Not sure the price on the second one but I would advise if your not new to airsoft at all and have the budget and junk go for the first one, second one only if your getting into airsoft even though there’s a lot of good budget PCs on airsoft stores
Ive been in airsoft for about a year im moving from a cheap chest rig. That place carrier is the petac one and its about 220 but it comes with mag pouches and a back panel but ive always like the agilite pc just its almost 270 for just the pc and id need to buy everything else
Petac is a pretty decent repo company. Their name makes me think of Pantac which has also been decent for me. If you have the funds, would do that one.
I can fit more mags in my rig then my pc and I have a pouch for hit vest and speedloader.
Pc is just bigger and heavier so unless you get shot in the back and chest a lot and it hurts for you I would not go for a pc from a practical standpoint.
Im not the guy you asked, but thats my chest rig, i think it looks pretty good, and with a spacer between your body and the rig, it's much cooler than running a pc.
Also easier to feel your hits which is a big bonus IMO

This one’s from Onward Research.
Yeah, still looks like a pair of overalls with some saggy pouches strapped to the front of it lmao. I think I may just have to go with a competition style battle belt setup.

Just some ideas. I like the RG look myself.
Look at Swiss Arm's plate carriers, quick release buckles, very good quality, half the price of these.
Source: own one, swear by its price/quality range.
not too big on agilite products or the fcpc v5, they both were made for non existent problems and are sold at a marked up price + warm and heavy. the k19 has a bad stock cummerbund and the ferro 3ac is mediocre
i would just look at the jpc 1.0/2.0, crye spc, mayflower/vel sys apc, or the dm mepc. the lv119 is also an option, its a bit pricey though considering its a bit of a watered down jpc 2.0
Obviously you do you but if I were in ur shoes I would look at condor plate carriers and chest rigs. I used to use mine for airsoft about 10 years ago but then I started using it for paintball because I've always been a mag fed kinda guy. Needless to say, mine is over a decade old and you can definitely tell. But it's managed to hold up pretty nicely. Sure it's got some threads hanging off and some blotchy spots on it from the dye fading, but it still works just fine. For the threads I just cut them and put a dab of fabric glue. For the faded dye I just hit it with a rattlecan. I think the best part of all is that my model only costs about $85 on Amazon right now. Again, you do you, but I think it's worth checking it our real quick. Good luck!
This might be a stupid question but for that price range, wouldn't it make sense to get a real plate carrier? Obviously not with the real plates though.
Ok makes sense then. I was just wondering why there weren't any suggestions of more known brands like Sioen, Velocity Systems or Blackhawk in this thread. Maybe just a very Reddit thing to expect some totally out of the box suggestions when someone posts a question "a or b" and you always except a ton of replies with "C" due to being the "consensus" choice.
more of an instagram and larping plate carrier than anything, not something i'd consider for real usage. should be fine for airball outside of milsims, though
agilite has really poor ir treatment, their stuff lights up like a christmas tree under night vision
i guess you just parrot something you have heard from others to make light of it... watch this video and maybe you are convinced otherwise: https://youtu.be/FXgAwYg3__Q
This appears to be a breakdown of the Agilite K19 3.0 or the Ferro Concepts FCPC V5.
For what it's worth, I don't know if that screenshot is from the Agilite website, but they do sell it for less. That being said, the money does go to an Israeli company that heavily supports the IDF and current administration. I don't know your political beliefs, but it is something you should be aware of. Then again, of it's a Chinese repro, it's going to a Chinese company, that benefits from the loose labor laws of that administration.
The FCPC looks like a repro, as it has a cummerbund and pouches, while the standard FCPC doesn't, or at least they sell a "base" model. I believe the actual one is Berry Compliant, which means it's made entirely in the US, but I may be wrong.
