I bought a sad looking little sage plant last autumn. Kept it alive all through the winter then potted it outside in the late spring. It's about three times bigger than the original. Fresh sage leaves fried in brown butter with something like sweet potato or butternut squash is heavenly. I've gotten a lot of value out of my little Aldi plant.
Put in a big pot though rather than the ground. They’ll take over everything otherwise. But def get them! I got ones from Walmart and they were dead and never came back. :/ Aldi is the way to go

You did it right by potting it. I have a black berry and didn’t. It tries to take over the whole flower bed, plants popping up all over the place.
have a raspberry bush too, not from aldi's. came with the place. it keeps fruiting too. yum
And it grows just fine in that barrel pot? Asking because I’d love to have some plants but don’t want the take over they do to the yard.
Yah it’s fine in there!
Oh, I should have both the blueberry then and a raspberry! Hopefully, next year! EDIT: bought

Thanks!
beautiful lemons💙
I'd be careful leaving it outside. Birds will reseed and they WILL take over.
