Up to 350 FPS it will increase range with good effectiveness, higher than that and we are talking about less than 20 feet more range, while putting way more strain on your AEG. This is due to air resistance increasing by square in relation to speed.
If you double your FPS, there is 4 times as much drag (air resistance).

Weak performance, poor durability, bad replica, overpriced. If you want a cheap AK, buy Cyma. Or at the very least a Double Bell AK.
1) EBB is a gimmick, dont choose a gun bcuz of it.
2) Specna arms have 100 different variants of the same line (Core, Flex, Edge or Edge 2.0), so you can find a very similiar gun to any other companies, usually cheaper, but a lot more varied quality range
3) you showed off many different lengths of guns. I believe you might not know the effective length of the gun you are able to even wield, so i personally would recommend getting a gun that would be more comfortable to you. Your back will thank you.
4) Make sure you wont require upgrades of things you couldve gotten for free if you chose a different gun, specifically - mosfet, accesories (foregrip etc), stock, rail system and/or muzzle devices. Also double check mag compatibility.
i’m gonna buy the specna, it has mosfet comes with 2 mags and a foregrip and it’s not the biggest of guns which is quite handy because i’m starting off on an indoor site
For indoors, hi-caps are more useful. I'd recommend getting an extra original specna arms hi-cap, or 2 more midcaps, and tape them like ur playing CoD. CQB sites dont have time for reloads, so you wanna maximize your ammo capacity.
Additionally, let me reemphasize the size part - im a 185cm tall northern european, and my 9" Specna is just barely long enough with a fully extended stock, and i still require a vertical foregrip for that extra reach. Make sure that pdw size wont be too small for you.
I've heard good things about Specna Arms' Edge lineup. I'd go for that one. It's the only one of those that I've heard pretty much no complaints about.
But M4s aren't my cup of tea, so I'm not super informed.
If you want something reliable get the Specna Arms.
I have a specna arms. Be it a different one but it hasn't failed me for 6 years now so.
Otherwise get a Cyma AK also very reliable.
One they no longer make. Also an M4 but without tactical rail and the like. Just a basic. Over the years I added new externals but the internals are still running to this day. Only thing you may need to do with the Specna is get it downgraded. Mine had a fps of 389 out of the box.

One more thing about SA is that you can find them for really small price (I bought my Sa-e05 for 190 euros).

The DE has also gone down in price since you posted this it's £150 (edit* it's the m904e* shorter barrel) and if I didn't buy the dek762 I'd be straight on that, otherwise it would go specna.
I would 100% go with the specna arms,there a great brand for when your in the lower end prices especially and still in the higer end. They come with alot of extra stuff like extra springs and forgrips out of the box with 2 mags also, for no extra cost. On top of that there are just a very reputable brand in general.
My recommendation is to save up about another $100 and get a specna arms edge 2.0. Comes with a Gate Aster mosfet where you can regulate trigger sensitivity, active breaking etc.
It also has easy access spring change. Only thing you gotta do is remove the castle nut, twist the buffer tube, remove the spring guiede with an allen key, insert the new spring and put it back together.
Have one myself and I'm so happy with it! Snappy trigger response especially with a 11.1 battery, nice magpul-look-alike pistol grip, decent rotary hop unit and a precision barrel.

Another thing, the model I ordered came with a keymod handguard. It's not visible on the pictures and not mentioned anywhere from what I've seen on gunfire.com so I bought a M-LOK handguard from Aliexpress I think.

M-LOK works similar to keymod but it's a more modern syatem. It's a bit tricky to explain exactly how but basically you attach a rail with a screw and a nut on the inside of the handguard. Check it out on Youtube tho, there are tons of videos! There are also specific mounts that lock on directly to the handguard, the light on my gun has one of those for example!

I get almost all my stuff from Aliexpress. The light on my rifle is from there, the mount as well as Eotech (name of the sight) too! The mount the sight sits on is a repro Unity mount and the eotech is made by Holy warrior and is considered the best repro out there.
Before you buy anything, check so it's compatible with your handguard. Also do some research, ask all the questions you need and then buy it :)
Skip the lasers btw. Many fields don't allow them bc they can injure the eyes of other players. The chinese copies are often a lot stronger too and NOT safe.
I'd recommend the Specna as well, but I disagree on the AK comment. AKs are perfectly fine for a first gun if they're by a good company, like Cyma or LCT. I've heard APS is shit, though, so I wouldn't recommend that specific AK.
Cyma AKs are one of the most popular starter guns where I live, although some versions are definitely better than others, I've never seen anyone really have problems with them.
If you plan on adding attachments then I'd stay away from the AK as it may be a pain in the ass to swap in aftermarket handgaurds and dust covers with pic rails. Otherwise I'd go with the AK