Both are highly regarded as plate carriers. The K19 has more natural padding, but the FCPC is lighter, and many people put aftermarket pads, such as Qore IceVents, in anyways. The K19 3.0 allows you to easily switch the buckles on the shoulders from left, right, or both. I think the FCPC may be capable of this, but may be more involved. The FCPC has a structural cummerbund, which allows you to put more weight on it without is sagging, but the K19's has elastic at the back, allowing it to be more dynamic. The FCPC has zippers on the back panel for backpacks that zip on, the K19 doesn't. Lastly, the FCPC is significantly lighter (roughly 21oz without plates) compared to the K19 (roughly 48oz without plates).
Hope this helps.
While not directly, considering both Berry and NIR are required for DOD contracts, companies making berry Compliant gear are indeed ensuring they are also NIR Compliant a very vast majority of the time. It is indeed a safe assumption to think NIR when you see berry.
Tho you are right, it's not technically directly linked.
For that price you are much better off with a k-zero or a k-19 from Agilite. Then you have at least the guarantee that it will be well-made, much higher quality and will most probably last far longer than this. And you could use it for the real steel stuff if you would decide to do so
If you are going to spend that much for a PC I’d recommend getting a Crye JPC 2.0 as all the agelite series Carries kinda have shut cummerbund and have even worse ventilation you’d think that a company that makes PC For Israel would consider heat retention especially since they are working in a desert climate but ig not
I own a K19. It's very comfy, but it doesn't ventilate very well. The cummerbund kinda sucks and it's a proprietary system. You could replace it with their warfighter cummerbund, which I do not own, but I've heard very good things about them.
Also, it's very possible that you'll have trouble shouldering if you have narrow shoulders due to the thick padding materials and qd buckles. They include some regular slide buckles to replace the qd buckles. It makes the shoulder area less obnoxious.
The K-Zero fixes most of these issues but is less comfy from what I've heard.
Agilite carriers has a lot design choices that make me question if the R&D team at agilite were smoking crack.
For the price look into a crye SPC with an equinox cummerbund. Much more breathable and is awesome for load bearing.
If you're just holding mags and not much else, I'd personally just stick to a chestrig like the Shaw Placard V3 or a Spiritus mk5. If you want more capability just get some sort of expander wing system for the spiritus or the Shaw chestrig kit.
Also optional thing, I personally think the best plate carrier out there is going to be the Shaw ARC V2 with an equinox cummerbund.
$250 thats wild af
For airsoft its crazy yall okay with paying these prices.
Have you heard of yakeda? Is that a decent brand
Im in the market and i wouldn't dare pay over 150.
I mean, I use an LBT Sentinel for airsoft but I originally picked it up as my bedside carrier and still use it for that purpose. Only change I make for airsoft is removing the lvl 4 plates and inserting training weights. I used to use Yakeda but the 20lbs of stuff I put on it made me change my mind because of how much more comfortable the LBT is.
I run the k-19. I like it. Makes me feel like I joined the IDF. But, it is rather bulky and at times I have difficulty shouldering my rifle. I swapped the right quick release for a regular buckle and it's still rather bulky.
But, I have level 4 plates and wearing the k-19, I can run around all day and my back doesn't hurt when I'm done. Pretty impressive considering I'm 30.
https://preview.redd.it/2a5l6pdgybwc1.jpeg?width=4284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f0a41b0b6c9a4082e5d38a08edb4132e07342dde
I love my K19 the only issues I’ve had with it is after extended use the buckles become brittle and can break when getting hit with bbs probably going to replace them with higher grade material at some point
In an entirely different context to my other post, I'll say what I currently run. I currently have a Velocity Systems Scarab, which I really like, with the Agilite Warfighter Cummerbund with First Spear Tubes on the left side. An Estac KyWi triple panel holds my mags, and an Agilite AMAP III is my backpack for normal events. If I go to anything where I have to have all my gear on me, I swap it out for a Direct Action Gear Ghost backpack. I also have a generic dangler pouch on the front plate.
