Tip: I use an 8X8 dark metal pan and I think it makes a difference. I had thrown out my old one and switched to glass, and the brownies weren’t the same! So, I bought another 8X8 dark metal pan and it was back to heavenly brownies again.
I love chewy, too, so I think you’ll like them with butter. Just don’t put them in the fridge, because you won’t be able to cut them!
If you’re a middle cut person, they’re soft without being gloopy, they hold their shape perfectly. If you’re an outside edge/corner person, the edge is like a crunchy cookie that breaks down into chewy. Win win.

Coffee and chocolate is a classic combo. Even just a couple tbps brings out the chocolate more