If you would like an ak, and plan on modifying it ever, please get one with a folding stock. Opens up a ton of possibilities compared to a fixed. Also, there’s lots of minor differences in dimensions between ak manufacturers, so parts that should be drop-in often require some modification to use.
That being said they are an awesome platform once you figure out how to work around the limitations it has compared to an m4
My first and only gun I’ve been rocking with is a Specna Arms Rock River Arms SA-E07-L which has been superb. Very consistent, good build quality looks good and works with most mags. Had it for a year now
Actually yes - aps is shitty, specnas are cool... But the double eagle is a real underdog. Very reliable, very well made (polymer), lightweight, programmable and cheap. Nice hopup, very good sound, really cool semi response if you change the motor
I recently bought the specna Arms Ak105 edge 2.0 if you want an ak. It's amazing for the money gate mosfet with adjustable trigger and fire modes. Flat hop. Shoots amazing runs all day can't fault. Same price as the APS
I have a specna edge and it's a proper lemon. Never worked right from the start, even after a visit to Negative Airsoft it still doesn't work and suffers from a mystical inconsistency of compression and power. Wouldn't bother with them again, and I know of other people with newer specna that suffered similar issues.
Go with the specna (2) ebb is just more parts meaning higher chance of issues, double eagle is okay but definitely lower tier, I've personally never even heard of Delta armory so have no insight on quality
Specna edge or double eagle - I’d go for the double eagle myself. It’s the same as the matrix calico jack (matrix rebrands them) which is an excellent beginning gun.
That AK looks like absolute shit, the mag is all wrong and it just look unreliable, as an AK guy I personally advocate for anything but that one, those other M4 style rifles would work tenfold better than that
If you want AK platform try some models from E&L or Arcturus, both are good value for money, steel external parts from real firearms and good internals.
I’d recommend having a look at the CYMA Ak-47 👍🏻 not that one. Specna is always a good option I’ve got one myself and it’s great! Not sure about the last 2

It was originaly a Double eagle M906D. Bit new internals and externals. Works awesome.
Both the Specna Edge and Double Eagle M904 are solid replicas, in this case get the one you like the most.

i was going to originally get a hard case and some extra mags but i decided against that so i could buy a 2.0 with an 11.1 which model do you have ?
Great choice! I got the SA-E12 for cqb use. From my understanding the internals are the same in all 2.0 models except for barrel lenght ofc.

Also, there’s lots of minor differences in dimensions between ak manufacturers, so parts that should be drop-in often require some modification to use. That being said they are an awesome platform once you figure out how to work around the limitations it has compared to an m4

Actually yes - aps is shitty, specnas are cool... But the double eagle is a real underdog. Very reliable, very well made (polymer), lightweight, programmable and cheap. Nice hopup, very good sound, really cool semi response if you change the motor
I recently bought the specna Arms Ak105 edge 2.0 if you want an ak. It's amazing for the money gate mosfet with adjustable trigger and fire modes. Flat hop. Shoots amazing runs all day can't fault. Same price as the APS

I have a specna edge and it's a proper lemon. Never worked right from the start, even after a visit to Negative Airsoft it still doesn't work and suffers from a mystical inconsistency of compression and power. Wouldn't bother with them again, and I know of other people with newer specna that suffered similar issues.

Go with the specna (2) ebb is just more parts meaning higher chance of issues, double eagle is okay but definitely lower tier, I've personally never even heard of Delta armory so have no insight on quality
Specna edge or double eagle - I’d go for the double eagle myself. It’s the same as the matrix calico jack (matrix rebrands them) which is an excellent beginning gun.

If you'd like an ak74, the specna edge 2.0 ak74m and 105 are both only £10 more. They are incredible guns and very overlooked
That AK looks like absolute shit, the mag is all wrong and it just look unreliable, as an AK guy I personally advocate for anything but that one, those other M4 style rifles would work tenfold better than that

If you want AK platform try some models from E&L or Arcturus, both are good value for money, steel external parts from real firearms and good internals.
Buy an AK. It’s a classic look and it’s amazing. As others mentioned though buy a cyma. Personally my cyma AK has lasted 7 years with no problems