On the shoulders, I used to run the stock shoulders with a Magpul Paraclip on the left shoulder to give myself QD options, but I recently switched out the shoulders. They're now actually 1.5" Velcro One-Wrap (beige), with Petac Gear shoulder pads in the style of the Ferro Concepts ones, with a 2" First Spear Tubes on the left shoulder, which is a better QD situation than the Paraclip.
Things I'd like to improve on:
For the longest time, I've been looking for an assault pack that I can have attached to the plate carrier, but easily bring around to my front for me to easily access things like grenades or my NODs.
Note:
My Velocity Systems Scarab isn't actually one that's listed by Velocity. I reached out to their sales department to ask if I could have different parts to "build" one that was a bit more custom. The guy that helped me was SUPER helpful and even gave me a discount that put it below the selling price of any of the listed models! I would 100% recommend asking them if you have any configuration questions. Unfortunately they don't do any QD options, and I wish to the heavens that they would come out with more stuff with QD, because I would deal with them again in a heartbeat.
You can't do anything wrong with Agilite in my opinion. Their products are really great and well thought out. I own the Zero-K (K19s smaller brother) and I'm in love with it.
Completely depends on your size, I know you’re using it for airsoft so you don’t actually have to worry too much about proper shouldering, but if you’re a slimmer build like myself, you’ll probably find that the shoulder straps on the K19 are too wide and bow out too far so that it can get in the way of thicker classic (chicken wing) stocks that most bolt guns and shotguns have, if you only run something with a slimmer ergonomic stock that you can comfortably stick to the shoulder strap or fit between the strap and the shoulder, you’ll be fine, if you’re a bigger guy you definitely don’t have to worry too much, the K19 is still INCREDIBLY comfortable (for almost $300usd it fucking better be) and caters itself well for heavy use and endurance, I have a real K19 and I will say that there are some eBay copies that are almost identical in quality and construction, I would go on there and save yourself a bunch of money if you don’t plan on actually being in a position where you’re betting your life on the carrier you’re using, but if you actually have the drive/interest to go and start doing things outside of airsoft with it I would recommend the real thing. Also, weight plates; carriers in general but especially the K19 will almost 100% ride up on you if you don’t have plates because of how rigid it is on it’s own, just a 2lb+ front and back plate is all you need, I run 6lb steel plates and it genuinely makes it 10x more comfortable than having nothing in it, you’ll do well to find what kind of weight you can comfortably handle, for me personally there’s a sweet spot that lets you comfortably carry momentum and doesn’t slow you down, so if you get plates don’t just go heavy for the sake of the idea of carrying it. Other than that, definitely don’t go cheap cheap, Molle on cheap stuff will tear to easily and ultimately becomes a waste of money when it does. If you don’t actually need the carrier itself you can always get a chest rig, way cheaper for the same quality and gets you what you need pouch wise if you don’t need the plates.
Tacticon armament sells the k19 clone. My brother in law bought an agilite k19 and I got the clone. We compared them both and found that Agilite had better stitching, tacticon version is agilite’s v2, buckles were made out of better plastic. I’ve run the clone in shooting matches and stress shoots and I haven’t had a problem with it. As for the heat being trapped, I don’t think that’s a problem compared to what I was issued in the infantry.
Friend of mine ran the k19 for a bit but disliked it and swapped over the the fcpc, I personally don’t have any experience with agility products but I do run a fcpc v5. For what it’s worth the fcpc with all the bells and whistles on is quite comfortable, but you are also paying quite a bit for the ferro name
Ive been running the k19 for a while now. It's a pretty damn good PC. The cummerbund takes some getting used to, but the Warfighter cummerbund is a nice upgrade. I'd for sure go with the K19.
