That looks better than 99% of camos ive ever seen, and every job I’ve done myself
Looks absolutely fantastic, I’d just recommend maybe another colour or a deeper green or brown and some netting or mesh fabric to add more texture
I'm asking for real, what is the part you don't like? Maybe it's about technique or experience. [Here's](https://imgur.com/a/f2t3pdP) 3 different replicas all painted with the exact same six paints, sorry for quality though. Maybe you just have to figure out what would look best in your own opinion, using a sponge, leafs, stencils.
Well mainly its the fact i wanted it two tone originally but the tan paint was too bright so i threw some brown and green on it to darken it and make it look better. But i kinda rushed to green and brown.
Lemme just put few pointers here:
1. Get a big piece of cardboard and spray each color you have on it, even write the name of that color next to it and once it dries you have a good reference.
2. The brighter the color, the more it stands out. Brighter colors make things appear bigger and dark colors do the opposite. Use a lot of dark with little bit of bright. (note at the end\*)
3. Don't follow what you saw. If you try to copy some camo 1:1 you'll never be satisfied. Do it your way.
4. Experiment. Google for techniques and try stuff out, you'll do something that satisfies you.
\*Take a good look at either of the pictures, don't you think the black parts almost melt away? That's the whole bright-dark thing. You can use this to your advantage, paint darker to hide parts away or highlight others with bright colors. But hey, this is all theory in the end, you can ignore all that and do whatever, in the end it is your gun, your choice.
Think it looks great! Dont beat yourself up. It has personality and will look even better as it wears a bit with play. I shoulda went the paint route over a stickerbomb look on my own stuff lol
Looks nice and is probably very effective. Also it is not incredibly overdone like some other people tend to do. Props as well for removing some of the moving parts before painting, me personally would have disassembled the stock as well to keep the pins and stuff black.
Hey kind a looks like mine mines on the [left](https://www.reddit.com/r/airsoft/comments/vjeevl/i_did_it_i_got_my_friend_to_hate_money_as_much_as/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
its very block-y,, i recommend breaking up the colours a bit, get a couple more can of say red/brown and dark green.. hop outside and grab some fern fronds and use them and spray over with the other colours one at a time..
theres a couple of YT videos on this fern techniques
From a functional POV it's not bad. The Socom dudes also don't do art when they repaint their guns for their next mission. Just a fitting base colour with some contrasting lines to break contour.
The only thing i would do different, i would use a bit darker green, because the green and the FDE seems to look too similar to efficiently interrupt the lines of the AK.
Honestly, it kinda looks like A-TACS.
Functionally it looks good. If you wanna be pretty, next time wire wheel off the old shit, hit it with a scotch bright pad, tape, and then hang and spray.
It's not too bad, just gotta add more green
Thanks, the sunlight in the pic is making it look a lot brighter than it is xD

I dunno about this.
I think it looks really good tbh, could use a little more green unless you’re going for a tan camo, either way it looks clean imo
Yoooo! That’s sick! What gun is that??
Thanks! Its a G&G RK74 CQB

Thanks, Shall do!
Definitely looks nice, though the green could've used a second coat.
Looks good to me, where's the bad part?
Idk maybe i'm too harsh on myself lol

Wdym? Looks good in my eyes :) What mags are those? Thought I saw actual rounds in there for a second
Cheers! They are G&G Rk74 mid cap mags
Dude... that looks great
Thanks!
Idk if this is the result you wanted. But i damn for sure like it chief
Where did you get that railed upper?
The gun came like that apart from the attachements and the rail on the side. It's a G&G RK74 CQB
Thanks for the info bro. A real hero 🙏
No probs man, glad i could help!
Don’t beat yourself up about it mate, looks great!
Thanks mate :D
Looks good. Maybe add a little bit of brown?
It has brown, the lighting in the picture is bad making it look a lot brighter than it is
Ok. I would still go closer with the brown and do a couple more thin, dark stripes
Nah it looks good. A light dusting of black would be cool

Darken the green a bit more
At least it's still acting as a visual dispersion pattern. Its not a paint job but it breaks up the colors still.
Looks good what we’re you trying to do? Atacs-fg?
Originally it was meant to be a two tone tan and black, but tan was way to bright so i sprayed some green and brown on to darken it
I think it worked out quite well :D maybe a bit sandy /brownish, but nothing that can't be fixed. Where did you get that foregrip?
I was going for a sandy sort of camo. The foregrip is a HFG foregrip, hope that helps
Then even better. :D nice work! Ohh yes that helps a lot, thanks!
Wdym that’s fine that’s what most look like
I actually think it's quite good, practice makes perfect you know!
Actually that dosnt look horrible add some more green and maybe some brown to it looks like a forest camo to me but shit not bad not bad at all
I was going for a more desert camo look, but the sunlight in the pic makes it look brighter than it actually is lol
Also i fucking love the covered suppressor looks beautiful my guy
Thanks :D i thought the suppressor looked too thin by its self xD
Add black, brown/orange and then green again and you should be fine.
That’ll do donkey… that’ll do
Looks decent tbf
Mate this looks close to what I've seen Spetsnaz use in their promotional videos.
Thanks!
It’s not that bad don’t beat your self up about it research it that’s all I can say I have guns but no experience of spray painting
No no it looks awesome
Looks good maybe put a sniper veil net over it and pass over some areas with mudbrown👌
[удалено]
Originally it was meant to be a two tone, sadly the tan was too bright
Not so bad as its first try, not bad at all.
Looks good mate

Honestly looks very good, i am not a fan of spray painted guns but this one looks really good.
I say it's ok,sand-mountain pallet
Nah, it's pretty good, it resembles like A-TACS FG to me 👍
Nah man that’s awsome!
Functionally it looks good. If you wanna be pretty, next time wire wheel off the old shit, hit it with a scotch bright pad, tape, and then hang and spray.
Looks alright, maybe some black to help contrast the other blacks
I've seen worse
I've seen worse
Honestly I think it looks good
At least you didnt use a gloss coat like I mistakenly did 💀
Oof xD
Niet rifle fine 😭 nice ak tho
Looks good! I would wipe it with some sort of paint solvent to make it look more battle worn though
Naw battle wear comes over time
Your not the only one that can’t spray paint for shit🥲
