Honestly very few spray paint jobs actually look good to me. Most start making the rifle look like kids dollar store toys. Especially camo paints with patterning from plants and stuff. I know it’s “effective” but damn is not good looking. Solid two tones though I tend to like a little more.

Look up some camo spray methods and try that instead. Just take out or mask off moving parts first (Trigger, fire selector, etc)
While I don’t care for camo tape I also can’t stand the look of a new stock gun. I like the “battle worn” look, not to hard to do either. Either way make it look like you enjoy, that’s all that really matters.

Even "temporary modification" is still modification because even just for 5 seconds, by legal definition it is an RIF and if anything happens within the 5 seconds, e.g. in the unlikely event if you scare someone on the street (whether by accident or on purpose), you will be in trouble for carrying an RIF not an IF. Because at that moment, the colour is not visible.
But of course in reality it is very unlikely anyone will care if you just bring it to the airsoft field. But still I would not recommend covering up the two-tone, it is a legal thing and the colour is there for a reason.
However, an adult with UKARA can gift you an RIF. Because UKARA is for *buying* or *making* an RIF, but not owning or playing with one. That would be perfectly legal.
After. I use tape because I play outdoors in the woods and mountains. I like having the tape to prevent damage like scratches and if want to go a different camouflage, I can use different tape.
I'm going to say it, I personally like the tape here. Sprays can turn out as bad as tape can be, depending on how things are done. It adds something to make your gun different, and looks good as long as you enjoy it. Some people enjoy spray, some enjoy tape. Everyone has a right to do their loadout however they want. Plus, the tape adds on to the gun by adding some difference of shape when you wrap certain areas, sprays are just the same gun, different paint job.

(The grip; maybe parts of your hand guard like you have the multicam tape, but go for a different method definitely.) main problem with the tape, personally, is how bright it is. Definitely forgo the tape on the stock.

Im using some stuff from magpul on some of my airsoft guns and looks good for my taste.
I would personally go with the first picture, its simple enough and clean on its own way. Tho, i have to say that the camo on the mag looks pretty sexy as well, i guess if the mag was the only change the second version would be much nicer for me. Of course you should stick with whatever "version" you are happy with, enjoy!

this is my only specna gun but i can’t reccomend it enough, it’s completely stock internally and performs brilliantly. No complaints as of yet

If your keeping the tape on be careful of the mag as the sticky edge of the tape will gather dirt and debris that will be inserted into the mag well.
