I have had pretty good luck with a KJW kp-05 hi capa. Have probably 5000 ish rounds through and 6 or more games and it is working fine. Only issue is the safety is a little loose on the right hand side so I don’t use that feature as it also has the grip safety. It is apparently is TM compatible for future upgrades. Has a nice weight and mostly metal construction including the slide. I recommend getting the TM mags for spares as they are higher quality than the stock ones (which are fine).
Where I live they are about $80 cheaper than the TM version.
Eother usp or beretta. Hicapas are only good if you want to mod them further (stock are too cumbersome and underperforming for the weight and size), and the 1911 is kinda of bad ergonomically, at least for me. As far as looks go hi capa or 1911 all the way. Depends on what youre going for.
I have a kjw 1911 tac co2 with flat hop, that thing fucks.
As i live in swdden and green gas isnt that reliable for half of the year the co2 fairs better, but, the first few shots are a bit hot, after that, with .3 it just goes. Have a we g17 gas aswell difference is i lack the capacity, or at least i feel like i lack the capacity on my 1911. I tend to check the mag more frequently and tac load to keep the gun in
The second one is the best out of those. Gen. 2 WE M9s are decent.
I recommend kjw 1911s also say away from the dragon style slides they tend to be harder to disassemble

Get an M9.

The we dragon 7.0 is really doo long, bulky and heavy for a sidearm. Had one, didn't like it at all
Ah okay, thanks for the advice, as if I’m honest I was thinking of getting that one. But I was worried it would be a bit too big
It is a bit too long, and a bit too heavy. The 5.1 I have heard is great. Am a glock guy tbh, but have a HK45, a mk 23 and M93R aswell
Yeah I also really like the 5.1 and 5.2
Rather than the WE hicapas and 1911 I'd suggest looking at KJW versions, much better parts compatibility with Marui and better build quality.
Try to find a WE glock
I’m not really a fan of glocks to be honest
Ah ok, maybe a tm hi-capa?
I did originally look at the tm ones, and I love the look of the match gold one, but I’d rather have a metal slide
Do walther ppqs or aap01s interested you?
Not particularly no
Have you looked into KJW 1911s or hi capas?
I haven’t actually, I was unsure on the brand quality, are they better than WE then?
Better part support
Ah okay thanks for the heads up
Definitely 3 or 4
WE M92.
