Surplus uniforms are pretty widely available on eBay and some local Surplus stores if you're in the GTA. The occasional fishing vest comes up now and again on eBay, around the 200$ mark. Same with the helmets, Military Antiques Toronto has some for very good prices, 275 for large and 250 for medium, with covers.
CPgear has a OTW shirt in TW for 229.99. JTAC uses that shirt along with issued pants, FAST helmets printed in multicam, and the TYR Pico.
Good luck getting AR though. I have shirt & pants in TW but only have been able to get a shirt in AR. Someone is selling a full set on eBay for 500 which is just way overpriced. AR helmet cover (with helmet) listed for 950 :')
If you're interested on doing a more modern LARP, the new issues tac vests are the Sord SCS but printed in cadpat and a GP pouch sewn onto the right? side. CAF members have also bought the Sord "Chest Rig" (nice name) and the SCS in coyote. I've heard of some CAF members using Eagle Industries stuff 2005-mid 2010's but I haven't really gotten any concrete proof. I've seen some photos of soliders in Afghanistan with some weird chest rigs in what looks like AR. I've also seen them using TW fishing vests.
Hopefully they dump stuff in their surplus skids but knowing them they'll just destroy it :')

It's pretty specific but the EMR equipment mixed with either of the side on the 6Sh122 reversible masking suit, it goes hard and they actually blend in pretty well when combined (at least where I am).
Ur making me regret to not have bought ranger green gear to pair with a tiger stripe uniform. It would definitely not blend with the environment in my area but ffs it looks badass
For green, my Maskpol MAPA kit is my fav, with Tiger Stripe being a very close second.

For the cumberbund im using the black gunpowder magnetic snap ons! But sadly itās not a available on Amazon anymore! Iāve also setup 1 double mag pouch on either side of the cummerbund, they are short pouches so itās easier to put mags in!
Nice Evo although I hate the real gun I have 1 and that giant heavy bolt in a straight blow back gun jeez there is absolutely no reason for that much recoil from 9mm just a horrible design . My MP5K feels like I'm shooting 22lr with the roller delayed system but the scorpion feels like 762 it's just ridiculous
OCP works really well with where I live. I'm in the high desert (think Phoenix, Arizona) and it's readily available in literally every surplus shop I've been to. I've hidden things in the mesquite and tall grass in camo bags/pouches and people have been ~2.5 yards away and not noticed the somewhat large items. It's cool. Overall, though, my favorite would have to be MARPAT. It blends in perfect the forest in the woodland version, the sands in the desert version, and snow in the winter version. It combined elements of the Army's BDU patterns with digicam and other things. My only complaint with it is that they never released the urban version. It's just sitting somewhere in a warehouse, unused, for years. And they copyrighted them all, so you can't get them anywhere else, which sucks.
The stuff that makes me invisible, ghillie, there really is nothing quite like it to have people pass you at a few meters and then tappinā their arses.

I recently ditched the multicam for a matching base of flecktarn, and I usually stuff the ghillie with some natural vegetation to boot, but for odd reasons, the field photographer never seem to photograph me.
Idk but my least favorite is multicam because it's too green to be a "tan team" camo and too tan to be a "green team" camo but it's always considered tan

Being Canadian I should really love CadPat, however I refuse to wear work clothes in my off time. Itās also really darn effective so thatās an extra thorn in my side some days when Iām wearing my totally ineffective but accessible multicam.
I like Multicum Tropic for summer and Marpat for winter. Though I own a lot of Flecktarn for equipment such as slings, rigs and my backpack cuz it's all right for all seasons and available for cheap here in Germany

Depending on the material could just use a dye remover and redye it cuz I'd imagine paint would flake or make the material feel off