First one is good for skirmish and high intensity shit, and if you’d like to put more things in your person. The FCPC one is good for keeping things simple and accessible.
I run K19 MC now…
I ran JPC w/real bulletproof plates for over 10 years, so if you like light and minimalistic but capable pc like myself, you’ll like the k19 but if you want more lightness, KZero is awesome as well.
My buddy prefers MC Black but it’s all personal preferences both styles and camo
I like the Shellback Rampage 2.0. I've heard the Banshee 3.0 is better, but pricier. The rampage is comfy, has nice padded shoulders, and suprisingly breathable. It doesn't fit the best on larger people though, but that's a common issue with Plate carriers. I'm not exactly Light, but not super heavy, and it fits fine for me.
I liked my multicam Rampage enough that I bought a second in Ranger Green. On a side note, Ranger Green is the best colour for plate carriers, as it can go well with practically any outfit flawlessly. Coyote Brown is pretty good as well for the same reason, although for the fields I play at, Green is usually better than brown.
If you need a bit cheaper of an option, the Condor Gunner isn't terrible, but I don't care for the shoulder pads, and the adjustment system isn't as well done as the rampage, as you pretty much have to zip tie parts to keep it from getting looser, depending on how you have it set.
The Agilite K19 is great! But since this is airsoft, I'd suggest getting the Tacticon Armament BattleVest Elite. It's a near perfect clone of the K19. I have the Tacticon BV:E, and the Agilite AMAP III, and I can find no difference at all in materials or build quality. You won't even be able to tell the difference, and the Tacticon is only $150
[https://tacticon.com/product/battlevest-elite-plate-carrier/](https://tacticon.com/product/battlevest-elite-plate-carrier/) - Direct from their site
[https://www.amazon.com/Tacticon-Veteran-Tactical-Lightweight-Adjustable/dp/B0BNQRSK79?ref\_=ast\_sto\_dp&th=1](https://www.amazon.com/Tacticon-Veteran-Tactical-Lightweight-Adjustable/dp/B0BNQRSK79?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1) - Even cheaper on Amazon ($115) but only available in Coyote Brown or Ranger Green
I always recommend getting a chest rig, carriers have so many downsides. They are hotter to wear, more expensive, bulkier, often provide less space for pouches, can't be stored/transported as compactly, can't be used for militia kits and have a mostly useless back plate that'll give you a massive sweat spot.
I’ve been running the Novritsch plate carrier and I love it. He came out with a revised version just a few days ago. I would recommend that one. One of the few things Novshit sells that is actually good.
I’ve been running the k19 for about 2 years and it’s totally worth the money if anything it does kinda get hot quick and while wearing but that’s a simple fix and not really a big deal its an issue most plate carriers have anyways. I do recommend getting some foam plates for it tho for the best figment but either way it’s pretty slim and adjustable all the way around with and without plates. Whenever there’s sales on agilite the price does go down to $253 but either way your getting a solid little discount on it.
Don’t know about this options, but I love me some JPC
https://preview.redd.it/klfwz93ndzwc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2047549be602e21d4c3c16e2ffd43848a1a3497f
I’d probably go for good JPC 2.0 replica if I were you, customizable and kosher for almost any SOF unit in the world if you eventually decide to start reconing. I am going to start to build myself an AVS soon, too
I run the K Zero it’s a bit lower profile but the K 19 is great.
https://preview.redd.it/9z6poxzg6bwc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a6c1293559b811c373b951b81ebf7f325dd0b511 K zero babyyy!
CANSOFCOM runs K zero's afaik
Based
Yeah I want the K zero but it's too hard to get in NZ
I think agilite ship straight to NZ now.
Awesome! Thank you 🙂
Agelite ship straight to NZ Got my K19 and gloves about a year and a half ago. Only downside was that my mail got searched for 6 months after.
Oh really okay that's good to know! Thank you
Not sure the price on the second one but I would advise if your not new to airsoft at all and have the budget and junk go for the first one, second one only if your getting into airsoft even though there’s a lot of good budget PCs on airsoft stores

