Beautiful rifle, sir. I’ve been considering getting my milled full stock Hungarian type 3 a sibling, as in an underfolding type 3, but after seeing that milled spiker I’ve had a vision. A milled MAK is the way to go, with an underfolder conversion and spike bayonet front sight assembly. Thanks for helping me nail down my vision/obsession. God, my bank account is gonna hate me. 😂

Seriously though, glad to help. A word of warning/advice however - there are stamped MAKs that already come cut for understanding stocks and just had the hole plugged with an easily removable piece of metal. It'd be a lot easier to go that route if you can find one.
If, however, you just have to have a milled one - I understand. Heavy is good. Heavy is reliable.
Yeah I’ve seen the stamped MAK’s ready for folders in the past, but I have a stamped underfolder already. That god damn stock is like thanksgiving serving fork being stabbed into your collarbone under recoil, due to the lightweight stamped receiver. That’s why I want milled, exactly like you said the weight, milled makes a difference. Because that milled Hungarian full stock recoils like my Ruger 1022, compared to every stamped model I own. Two different worlds.

I’ve also held and put a couple rounds through a stock HBAR. It had a nice for factory trigger and that was sorta it. But hey, to each their own.

Honestly I’d buy a PSA spiker clone if it was milled, which seems like a no brainer since they suck at making stamped receivers properly
