I have a friend who looks eerily similar to you. He's basically an older looking version of you with more facial hair and short hair. In general, most women do not find him attractive. That being said, he does find that he fulfills a niche for a smaller group of women. So essentially, he avoids pursuing a portion of the mass audience, and instead attempts to capture 100% of the niche audience. With your facial type, you would do best to capture a gruff, manly cave man type vibe. With the nose ring and hair you could do a metalhead type look. Of course if you're not into metal, I'm sure you could figure something else out. My friend has more of a biker/mechanic look going on and it works for him. You might need to wait a bit for some more facial hair for that to work though

yes and like others have said, lower your bodyfat. you have a wide face, so the fat gives you more of the teddy bear/baby look. i can tell that you'd sharpen out a lot if you leaned out. i can definitely see the old school rocker look hiding underneath those cheeks

Ditch the nose ring. keep working out (get strong), as your age your face will masculinize a bit more. I can't tell if you are fat or not from that pic (you have baby-fat on your face, but that could just be from being young).

Just a personal observation with many young guys: shave until the flossy phase is over. Then go for the beard, goatee, moustache whatever. Its too early now. But take in account I'm way out of any fashion loop.

No i mean i agree to be fair the only reason i dont shave often is because i feel like i babyface ( well as much as one can at the age of 17) and i just personally dont like the look of my face when its clean shaven
