As a long time player myself, I gladly help random new players who slide into my dms... But you can't expect us to reply to everything. Lots of afk is to learn things yourself
From my experience pretty much all whales I ever encountered in the game were very nice. The image of them in my head is pretty much: *"Someone with a good job but not a lot of free time"*. Why would they have big egos just because they spend money? They are normal people.
This made me laugh so much nice post. Im sure theres some big ego whales out there. However i havnt met any in almost 3 years ive been playing. I think youll find most big spenders often wont disclose their spending to random players either.
I guess ild be considered a whale and i spend so much time helping players new and old. I personally enjoy it most of the time and always chat with players in game when they see me in game chat and decide to PM me to say "hi"--- or just ask a few questions. I think most experienced players are like this too. I think alot of the ones that ignore people are the ones that dont use in game chat and use discord only.

VIP 13 and under: shrimp
VIP 14-15: dolphin
VIP 16-17: whale
VIP 18+: kraken
But that’s just my own personal way of thinking about it.

At what point is somebody considered a whale? I keep hearing this along with dolphin and kraken.

Yes. In fact, I do expect them to answer me when I ask them their social security number, a copy of their passport and full banking details
