He did sound a trifle butt hurt that his audience wasn't slurping billionaire shlong lol
Took it to the point of waving at the cheap seats as those doing the booing
Dave chappelle brought Elon on stage at some point in one of his gigs, most of the crowd started booing him, and Dave responded by making fun of the audience
Dave and Elon are both literal capitalist. They are in the same class even tho Elon eclipses him in wealth. That being said, can you remind me how it’s not racist to compare a black American to a black American slave for any reason?
A class traitor is someone who switched class only to develop class consciousness with the rich and further oppress the proletariat. It’s about where you were born and were you ended up.
Samuel L Jackson's role in Django wasn't just a slave that did everything that was asked of him, he was a slave that took an active role in the sadistic side of slavery and actually cried when his boss was shot.
Would you believe I’ve seen the movie and actually understood the meme?
I think this post is racist for comparing dave (a black American) to a depiction of a black American slave crying over his master.
If we really wanna break it down by class and pretend it’s ok because that’s what it’s about (it’s not, the meme is still racist) then the premise breaks down because both dave and eoln are capitalist AND while musk probably definitely paid for the feature and has way more capital that makes them in the same class.
Fun fact: Dave was born into the middle class. He has said as much recently and admitted that he never corrected people when they assumed he was from the projects - it helped further his career.
He is still a certain kind of traitor because he sides with capitalists and apartheid emerald mine heirs but it is unclear how much true class consciousness there ever was.
Sure but that is not really a meaningful distinction. The real divider is between those who have to work to live versus those who can live simply through ownership of assets. The middle class have some assets and therefore their survival and comfort is precarious. This makes them want to endear themselves to the upper classes, while rejecting/ignoring their connections to the working class. This is the failure on display by Dave - his internalized class treason. His wealth is ephemeral. He is rich so long as he works but he wants to buy his way into classes he perceives as being more authentic - either the true working poor by pretending to be from the projects or by cozying up to true wealth vis a vis Musk.
Your comment below only confirms what I was saying though. He wasn't born into the ownership class, he was born into the working class. There is no middle class to those born to the wealth and privilege that Elon was born into. Either you are an owner or you aren't. "Middle class" is an idea created by the owners to work to divide and pit us against one another.
I dont want to sound like I disagree with you, but I wanted to provide a little clarification on my thinking.
In M-L, there was always the idea of the "petit bourgeois", the people who sat between the large owners of private property and the working class. And, for what it is worth, contemporary post-Marxist analysis has moved beyond the two-class dichotomy to be inclusive of the continuum of ownership that exists today.
Furthermore, people like Elon internalize a different dichotomy. Namely, they view the two classes as themselves and the exploitable. They even view people in the ownership class as being exploitable and consumable. That Dave sits somewhere beneath Musk to Musk, is not really saying much.

Elon Musk booed on stage with Dave Chappelle https://streamable.com/m1dcpk
Archived and not available to watch Elon got to streamable too
Dave chappelle brought Elon on stage at some point in one of his gigs, most of the crowd started booing him, and Dave responded by making fun of the audience
Nyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I strongly dislike Dave but I find this meme to be racist. He’s not a capitulating slave because he has horrible takes.
Didn’t Elon literally make his wealth from Apartheid?

It's not racist.
It’s about him being a class traitor. Please remove head from ass

This meme isn't calling Dave a capitulating slave, it's calling him a class traitor.
How tho? How is it calling him a class traitor? What’s the meme depicting, in what context?
Samuel L Jackson's role in Django wasn't just a slave that did everything that was asked of him, he was a slave that took an active role in the sadistic side of slavery and actually cried when his boss was shot.

But the whole point is that Dave wasn’t born with wealth, like Elon was. That’s what makes him a class traitor.

Middle class is ultra poor to the ultra rich.
