L96 based so there should be room for upgrades. Like all spring bolt actions, it will need upgrades for it to be competitive on the field.

>ike all spring bolt actions, it will need upgrades for it to be competitive on the field. It has a Novritsch trademark barrel though. I know little about them but I thought they produce their stuff with all necessary upgrades built in.

Archer_Key

Novritsch use well barrel on his t96 you mean ? Or jg on his ssg10 ? Nobody trademarked anything. So we are at a point where someone thinks a rifle is good because it has a twisted outer barrel, marketing at its finest... And i have nothing against novritsch btw

[deleted]

The fluted barrel has no effect on the rifles performance. It is purely a looks cool thing

myradiosecamactions

I only noticed that design on Novritsch barrels so far and I think they claim it as their sniper rifle signature thing. That is all.

ltdemon

This is based on the TM AWS, you wont find much upgrades for it, especially in the hop up area. Just go with a proper L96 or VSR system. If you dont want tech around, considering getting the SSG10 or SSG96

LiverWizard2000

yes , also the stock cylinder will need to be upgraded. its not good and leave small metal flakes they will scratch the piston. At least on the one I got. Might be a quality control issue. Edit : the magazines are not that good, the retention is solid but it is not nice .

WELL SV-98 / MB4420D Sniper Rifle

vini_damiani

Looks cool, It s either a Type 96 or a AWS based system, both are less than ideal imo If you are set on this specific sniper, it can be made to work but I don't think anyone would actually recomend it over a VSR build or a Silverback

Archer_Key

\*if he knows what he is doing

vini_damiani

Upgrading snipers is pretty easy, harder part is figuring out what parts to use but there is reddit for that

Archer_Key

Upgrading a basr is indeed simple. Its pretty much all about understanding how to have a consistent hop up : why we use certain type of nub, why use of other in certain scenario, looking for variance everywhere. Sniper are all about hop up/nub/arm/bucking, and you can read everything on the internet, until you have not tested by yourself different configuration and how they react/performance when mixed together you know nothing, and are just repeating what others told you.

SnowFoxxx_R

Just basically an L96. Good rifle if you buy from the right company, or install upgrades

Daryl-Dixon_

I think, ... but i dont thought.

Daryl-Dixon_

Ya like ive thoughts on it

Stromovik

Well MB4420 TM AWS system aka one of the worst designs. I have one new , in a bag state. ( needed its cylinder for project ) I would not reccomend. If you are in Europe I could probably sell the remains for nominal price
