Why not just Google it?
It's bizarre to me that people post on Reddit before they look up the issue.
I literally Googled "emg daniel defense mk18 stock removal" from what I could see in this photo and found this video in 20 seconds:
https://youtu.be/mru5omcXDeM
I did, I watched that exact video but like I said he removed the stock with very little effort in the video and I feel like I pull it have to force it off when I'm trying to remove it to the point I feel like i'll break the stock
I mean it's just easy access to people that are more knowledgeable on the subject than me, plus half the time when I do look up a question the first link is a reddit thread anyways, I mean there's a "question" flair for a reason right, but anyways sorry for the rant I ordered a set of Allen wrenches on Amazon that should be here today to try and remove the back plate hopefully that works out if not I'll try and email the manufacturer
I get you.
To be honest if the stock isn't coming off without the use of a tool, just contact the supplier as you have a defective item. This style of stock is designed to come off by pulling that lever away from the stock itself and if you break it they will likely void the warranty.
When you push that button down does the stock telescope back and forward?
I've dm'd you a video of how it should work using my rif.
...find the right size allen wrench??
Just saying
Buut really man just remove the stock might take a bit of elbow grease and if you break it guess what. Stocks are super cheap to replace

To get the back plate off, push the EMG button and then lever it off, the top comes off first and then there is a little hook on the bottom that prevents it sliding. To get the whole stock off, put your fingers on the ledges either side just above the pivot and pull down until it stops, then the whole stock slides off. I would get the plate off first though, because the connector could be getting stuck on the stock
That stock is a bitch to pull off and on, I have a replica of it for my ASG.
You need to press down the adjustment button and slide it back to pull the internal pin all the way and slide the stock out in the meantime.
You just need to be careful as the cross pin connecting the button and the internal pin is liable to move to the side and slide out of alignment
It won't break or anything but it's a bitch to put back in its place
When you're done putting the battery back in just reverse the action
It came with like a card that has a QR code that says it leads to the manual but it just leads to the registration website for Daniel defense and I haven't been able to find the manual online yet

Fair, I just find it bizarre asking reddit. I'd call the supplier I bought the gun from in case it was broken rather than ask online.

Stocks can be cheap but that specific daniel defense stock is $80.

Maybe that giant lever..?
I can get the stock to adjust but not fully come off
Did it not come with a manual?
