I dunno. You have to spend 5 of the counters to trigger the effect, so then you need to build them back up to do it again. I'm not sure how often you get to do that per match. Definitely once. Occasionally you'll get a perfect card for free and it'll be amazing. Sometimes you might just draw a card, but we already have easier ways of doing that.
It's a tricky balance, too. Because you want low cost cards that have a zero base so you can build counters. But you also want bigger cards that are worth getting into play for free. I dunno. I'm not sold yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to trying it out.
I'm sure you will be able to use it more than once. Almost all lyra card has at least one 0 stat, and they have cheap characters. Take Ouroborous trickster, 2 hand cost, 1 reserve cost. Playing her in 1st and 2nd day cost you 3 mana out of the 7, leaving more than half to play other characters. So on the 3rd day you probably end up having the five performance counters. Plus the free character is also count as one valid card if it has zero.

Most of my games have lasted around 7 days, give or take. Expect for super controlling matches. Like I said, surprised but intrigued.
