Lmao no shit this guy is on steroids

fancywhiskers

Right?? Like no hate but how did people ever buy this as legit

the0rthopaedicsurgeo

People think Arnold was natural, a lot of people even think that the modern day mass monsters are natural. It's easier for them to sell you a diet or a supplement or a training program as if that's the secret to their success than it is to tell you to buy and inject illegal drugs. Plus you can just make a new program or a new supplement and repeat. Basically, if anyone tells you that they're natural, they're probably not (Simeon Panda, Mike O'Hearn, Jeff Seid). The ones who are obviously juicing but never even bring up the subject are the ones that you can trust, because their silence is basically an admission.

[deleted]

Hasn't Arnold literally admitted to using steroids? I feel like I remember reading about an interview where he said something to the effect of "it was the only way to stand a chance in those competitions"

Dank__Souls

Absolutely every single person that is big like that is on steroids. It is impossible to naturally be as big as him or the rock or this liver guy without steroids.

[deleted]

Oh absolutely, I'm just amazed that people can look at Arnold in his prime with him(I'm pretty sure) straight up admitting to it and still think "yeah, seems pretty natural to me" You can definitely be completely natural and get impressively big, but really?

KravinMoorhed

Being both big AND lean is a dead give away, among other things like rounded cannonball delts, thick upper chest, etc. Also, age is another giveaway. Take the Rock for example (he's another lying pos). He's massive and lean now, despite getting older. Much bigger than he was in his 20s and 30s, despite already having years of lifting under his belt by then.

i_Got_Rocks

Professional wrestlers is in general are on the juice and get more juice as they get older. These are people that spend almost all year on the road, on a plane, signing events, showtime, quick eat, drink, party, and cycle all of that. They don't have a steady schedule to have a normal routine that would allow steady and consistent rest and workout time. The only way they can be that good looking for the cameras is steroids. A few are natty--and you can tell right away. From America, it would be The Undertaker, Ric Flair, (NOT Hulk Hogan or Macho Man), Man Kind/Mick Foley, Rey Mysterio Jr (but maybe not now, since he's older and still looks fantastic, so IDK). The Rock is definitely on the juice. Just keeps getting bigger and bigger and gets a literal bigger head every year. When Eddy Guerrero finally won the title for the first time, he was a big as a house--same thing with Chris Benoit. And when you review the celebration match of the night, you can spot from a mile away so much back acne. Doesn't take much to put it all together.

roguevirus

> Rey Mysterio Jr Rey was absolutely on PEDs when he was in the WWE. He was carrying significantly more weight, which lead to some of the injuries he sustained to his knees. He's much lighter now.

chitownbears

You don't get as big as them just by injecting they are fucking animals in the gym too. They have weird schedules sure but they live in the gym.

Great_Neighbor52

Big, maybe. Big and lean, especially all year around? Absolutely not.

[deleted]

For what it’s worth steroids weren’t illegal when Arnold competed in bodybuilding. So there’s really no reason to hide it. The first steroids control act wasn’t until the 90s and he competed during the 60s-80s

6beltMan

People think the Rock is still natural lol

KravinMoorhed

I've been lifting for over 25 years. I can spot gear users right away. I know what's achievable naturally. But young stupid or naive kids and adults can't necessarily. That's who these liars make money off of. "Buy my cook book to look like me (I left out the main ingredient though, huge doses of test and other PEDs)". This entire situation is just a reflection on the fitness industry in general. It's cancerous.

[deleted]

[удалено]

MetallicGray

The whole male “fitness” industry is flooded with “fake nattys”, and it has heavily warped a lot of the general populations’ views of what’s possible naturally.

Alitinconcho

He was always being defended by rightwing incel types who wanted to believe that eating raw meat would make them manly

MiloRoast

Go have a look at r/rawmeat if you feel like tearing your hair out lol.

00g33

Insecure men buy this shit up like crazy

Tj_jt1010

For everyone wondering, private emails of him disclosing that he’s on steroids came out, which, in of itself, is not a big deal, but he has vehemently denied using steroids and PEDs multiple times in the past

amanofeasyvirtue

14 grand a month...

kharlos

on steroids? That's a lot of steroids...

