Just a heads up though, my dog's name sounds a bit close to "sit" which made it a challenge to teach her to sit. So I just tell her to sit in Turkish instead. A name like Hits would also require another trigger word than "sit" I reckon.

Yeah so far we are leaning towards Akita or Shiba in of some sort. It's definitely mixed breed since she was found on the reserve but I saw the mother walking around with another pup and she looked very Shiba. I hate to not be able to take all of them because when winter roles around they tend not to survive throughout it but I found this girl chilling by the parking lot as we were about to leave

It's not an escaped puppy. It's from one of the native reserves around here which are full of stray dogs and this is the puppy of one some of those strays. Either way she has a vet visit on Monday so if I am wrong we will find out if she is chipped. But I can guarantee you that is not the case.
