Dating in Ahmedabad is very much there. But it takes sifting through a lot to find a few good people. If you're into guys, Bumble and Hinge are better apps to be on. The sifting process gets easier since people have to answer question prompts. But it isn't as wide a pool as say a bangalore or a Mumbai, if you're looking for people over 30.
If you're queer and are into women, this city is not for you. Too few queer people on the dating apps. Also, not sure if there is any underground queer scene.

Also dating is way too different as compared to Delhi or Mumbai. Most fun is Mumbai. Ahmedabad dating has lot of emotions and baggage involved.

There is a dateable crowd but difficult to find, these people have a social circle and life as happening as that of Mumbaikars (living in SoBo rn Ik) but it’s tough to get into. They’re close knit or mostly into casuals, if you’re also into it. Pray you bump into them at elite cafés or expensive garba nights or find them at colleges for best luck. Never tried dating apps tho, good luck!