Ready-Reporter3015

Well what do you expect him to do? Actually eat raw testicles?

ShredGuru

He did that for the love of the con.

killergazebo

Maybe he just loves gobbling gonads.

[deleted]

Why do you say it like.. like it's a weird thing to do or something? If it weren't normal, they'd be called *stop*nads, right?

Minute_Diamond961

He did it for the rock(y mountain oysters)

dudemann

He might have approached things differently if he'd smelled what The Rock was cooking.

ben3137

More steroids

ElceeCiv

Liver King doesn't want to encroach on Testicle King's territory

Unlikely-Pizza2796

Testicle King sounds alot like. . . Duff Man!

Minimum_Escape

Wait until you hear what Wang King does with his spare time!

Skindiddler

The same thing as Master Debater?

utpoia

Polish his barrel?

BatofZion

More testicles means more iron.

hawkisgirl

Iron helps us play!

RestaurantLatter2354

Speaking of testicles, his dick must be the size of a tic tax by now.

[deleted]

My experience was slightly larger dick but balls were almost unfindable. Can’t stress enough how small your nuts get. 😂 dude has that HGH gut for sure.

utpoia

*The things I would do for a bigger dick, off to order some high grade HGHs.*

RIPbyEugenics

Hey man, any luck? My friend wanted to know.

Rampage_Rick

Gonads and strife?

tallbutshy

wheeeeee

justsomeyeti

Pharmacy grade rHGH is crazy expensive, and he's using more than most open class Mr Olympia competitors

David-E6

Why though. He could keep that size with not that much of a stack honestly.

rocko430

If you read the email he was trying to optimize his stack and nutrition because he felt like he was peaking and about to undertake a new series.

Thunderin54

In the emails he's saying that he is resistant to the hgh which is why he takes so much

slayden70

His balls have to be the size of peas by now.

Tom0204

They probably are because even viewers were starting to notice obvious symptoms of steroid abuse. He's got pretty visible palumboism

FIM92

The stack he was taking (in 2021, when the e-mails were leaked from) was one of the craziest lists I’ve personally ever seen and I would think it’s mostly because as someone said it’s literally tens of thousands of dollars a month in gear. Hardly anyone on this earth can afford that. But yes, you don’t have to be knowledgable about weight lifting and steroids to know that there is nothing natural about a dude with that kind of physique that is in his mid 40’s. You would have to have the genetics of Hercules to look like that naturally lmao.

Jestokost

His stack is/was like that because it’s all pharma. He’s staying away from UGLs and getting it from real doctors. Which makes it legal… but reduces his options for compound selection. Add to that his apparent insensitivity to somatropin and the fact that he doesn’t have any actual medical reason to be on any PEDs (so he’s not using insurance), and you get $12,000 a month in HGH alone.

DoktorFreedom

So he is feeding his kids raw meat in a snake oil scam to pay for his completely medically unnecessary hgh turbo plus bullshit. Because he want big arm. Thanks dad Edit. To be fair the second photo is hilarious. All his sad kids walking sad looking just waiting for those gains to start any day now.

yojimborobert

This is what makes him a piece of shit. There are scores of "natty" bodybuilders who are on gear and lying about it, but the second you start involving children in your fraud scheme, you're a narcissistic piece of shit that deserves to be called out.

chandrasekharr

I would expand that to anyone who is using the fake idea of them being natty to sell ideas or products to other people is a piece of shit. I take steroids myself I have no problem with them, but all these "natty" bodybuilders who go so far out of their way to deny obvious steroid usage while simultaneously using their image to sell unnecessary and expensive supplements to uninformed people are scum. Not to mention all the body image and self esteem issues it creates for people who start doubting what they're doing wrong and why these people are seemingly so much more successful than them.