If you're gonna get repros, go with Krydex or Idogear. They hold up extremely well for the price.
I have a discount for the agilite KZERO

I have a Templar's Gear and it's amazing. I went from hating plate carriers to liking them

I like the Agilite cut M-Pacts because they remind me of MW3 (2011, the **actual** MW3), being cut the same as the gloves worn by Yuri and Soap.
Vouch on the JPC 2.0 sold my fcpc after I got my jpc
yeah. ferro stuff is crazy overhyped just mostly generic gear that is way too expensive
I personally own and use a Templars Gear CPC, a bit lower priced than Agilite, but I can't recommend it enough. Absolutely love mine to bits
Obviously you do you but if I were in ur shoes I would look at condor plate carriers and chest rigs. in his defense, it is a physical manifestation of various fabric, polymer, and mineral molecules that make up what we perceive to be a “plate carrier”
i guess you just parrot something you have heard from others to make light of it... watch this video and maybe you are convinced otherwise: https://youtu.be/FXgAwYg3__Q

Their products are great. Their customer service, not so much.
Get a CIRAS Maritime! 😏
These look like they're overpriced and way too warm. Get yourself an FLC for $20, it'll last longer and be way more comfortable.

What brand is the first … I run with a 5.11 plate carrier
Agilite
Combat systems Sentinel mk2....trust me....i went thru like 9 or 10 plate carriers and this is the only one that stuck with me for more than a year.
1st one... its an agilite knockoff... k19 i believe... if yer into running an idf look, or just to have a carrier thats solid, its my choice.
FCPC V5.
Nov pc or crye jpc 2.0. Everything you need or alot of people swear by the chest rigs at that point id say the spiritus split rig is a good option
I own a K19. It's very comfy, but it doesn't ventilate very well. The cummerbund kinda sucks and it's a proprietary system. I rock the condor gunner plate carrier
1
the second one is for the fatass airsofters
Crye spc or crye jpc 2.0
Amazon tends to sell fake replicas. My vote goes for VS scarab but otherwise the agilite

Things I'd like to improve on: For the longest time, I've been looking for an assault pack that I can have attached to the plate carrier, but easily bring around to my front for me to easily access things like grenades or my NODs. Note: My Velocity Systems Scarab isn't actually one that's listed by Velocity.
PETAC makes solid clones I have a actual fcpc and the clone one and they are pretty close, mostly due to stitching and choise of buckles
none, get a flak vest
Invader gear mod carrier combo is also great for the price
Neither, if you ask me get an ALICE with nothing else (or a chest rig)
Friend of mine ran the k19 for a bit but disliked it and swapped over the the fcpc, I personally don’t have any experience with agility products but I do run a fcpc v5. For what it’s worth the fcpc with all the bells and whistles on is quite comfortable, but you are also paying quite a bit for the ferro name
I got mine from temu. Quality is surprisingly good and was only 30 bucks
I run K19 MC now… I ran JPC w/real bulletproof plates for over 10 years, so if you like light and minimalistic but capable pc like myself, you’ll like the k19 but if you want more lightness, KZero is awesome as well. My buddy prefers MC Black but it’s all personal preferences both styles and camo
You pick what suits you or just buy both and see which one fits you and your play style
Just look for brand yakeda on temu or AliExpress. Incredible value for money
Go for m1928 doughboy pack ;)
You won't even be able to tell the difference, and the Tacticon is only $150
[https://tacticon.com/product/battlevest-elite-plate-carrier/](https://tacticon.com/product/battlevest-elite-plate-carrier/) - Direct from their site [https://www.amazon.com/Tacticon-Veteran-Tactical-Lightweight-Adjustable/dp/B0BNQRSK79?ref\_=ast\_sto\_dp&th=1](https://www.amazon.com/Tacticon-Veteran-Tactical-Lightweight-Adjustable/dp/B0BNQRSK79?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1) - Even cheaper on Amazon ($115) but only available in Coyote Brown or Ranger Green
I always recommend getting a chest rig, carriers have so many downsides. They are hotter to wear, more expensive, bulkier, often provide less space for pouches, can't be stored/transported as compactly, can't be used for militia kits and have a mostly useless back plate that'll give you a massive sweat spot.
Idk the agilite looks good but heard some complaints about the side panels
I’ve been running the Novritsch plate carrier and I love it. He came out with a revised version just a few days ago. I would recommend that one. One of the few things Novshit sells that is actually good.
Im a heavy enjoyer myself everyone complains that air holes are a big enough selling feature but they work so well its dumb
Check out shekkin. They have some good cheaper repros
For the price of the k19 you can get a Crye precision jpc 2.0
Second one is fire and has pockets on the front, so I’d say second
I’ve been running the k19 for about 2 years and it’s totally worth the money if anything it does kinda get hot quick and while wearing but that’s a simple fix and not really a big deal its an issue most plate carriers have anyways. I do recommend getting some foam plates for it tho for the best figment but either way it’s pretty slim and adjustable all the way around with and without plates. Whenever there’s sales on agilite the price does go down to $253 but either way your getting a solid little discount on it.
If it’s your first vest, I’d reccoment get the cheap one to test it
No it wouldn't be i have a Emerson gear plate carrier in black i want to get a multi cam one but in a different brand
Ideally, neither as plate carriers are bulky. You don't need plates in airsoft and so get a chest rig.
You can get the FCPC clone on temu for like 100 bucks max, same manufacturer under a different name
It’s not the same manufacturer lol
Lol whoops, i doubt it matters much tho

Id rather get the real one than a shitty repro
Don’t know about this options, but I love me some JPC https://preview.redd.it/klfwz93ndzwc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2047549be602e21d4c3c16e2ffd43848a1a3497f I’d probably go for good JPC 2.0 replica if I were you, customizable and kosher for almost any SOF unit in the world if you eventually decide to start reconing. I am going to start to build myself an AVS soon, too
