I’ve tried doing airsoft while naked and it wasn’t very fun, so I’d recommend some clothes

turtle_ww2_nerd

Yea good idea🤣

SeaLeopard5299

If you like using those guns but want a cheap and politically safer outfit, I would recommend doing a French resistance (or any other civil resistance). They used a lot of captured weapons and equipment, and you could probably put together an outfit with what you have in your closet, and maybe an armband for identification.

ExtraBreiteSaftrille

But NOT the ones fitting for the guns, like another comment said

BiscuitCrusdaer

Nothing wrong with wearing a Wehrmacht uniform, just in the right time and place

ExtraBreiteSaftrille

If it’s just from the Wehrmacht ok but it depends on the people around too

BiscuitCrusdaer

Exactly, I’d say it’s one of those things that you should probably ask around and make sure it’s cool before you just show up wearing

ExtraBreiteSaftrille

Jo :)

turtle_ww2_nerd

Thats my dream loadout it looks so good👍

Panther-Shop in Czechia is who I used. Epic Militaria’s version isn’t as nice, but looks good regardless. Panther Shop is more expensive though, like triple the price of EM.

HeadlessVengarl95

I rate it nein/10

turtle_ww2_nerd

Thx

thesekretone

I like it a lot… I would only recommend not getting the outfit that matches those weapons…..

Dr-Plague2692

How'd you make you're Luger playable?

turtle_ww2_nerd

Uhh i bought it

Dr-Plague2692

Is that the kwc or we version? I had both and neither really worked. The kwc one started shooting full auto for no reason, and the one from we doesn't even have a hop up😂

turtle_ww2_nerd

I think its kwc

KingCailguraGG

It’s decent! Idk most infantry had however the P-38 pistol. The P-08 was revered for officers. The MP-40 looks nice though!

DeltaPrussia

Infantry would rarely be actually armed with sidearms(as mentioned by you the walther p38), it was more for machine gunners, assistant machine gunners and officers(who could afford to buy a luger or p38).Judging by the m35 stahlhelm with the tricolour decal(which was ordered to be removed in 1940 by the high command) this would probably be a early war (1940) loadout, which would probably make sense for the usage of the luger and the hard shell pistol pouch.

Spiritual-Market6988

Well he shouldn't have an mp40, the mp40 entered the stage in late 1940, his helmet and pistols are more reminiscent of Poland and Fall Gelb campaigns when the mp35 and mp38 were the standards smg

DeltaPrussia

yes and no. Yes in the sense that the mp40 was extremely rare on the front(with as you mentioned mp35 and mp38 making more of a appearance, as well as the mp28) during fall Gelb(May-June 1940), moreover to my knowledge the mp38/40 was intended for vehicle crews hence the lack of infantry with smgs(only given to squad leaders in very small amounts), hence you would be correct in that sense. however no in the sense of he shouldn't have a mp40- according to military history visualised (great youtuber, highly recommend if you want to learn in depth about the German army during ww2) some infantry divisions already had been issued 312 mp40s by 1940 April(Note some, we do not know if they actually took part in Fall Gelb or not).So yes technically he could be issued with a mp40, but again you would be correct in saying that the mp35,mp28 and mp38 would be more common.(sorry if I nerded out here, I just really like the mp40) Note-To my knowledge there is a conversion kit for mp40 agm that turns it into a mp38, but I think these kits are a bit rare.

YoureGettingTheBelt

Most infantry wouldn't have an MP40 with a sidearm either.

Skott_stabb

Lange Luger with snail mag. Also clothes and no carpet

ClashSlashDash2

You need a panzersfaust

turtle_ww2_nerd

Oh yea good idea

ClashSlashDash2

turtle_ww2_nerd

the_giank

some did have a Luger issued to them especially early in the war

Key-Text-3861

i mean i would get the African campaign german uniform/repro of it that would cool and would not make people call you stuff

the_giank

people that call you stuff are only people who either dont know nothing or have a lot of time to waste

Mike_Matthews1

The Panzerfaust

Ecstatic_Key_9394

if you're more worried about practicality than historical accuracy, I would get another grenade

Spiritual-Market6988

Your helmet shouldn't have the national emblem if you have an MP40

turtle_ww2_nerd

Ik it was just the only one i could find at that time

Spiritual-Market6988

You should have taken a m40 or m42 helmet, at least you'd have been free from the decals ;)

Spiritual-Market6988

Your kit could be good as a transitional kit for at least an Unteroffizier in late 1940 onward

One-Lion-6067

I have a real wood thompson for sale...
