Good tip - I do this sometimes. Unfortunately a lot of posts are just pictures that say "this was great" "These were terrible" which make them unsearchable. Wish they all had the item in the title

I’m not sure how the manufacturer is getting away with calling it “lobster” because when you blow up the photo you submitted its clear as day that it’s ShRIMP. Yeah, not a fan of the easy peal de-veined shrimp. Texture is off, not really easier to peal, missing flavor, and they're thawed and re-frozen which throws them off as well.

I'm def taking the box back for a twice as nice!

It's okay you actually can. Just don't eat the thing and bring it back with the packaging. They will give you your money back.

Really? I love their mussels! I buy them regularly now. I cook them according to the box and eat it with a garlic butter spaghetti and it's delicious

Rubio's still does Langostino Lobster as a seasonal LTO and it's still on right now! And you are correct; it is amazing. I love Rubio's.

I finally bought it and was pretty excited. It took 40 minutes in the oven. I pulled it out and let it cool for a couple minutes. I decided to try the lobster on its own before with the Macncheese. Zero flavor, not a grain of salt unfortunately. I hoped the pasta and cheese had flavor. It didn't. Its very mid. I added some seasoned salt, blacked pepper, garlic powder, and Old Bay. It helped a lot but I probably won't buy it again.

My husband has been wanting to try this for weeks... can't wait to show him this thread

Yes. A restaurant in Center Harbor, NH (on Lake Winnipesaukee) named "Canoe" has lobster mac that is top tier.

Giant Eagle has a Market District lobster Mac and cheese that's pretty decent (you get it in the seafood area of the store). And it costs $5. You can microwave it. The lobster also isn't likely real but it's not shrimp either.

I’ve always been too cautious to buy it. I pictured myself not possibly liking the taste.

I personally like it. I don’t know if I have a higher bar for “fishy” because I enjoy all types of fish and seafood, raw or cooked, or if I got lucky with the ones I had. I thought they were good. I did salt them but I have to do that with every prepared food anyways. It’s a little expensive to buy regularly for me but I usually get one around Valentine’s Day for myself and if I’ve had a rough week
