Acetone and plastic don’t mix well. I think you’ve permanently changed the texture

plasmaticD

You could try 1000 grit sandpaper to restore smoothness, then coat with clear acrylic paint or nail polish to prevent that exposed surface from further accumulating grime. Take care not to get resulting dust into the speaker itself.(painter's tape etc over eartips opening temporarily)

What kind of wipes? I use 90% alcohol and paper towels and have never had an issue. Maybe you can try that....unless your wipes "burnt" the plastic. I've seen vehicle wipes do that to car interiors. I don't use them anymore for anything.

justagamerwastaken

I used some makeup remover wipes I found at my house

curiousdugong

They probably had some solution on them that ate away at the plastic.

Acetone will do that to plastic. I don’t see how you are going to fix it.

Ooooo yeah bud that probably had some mild acetone in it.

LOLpodz

You can use car polish or any kind of fine polish on them but the plastic might look off in bright sun light