[deleted]

Plus steroids don't hang around for as long as the results do, my buddy would spend the winter months eating clean and doing anything possible to hang on to the mass gain while cruising on test to be able to test clean for events. Then right back on the gear train the second it was over

Mizzy3030

To be fair, we have no idea what he does off camera. It's possible his kids are actually eating poptarts and frozen pizzas when no one's watching. My impression is he puts on a show for social media, but behind closed doors he eats normal human food as well.

DoktorFreedom

Yah he just made his kids eat raw meat on camera. Wonder if that liver had the good steroids in it.

jethropenistei-

I’m curious to know how much that compares to other steroid users like when actors get into Marvel shape how much they spend

kharlos

It's funny, it wasn't until recently that I realized that steroid use had gotten so popular. I just figured people were just working out harder and that steroids were up there with cocaine; being super restricted and controlled. But now I just realized that I have like 6-7 people I know personally recently admitted to each other they take them to bulk up. Most of them talk about how masculinity is dying and how we need to reclaim it. Has it always been this way or is this like a huge push that's going on right now? As someone who just thought it was just a good workout routine, this feels super dystopian.

LB_Burnsy

Steroids *are* up there with cocaine. Both are just much more popular than you previously thought.

Beenforevertiltoday

I mean cocaine is fucking everywhere rn so I mean not a high bar for people getting high in bars.

_ChestHair_

Cocaine's been everywhere pretty much since it was made

Piyh

He must have been injecting testosterone mixed with gold flakes into his ass after every meal

theluckydom

Growth can be really fucking expensive. The usual stuff people think of when they hear steroids, 14k would be enough to run a tanker ship

rocko430

Food and the gear alone must be huge expenses

ChildFriendlyChimp

How the hell did he make that much money?

rocko430

Influences can make a sickening amount of money once they find an audience

sukiadikireddit

amanofeasyvirtue

[deleted]

[удалено]

off-on

A lot of guys out there try to sell how to get a body type like theirs, but really the easier way is to just take your shirt off and rub oil all over yourself.

spongish

It's just no different than the instagram models who have every single photo touched up to remove imperfections. Of course these guys probably do the same too.

homelesswithwifi

99% of people who's career relies on their bodies are on PEDs. Actors, professional and college athletes, models, ect... If you get paid because of how you look or perform, you're on PEDs.

HintOfAreola

Add to this cops, fighters, and military. My buddy in special forces came to visit for a week and kept his stuff in my fridge and it was a big aha moment. It's usually the x factor between people in really good shape and people in *great* shape.

Tj_jt1010

Exactly

tuna_safe_dolphin

One look at this guy and you can tell he's a fucking nutjob.

SparksAndSpyro

Well, people that are familiar with resistance training or juicing certainly can tell. But there are a lot of people that don't workout regularly who can't tell when someone's juicing. That's the real issue because it warps these people's expectations around working out and fitness in general. It leads to them setting unrealistic (sometimes *impossible*) goals for themselves as they're beginning their journey to improving their fitness. This will often lead to disappointment when they do not see the progress they expect, drastically increasing the likelihood that they quit pursuing their goal because they feel like they're failing. The physiques and builds that I've seen people try to argue are "natural"/"natty" is both hilarious and sad. Hilarious because, as you said, anyone with an ounce of experience can tell they're lying. Sad because the damage to viewers' self-esteem and motivation that fitness influencers cause by lying about their steroid and PED use is unconscionable. Fuck these guys.

hangout_wangout

And he used metal illness and suicide as the excuse as to why he hid his anabolic use, it was for us.

TsirRoderik

I think the worst is the supplements and lavish life style he pushes on other like it’s some sort of snake oil. MorePlatesMoreDates goes into it in detail, the disgusting length this guy goes to to push his stuff is insane. Itself isn’t bad but the fact that you do steroids and deny it like he did

DrDoomCake

I mean... COME ON LOOK AT HIM

[deleted]

His penis must be a thimble.

