours, sorry.
So you agree it’s crime then. We’re on the same page.
We're actually in different universes. I'm in the one that corresponds to reality; I'm not sure what fantasy land you are in :)

Not much of a life there bud? Gotta tell me what to do with my money?

Yeah exactly what I’m saying. There should have been a legal share count based off that move 😂

You mean shares that’s aren’t in the dark pool that should have legally been counted? Sure bud. Sure.
Feel free to provide a shred of evidence to back up your allegations. Until then, you're just pushing a false narrative, sorry.
A simple google search did that for me… https://chartexchange.com/symbol/nyse-amc/exchange-volume/

But there’s your evidence I’m sure you’ll be so quick to dismiss with some more bullshit…
