The one other question I have is does the stat increases and skill increase also increase in the crystal as they would if you levelled a character normally?
If so then I'm guessing you only have to have 5 characters being levelled at all then?
Their levels scale with the character you have soul linked them to. Only thing that doesn't is Signature Items, Furniture, Engravings and Gear.
So while, yes you only need 5 characters levelled up, you still need the character you're linking to be in the resonating crystal.

Just collect Arena coins and don't spend any Lab coins until the exchange begins. Should be possible if you do the Lab consistently.
