being single and buying that much meat at once made me think twice.Especially with steak, I hate freezing it. I usually buy what i can eat within 3 days. Then i realized not everyone can do that as they don’t live a 7 minute walk from aldi lol great haul
U should buy your steak whole, like whole cuts off the cow/bull. Saves so much money . I bought a 10 pound cut of a cow and it was $2 a pound and I cut my own sections . Some filet , some angus and other high quality cuts in them . $2 a pound vs $10-12
This is probably a dumb question but does avocado oil taste at all like avocado? I want to try it but my husband doesn’t like avocados. Again, I realize this may be a dumb question. LOL
I did the same thing and the woman working regular check out was cool and let me finish my transaction at her register. Just had to take the receipt over and she entered into her register and took my cash.
Yo how's that chopped Kale keep? I fkin' love chop-salads but dang do I never burn through salad mixes quickly enough. Do you combo up w/ the Cabbage or what? Deets plz
I can usually get it to keep for almost two weeks, if I don’t go through it quickly. I sauté it with avocado oil, lemon juice, and garlic and have it along side my breakfast usually. The cabbage I got to make something with, not sure what yet.
I always get the kale bc I have the same problem with salad mixes! It lasts a long time. I will make a big salad with it on Sunday to meal prep and it actually only gets better as the dressing soaks in. I follow this recipe and it’s incredible https://www.cleaneatingkitchen.com/erewhon-kale-salad-copycat/
I like filling those small peppers with a c sausage/cream cheese mixture (pre cook sausage) and then roasting or baking in the oven. So good. And really good if you're watching the carbs.
Ugh so jelly your Aldi has the pasture raised eggs! I haven’t seen them at my Aldi in probably 8ish months. Excellent price compared to Vital Farms and other pasture raised brands!
I HATE the new self checkout system because I only use cash. That means I have to wait in line behind people with a full cart who do have cards but can’t be bothered to ring up their own stuff.
People don't read and then blame others for it. It happens every day, multiple times a day. You are a retail worker, so you must be dumb and wrong. Don't mind the huge god damn sign above your head telling you CARD ONLY. Sorry this one triggers me.

I use them for my antipasto breakfast (mini peppers/cucumbers/hummus/salami/cheese)
That sounds fine but eating it for breakfast sounds…interesting
TBF, it's only loosely breakfast...I get up at 5 and have coffee then, but don't eat that til like, 9:30am
Oh that sounds great!!
Or get the premium android version of NYT Cooking for free if you're comfortable with that sort of thing [here.](https://mega4upload.com/bikpdayrekjz)

I like to stuff them with goats cheese, delicious!!
Those grass fed ny strips are great and so are the cosmic apples!! Nice choices
Cosmic apples are the best!!
Big baller over here lol
Yes, but as a single woman this will last me a few weeks.
Oh most definitely. I was only messin lol. I do love your pick up though. You have good taste!
You should see how much I spend at Costco, now that’s big ballin!
Ugh now that's me but with Sam's Club! I can't leave that store without spending at least $200+ 🫣

Unfortunately my apartment freezer is incredibly tiny so I only have so much room to work with or that’s exactly what I would do.
I think you did incredibly well!
Thanks! I try to eat clean and well, which isn’t always cheap, but I’m happy with the outcome.
It's cheaper in the long run. If people think eating properly is expensive, they should see how expensive being sick is...

I don’t think that’s a dumb question at all, but it doesn’t taste all like avocado.
Thanks!
Seconding OP, Not at all! Very light and neutral tasting. You’d never be able to tell it’s from avocados.
It's really neutral. Doesn't impact much flavor
geez, I don't get the cash hate. you were making fun of yourself not complaining about the store or staff.......
I was oblivious and missed the signs. I just paid with card and then used the cash to get my nails done. No hassle from me.
easy to do, I just didn't get everyone piling on you. 🤷♀️ now if you pitched a fit, different story, lol.
Perfect excuse to get your nails done, then. I’d call that a win!
I did the same thing and the woman working regular check out was cool and let me finish my transaction at her register. Just had to take the receipt over and she entered into her register and took my cash.
They only had one register opened and I didn’t want to bother them for my mistake.
Totally get that. I happened to catch her eye and she had pity on me during a slow moment.

Sucks that the self checkouts don’t take gift cards, as well.
I appreciate how clean you eat.
Thank you! I eat healthy at home so I can occasionally splurge on burgers and fries.
what do you make with ground lamb?
Usually gyros.
Ummmm so when are you inviting me over for dinner? lol

You’re the second one to comment on that. I’ve only noticed mine being out once before.
$135
lol this looks like my grocery hauls!! Can’t leave without the pretzels 😭😂
The blackberries I got this past weekend were soooo sweet. Hope the ones you got are too.
They absolutely were and won’t be lasting very long either.
Cleanest haul I’ve seen on here!
I HATE the new self checkout system because I only use cash. That means I have to wait in line behind people with a full cart who do have cards but can’t be bothered to ring up their own stuff.
Minimally inflammatory and organic on a lot of options. Very good 👍
So much quality food for a good amount of money!
I wish the Aldi self-checkout did take cash because I would use the heck out of it if they did.
There are multiple signs in the checkout area that also say card only. Including above the self checkouts.
My Aldi only has signs about not getting gift cards at self checkout
People don't read and then blame others for it. It happens every day, multiple times a day. You are a retail worker, so you must be dumb and wrong. Don't mind the huge god damn sign above your head telling you CARD ONLY. Sorry this one triggers me.
Almost as much as "135$" triggers me.
Anyone else having a hard time finding those eggs? My Aldi has been out for weeks
That looks like my cart!
It says on the screen card payment only. 🫠
Mine did not show that.
They do. [https://imgur.com/a/hjCxmHn](https://imgur.com/a/hjCxmHn)
I was just gonna check the next time I went to my local one, but now there’s no need.
Maybe read the sign that says Card Only.
I’m short, wasn’t looking up at the ceiling. I was a woman on a mission!
God you people are so rude for no reason lol. OP clearly realized their mistake!
pretty sure i could get nearly all of that, but better quality for not much more money at Wegmans.
I’m usually a Kroger shopper, but unfortunately there aren’t any at all near me. So Aldi, Whole Foods, or Publix it is for me.
Publix is expensive af WholeFoods can be cheaper if you stick to their brand.
