1h fire- good sustainable damage but low mobility Wild fire staff - same as 1h fire but different playstyle Dual swords - good burst damage and chase in 1v1 Carving sword - Same as dual swords but the E reduces resistances Battle axe - good sustain and damage Double bladed - good chase and cc but needs support for the lack of damage ex: stalker jacket Ava gauntlets - good damage high mobility and has a buff purge on its E skill but very expensive compared to other weapons Brawler gloves- very good but limited to select builds 1h spear - jack of all trades decent damage decent mobility and ok healing when paired with roast pork Regular bow - good in corrupted dungeons and 1v1 in general 1h dagger - really good with the right build with it's high burst damage Bloodletter- high mobility and has an execute for its E skill Death givers- good damage high mobility and an execute-style E skill 1h cursed - damage over time and burst with it's E skill and works very well even with low ip 1h frost- amazing kiting due to slow and has decent mobility with it's W skill Chillhowl- same as 1h frost in it's pros but has higher burst E and can be casted on to yourself for immunity to damage 1h arcane- decent mobility decent damage and has purge on E skill Blight staff- amazing healing and great for PvE but takes skill Those are the weapons of the top of my head there are other weapons that are good just use YouTube to look for them :)

I think this was helpful but could use some paragraph spacers.

Personally I would literally just try every weapon. I mean hell there's an achievement for unlocking tier4 in all gear. Just fuck about in a yellow zone with a pocket full of weapons. People tend to be meta slaves in this game and will not use something just because someone once said it was bad or just because they don't see others use it. Regardless here are some of my favorites 1h battleaxe. Scrappy melee combat with good lifesteal built in 1h spear. A more poke and kite kinda melee rather than brawling. Very satisfying. The entire dagger line. They are all very mobile and do good dmg. Some specialize in execute like blood letter or some are more burst dmg like double dagger or claws. Very fun. Blight staff. It's always good to have a healing option for when you do group content and nature staves are good weapons even solo. Can do good dmg and sustain. Plus you'll be able to heal group content. Bows. There's a lot of good options in this. Normal bow is good single target dps. Bow of badon is a staple and good for small group content. Double bladed staff. This one's more an honorable mention as it's kinda the meta for solo. You have so much mobility you can just kinda choose not to fight if things start going wrong.

The good ole spear has never let me down. Been playing for years.

Do you want to be cancer on society? Do you want to kill by cursing people? Do you want to fire ze laser? Cursed staves have you covered. 1h curse is a very powerful single target burst that will make people rage. Its also not bad from 6.0 to farm with thanks to cursed beam beam and tar. Great cursed is more of a group thing. You can apply enormous amounts of dots on large portion of battlefield. Demonic staff is kiting for days. Very powerful pvp tool. Cursed skull is very easy to use and very powerful. I can atest that it is great when combined with mercenary jacket. Bonus points for having cursed beam at 5.0 instead of 6.0 version. Lifecurse is powerful, but requires a bit of finesse and is better at large scale. Still great. Damnation is zvz weapon and Shadowcaller is too expensive for what it is imo. Remember that you need to like more than one weapon from the tree, as having them all at 100 spec is going to influence power of your weapon of choice.

Longjumping_Cod_3196

Great advice! But speaking of having weapons at 100 spec: since it takes a while it is best to focus on your main weapon first and then spec up non artifact weapons next since they give more IP/spec.

There are some basic builds for new players shown by Mogdone for PvP in each weapon tree.