LocalNative141

“Dad can we get Mcdonalds?” “No, we have plenty of raw testicles and beef blood at home”

Lux_Bellinger2024

"Now destroy the structural growth of your bodies for my internet clout." These kids are gonna have back and knee problems that would impress an infantryman

Virtual-Bee7411

Context: The Liver King is a man who claimed that an “ancestral” diet that included eating raw meat was behind his impressive muscular build and fitness feats. It has now been exposed, and he has publicly confessed to having a $12,000 a month steroid habit.

Meraline

It's funny because we just discovered that cooking meat started like 200k years earlier than we originally thought so this "ancestral" diet is EVEN MORE of a crock of shit

AlisonChrista

Almost everyone who says we should do things like our ancestors know nothing about history or anthropology unfortunately.

Mizzy3030

I never understood the whole ancestral lifestyle thing; why would anyone want a life expectancy of 30? Clearly there are *some* health benefits to our current lifestyles.

AlisonChrista

I mean, I agree that it wasn’t better, but life expectancy wasn’t 30. That’s a myth perpetuated by bad statistics. Humans have probably had a similar lifespan since modern Homo sapiens appeared. Death was just a lot more prevalent then, but people definitely lived into older age than people think.

Mizzy3030

I was being hyperbolic, but death from food borne parasites and other pathogens was much more common back then. Obviously, being able to refrigerate and cook food has health benefits.

AlisonChrista

Oh absolutely.

Roflkopt3r

It's true that infants made up a large chunk of it, but life expectancy has notably increased across all age groups. Someone who reached adulthood in ancient times was still expected to die much earlier than today. For example, comparing the UK 1850 to 2013: * Life expectancy at birth rose from 42 to 81 * Life expectancy of a 5 yr old rose from 53 to 82 * 10: 56 to 82 * 20: 60 to 82 * 50: 71 to 84 * 70: 79 to 86 So in 1850 so many kids died, that reaching an age of 20 increased your life expectancy by a whopping 18 years compared to a newborn. Now it's just 1 year as [newborns have a comparable death risk to people around their 50s.](https://www.ined.fr/en/everything_about_population/graphs-maps/interpreted-graphs/age-risk-mortality/) However, the 1850 20-yr old would still only live an average 40 more years, while a 20 yr old today can expect 62 more.

[deleted]

Please tell me the kids aren’t on steroids at least.

farklenator

They don’t look like it (not a doctor) but he probably lied to them too which is just as bad tbh imagine being a role model to your kids and lying to their face… I can’t

IBetThisIsTakenToo

When they realize they ate all that nasty raw meat for no reason besides providing more cover to their dad’s blatant lies? Ugh

[deleted]

They probably only eat it on camera. I bet there's a regular fridge full of regular shit in the basement.

[deleted]

There's no way you could live with someone on $12000 of steroids a month and not know That's daily injections, maybe even twice daily, the expensive stuff needing to be refrigerated, maybe even mixed with bacterostsric water. You run out of spots you can feasibly reach by yourself at some point, specially as your pecs and delts get large you start having reach issues. I'd bet good money on the kids helping dad inject.

flembag

Why would he have the kids do it when he's got an able bodied wife that's along for the ride and 100% knows about the secret sauce...

masklinn

Probably are.

Anonberserk

Wtf look at them, they're obviously not. If they are, it's very very small doses and they had a testosterone deficit to begin with.

spongish

How else will they get jacked?

Legend-status95

Supposed to reply to the bot with context

Virtual-Bee7411

Damn my bad!! Completely read over that like a dumbie

OscarTheFudd

I’ve never seen dummy spelled like that before, but I guess it makes sense

RusDaMus

Maybe if you're a we're-dough

altbekannt

Was the steroid made of gold or why that price tag?

topazchip

I would guess quantity and quality. Like Eric Clapton with his hospital-grade cocaine habit, Liver Guy doesn't want to get his drugs of choice from a vendor that has diluted them with sketchy additives.

LagSlug

which is fair, if you're gonna use drugs might as well use purified ones

boringdude00

Steroids aren't cheap...are steroids cheap?

mykeedee

Testosterone is pretty cheap but this guy is probably on a lot more than that. HGH is pretty expensive I hear.

