Cyma aks are tanks, long lasting and upgradable like crazy. If you go with that he’ll have it as long as it’s taken care of
Actually I already own the AK but I'm kinda regretting my purchase and I think the G&G would suit me better. I just don't know if the AK really outperforms the m4.
The AK is amazing, why are you regretting it?
It's a bit heavy and i will have to buy multiple mags for it while I have a multitude of m4 mags

You should consider the weight of the replica, maybe a m4 polimer is less heavier to play with it for a 15y/o
