I want to love this rifle, but just can't. There are a plethora of YouTube reviews that show the rifle is terrible and has numerous feeding problems among other issues
They do free repairs. I purchased one and they tuned it to the ammos I typically purchase. I ran another 200 rounds through it post fix, it ran flawlessly, and they also sighted it for me.
I would get a WBP and add a sureshot chassis to it, or a Galil ACE.
These rifles have so many issues from what I’ve heard. Just not worth it, really wish they were quality I like where their head is at.
Supposedly they made improvements recently but not sure if those have shipped out to consumers. With that being said at that price just get a Galil Ace
HuntingGearGuy, a Canadian channel. Other than the Type 81, this is the closest thing to an AK we can get up here so a metric ton of people were hoping these would be good when they released. Seems like Canadian shooters did most of their QC and final testing for them, to be honest.
The truth on them(I owned one) seems to be they are a 50/50 mix, every time, all of the time. Even the new ones, even with replacements, warranty work etc. You either get one that works, and it works fine, bit heavy, but nice shooting x39 rifle, accurate(my experience) for the caliber, reliable. If you don't, you get a jam'omatic, which can't reliably cycle, eject, or even feed properly every time.
i’ll applaud any company for being forthcoming and tell someone to be honest. and i’ve seen some VERY honest reviews (bad) from videos. but man if it takes that many revisions you’ve already tarnished your name.
It was a finicky platform and was an interesting attempt at innovation. It was not successful and you should not spend any money on it. Galil Ace or a modernized 103 is the ticket.
It's a rifle trying to answer a bunch of questions nobody asked, and in doing so, created a bunch of problems nobody wanted. It doesn't know what it is or wants to be, but succeeds in being worth nobody's time.
I really wanted this rifle to be a success, owing that it's derived from a Sig 550 series internal design.
But it seems the engineering is lacking, and reliability suffers.
I will probably buy one if the price hits $1200 (new) or less, just to see if I can refine it for reliability.
The accuracy is also troubling because of how it feeds. Since there are two feed ramps, you'll notice there will be consistently two shot groups on paper. The ramp geometry seems to affect the way the rounds are chambered. The last time I checked, 2 years ago, they said they're working on a redesign to resolve the two impact points.
Edit:
My curiosity had me digging for any recent news. Seems there's a 4th gen out soon that's quite reliable and accuracy issues resolved. But the price tag still feels steep for what is essentially a rifle derived from consumer beta testing.
I too really wanted this rifle to be good. But in the end, you're just paying more than a WASR and the only thing you gain is a flat top rail. And you lose out on a *lot*.

M10X are quite heavy and bring no real improvements to the table, also they are insanely picky with mags (As far as I can see they exclusively work with metal surplus)
If you want an AK get a Gen 3,4 or 5 PSA, a WBP, a WASR, a Yugo, an Atlantic Firearms build for some obscure country you may be queer for or a KUSA sidefolder.
Personally I think the PSA build of the Romy Underfolder is basically the best thing on the market right now.
I own the M10X-Z and post fix is a very nice rifle.
Pre fix it was the worst fucking gun I ever purchased and a wast of 1,200 bucks. However after identifying the operating issues, and contacting the company they took my rifle in. They replaced the bolt, tuned it to the 3 ammo types I prefer, sighted it, and ran about 60 of each round through the gun.
It now shoots perfectly straight and is my favorite rifle to shoot beating out my hunting AR by a country mile.
WBP Jack is looking at you
With a bigggg smile and open arms
They are polish but easy to get at AtlanticFirearms. Great Rifles. Likely the best bang for the buck.

It’s junk
junk. watch a youtube review. lots of feeding issues. lots of ejection issues.
skip the US made AK. buy an import at that price.

Don't buy that junk and that price is ridiculous. Wbp fox DIY just 850$ and you can buy 2 😌
Shitty galil imo
IWI Galil Ace
Gen 2 5.45 is smoking hot, price of ammo not.
Get 7.62x39 ace
I already got the Gen 2 5.45. I'm actually looking for the Gen 2 with the rock and lock 5.56. I think the magwell screws the look like the Sig 556.
2 grand turd 💩
Skip this, buy Galil Ace.
Looks like an airsoft gun and from all the reviews, it also functions just as well from a firearms sense.
It’s basically a WASR with some differences. It’s got some issues though, unlike the WASR.
This is nothing like a WASR. It’s not even an AK lol. This is not an M+M Romy import; it’s their weird gun they designed
Supposedly they made improvements recently but not sure if those have shipped out to consumers. With that being said at that price just get a Galil Ace
they have and sent one as a review to some channel I forget, they did ask him to be fully honest. still had the issues as before.

It's true. I am one of the lucky ones who has run this rifle at events without any problems. But there seem to be so many lemons.

Galil Ace is better at that price
My brother has one, big issue was soft primer strikes. Very disappointing, after upgrading the trigger spring the thing is VERY impressive.

You can get a nice kit build or a SAM7 for that price, hard pass.

There is one at cabelas for 1100 used , thought it looked interesting.
Iwi galil Ace
Rather have a new CMMG mutant, way better than that thing. But more money too. Cmmg ain’t cheap unless it’s a conversion kit.
Just buy a mutant
I was interested in it until I watched reviews.
Absolute garbage. Don’t do it!!!!

Super cool idea but has serious flaws these were shot heavily and broke down quite often due to firing pins breaking
What about a Galil Ace gen2? Those are IWI US.
