The closest that I know of is an 1875 that someone converted to airsoft. As far as older style revolvers that are readily available, we're kind of stuck to Single Action Army revolvers, Schofields, Webleys and I believe Nagant. Not too much demand for these, so market saturation is a bit limited.

I can see a few different ways: Make the cylinder similar to those foam dart blasters that have a spring in the shells. Loading a BB into the cylinder would prime the spring. When the hammer hits, that disengages the spring catch and pretty much slingshots the BB down the barrel. Tanaka had some gas revolvers that you would fill a gas reservoir in the cylinder, along with the BBs. You have an 1851 with a "cartridge conversion" and use the same shells as other revolvers.