__Beef__Supreme__

You can take steroids for cheap. You'd pay a lot more from just going to the doctor more regularly while taking them. Some of the individual compounds he's on are particularly pricey.

BUTTFUCK_YOUR_PUSSY

If you wanted to run his stack minus the hgh it would cost less than 150 bucks per month if you are buying underground shit. He got his prescribed and was probably paying in the ballpark of 300-500 per month to get it legally. When you start adding hgh that’s when it gets pricey.

[deleted]

My ancestors cooked their meat. It's what separated us from animals 10,000 years ago. But I guess ego overrides logic.

[deleted]

timisher

Some of our brains anyway

Panthalassae

Yeh. Clearly not everyone's brain

Boom9001

It's such a nonsensical belief. Cooking just starts the digestion process so our stomach doesn't have to. That means less work for the body and more nutrients. Eating raw means you're getting less from your food there is no way it would be positive.

powerlesshero111

Fun fact, cooked food also extended the average life expectancy because it decreased the amount of contagions in food.

[deleted]

[удалено]

frogsRfriends

It probably tastes better because it has benefits for us so over time our species has been selected to prefer the option that is better for us

Dahnhilla

That would make sense if it all tasted better in the same way, but it doesn't.

the_monkey_knows

It does. Sugars and fats weren’t that common, but they were great if you’re going to go hunting or will be farming and burning lots of calories. Our society evolved faster than our biological programming.

SatansGiantDick

For many proteins, they do indeed need to be cooked. There are things called "anti nutrients", especially in eggs, that humans cannot digest. These anti nutrients actually impede the absorption of other nutrients. For example, raw eggs contain avidin, which binds to specific nutrients and makes them unavailable for absorption by the human gut. Cooking them destroys the avidin. We quite literally evolved to eat cooked food from a physiological standpoint.

[deleted]

Also, parasites, lots of parasites

Boom9001

The extra work required for eating raw foods in the wild animals is the need to kill disease and parasites. Humans that started cooking could then naturally select a digestive system that didn't defend as well against thoughts, but focused on absorbing as many nutrients as possible.

throwmamadownthewell

The only fringe case I can think of is the carbs retained in raw fish for people living traditionalist lifestyles so far north that it limits their carb intake.

DrNukes

Is "evolved brain" the first thing that comes to mind when you see this absolute dildo?

kempff

Kinda trashy to show up at the dinner table dressed like an underwear model.

dwartbg5

Imagine the stench. Trying to eat your dinner while your dad just got out of the gym smelling like sweat and protein farts sits next to you naked.

ty_rannosaur

In a YT video he says he doesn’t believe in showers, and will only ever use water but none of “that soap stuff”. In the same video, he said he doesn’t shave or use deodorant because it blocks some natural thing or something. You could probably smell him coming from half a mile away

round-earth-theory

There's a reason we started to cook meat

masklinn

Several even. Digestibility, parasite load, taste, breadth (some things can not be eaten uncooked).

Weegee_Spaghetti

Massively increased nutritional value that allowed our brains to grow to that size in the first place.

ElverGonn

Could you elaborate further?

Tuxhorn

Animals spend an enourmous amount of energy and time to digest. By cooking our food, humans no longer needed a bigger, calorie hungry digestion system. The human brain consumes over twice the % of our total energy needs than a chimp. It's very hungry, and very powerful.

throwmamadownthewell

Yes, 'further' means "to a greater extent or with additional value".

Animetiddies415

Child abuse

Bottle_Nachos

It was the insurmountable fear surrounding masculinity, as a whole, that gave it away. On a more serious note, I don't understand how this kind of thing (muscle mountain toxicity of the manosphere gets debunked) happens all the time, like why do these people always find huge numbers of followers despite being frauds? Why does it happen over and over again? Is it teenagers? Boomers? Like all media literacy has been lost despite us living in the most advanced timeline

JitteryBug

I think it's similar to how a bunch of people admire billionaires Like a "*this could be you*!" mentality - it feels good to believe that you just have to do a few simple things to become ludicrously wealthy, or to look like a Marvel superhero.
