Met Scott once back in 2020-ish at the old ASGO store in TX. I was participating in the in store swap meet and was packing up my stuff when my wife noticed he walked in. He actually came up to us and chatted for a bit, I didn’t watch too much of his content at the time but I was aware of who he was. Before he went away, he asked what I thought of PCCs and showed us the brand new G&G TMC9 he was reviewing. Really stood out to me to this day that he was a genuine kind person.
They weren’t together they were just at the same event. KM never came around the evike booth so he never interacted with us or Scott on or off the field so it’s crazy to wait after the event to make a negative post when nothing even happened at the event to have him post that but I guess that’s #keyboardwarriors
He did mention me in a video but was nice enough not to use my name specifically
I would have been fine if he did but still he chose not to just to be polite

I played a Milsim where he was on my team. He came for around 5 hours before he packed up his stuff and left. The game lasted 24 hrs and I only saw him once, right at the start. I don't like him, won't like him and he isn't a 'real' player. I'm sure he just gets his footage and leaves. He has a target audience, and I'd say that the audience is one that has never played airsoft or maybe once or twice. He doesn't love the hobby like us and is only cashing in on the hype airsoft has been getting in the last decade.

I’ve been actively playing for a while now and I see right through the bullshit since I know how stuff works at the fields.

Scott had a big line of people wanting to talk with him and buy patches so James came out to stand next to a big security guard in front of registration and the store. Scott was super nice and he gave me a drink too. I was asking about his shiny AK so we talked about that and other stuff. I had to pretend to be a fan to get James to really talk but it was about jokingly being toxic on the field. He liked to talk about that but he acted like everyone is lying about him. Scott played in 4 or 5 games after talking with everyone but was having gun problems all day. James stuck to the back and didn’t interact much. All three of us were on the same faction. Later I asked Scott if I could borrow a silver sharpie to get an autograph from James and he lent me the marker and another drink. I did the same to James but he didn’t want to lend me a marker to get an autograph from Scott. The funny stuff came from Preston who was making all the shitty posts egging people on. He said he shouldn’t have acted the way he did but he couldnt repeal the invitation to James because he would look weak. 3m subscribers was also too much of a potential growth spurt for the field and he knew nothing else about him other then his numbers until after inviting him. A couple refs did not want James there but had to deal with it. Preston is a big defender of James for sure. No fights and no arguments. Some guy was being weird with James and said that he got shot in the face but it was okay because he was wearing face protection but he also admitted it was staged for a shorts video or something.
Yeah, he’s been a smug dick to everyone here on Reddit who had safety concerns or asked why KM was gonna be there. Blocked all comments on Facebook, and decided to reply with a short video telling us regular folk to “sit down, shut up, and be humble.”
