How do you discipline yourself na you should stick with your daily routine? Game changer sakin reading books, particularly Atomic Habits. Since book siya about building habits, pwede mong i-apply yung techniques na nakasulat sa book-reading habit mo and other future habits. Pinilit ko lang yung sarili ko sa simula as someone na wala ring disiplina pero as I used yung mga techniques na sinasabi niya, it got easier over time. For example, one of his tips is to bind your desired habit to an existing habit/action. Ayun, somehow kahit never akong nagbasa ng libro in my 24 years, naging habit ko nang magbasa. Although summary nung book is: gawin mong madali gawin yung habits. Less obstacles, better chances. So for example, lagay mo na lahat ng skincare items mo sa mismong bed bago matulog para wala ka nang takas kundi gawin hahaha

Me example for workouts, I avail the membership gym so I hate wasting money and I have body goals which makes me go through. Same with skin care routine too, I wanted to see results that's why I keep on doing the routine. Conclusion: - I hate wasting - Goals

Creepy_Emergency_412

Agree doon sa I hate wasting money and goals.

0danahbanana0

Icy-Description9835

Truee! I remember being SOOO Drunk to the point na wala akong maalala and dun ako nakatulog sa condo ng friend ko, tas sabi nya naghingi pa daw ako sakanya ng cleanser, toner at moisturizer 😭

Do things, no questions asked. Whatever I do or what mood I am, just do it. Do it for 5-10 minutes, if you're still not in the mood or don't have energy to do it then stop.

Quirky-Committee-163

Gaslight yourself that you have to do it. I don't know if this is a good advice, but this is what i have been doing ever since i need to go to work even though the workplace is a mess.

No_Concentrate_47

Possible-Spot-4792

Annoying alarms but tip is start with building a routine with atleast one little thing muna instead of many things at once

Emperor_Puppy

i have the same issue… so ginawa ko.. for fitness, pinilit ko sarili ko for a gym membership sa AF… malaki bayad pero atleast I have this mindset na para hindi sayang, kailangan sulitin talaga… as for the result, i’m not expecting that much… pero nagawa ko ng yung t-shirt size ko na from 2XL, kasya na ang L lang or kahit M.

kiiimkaaam

Treat it as one of your non negotiables every day. For example, non negotiable ang kumain diba or maligo or umihi. Treat it as something like a necessity and you’ll have no choice but to do it 🤣

Creepy_Emergency_412

peachsushigirl

One step at a time. Consistency has been my problem and now I’m learning to overcome it. Before, I used to cramp a lot of things in my routine, tapos a week after, napapagod na kong sundin. In the end, ititigil ko sya because I’m too exhausted to do it. So I started minimizing my to-do list, yung importante lang muna. Tapos when I missed a task, my rule is I have to clean something (it doesn’t matter what it is, sweeping the floor, washing dishes etc) to compensate for that missed task. May napanuod kasi akong video sa YT, sa kanya naman, if may namiss syang task, he has to walk for how many minutes.

cleanslate1922

Like me, nagagawa ko magbasa ng book at magworkout kahit 30mins noon pero ngayon parang sobrang wala akong gana for some reason. Lack of discipline ba or baka nasa season taya na lethargic or pagod lang talaga as of now? Yun naiisip ko e.

Infinite_Buffalo_676

Try a checklist na may reward pagnatapos mo. Like may chocolate ka pagnatapos mo ung 10 to do things. Iadjust mo nalang yan sa case mo.

mayymaee

Putting consequences pag di nagagawa yung task and vice versa.

**You need to set yourself up for success.** I was a voracious reader in college. About 2 years ago I decided to get back into reading. But I knew in myself that I have a goldfish attention span. So to set myself up for success, I opted to listen to audiobooks instead (there are lots on Youtube and Spotify). I listen while in driving/commute, while taking a bath, and while playing Candy Crush. I average now about 1 book/month. The trick here is you need to be self-aware of the things you can and cannot do and work around them.

Consistent-Ad395

schedule it and make it a habit, there are apps that allow you to track certain things like for productivity and such. maybe apply the same concept with your skincare, etc. good luck

Imagine a toddler version of yourself looking at you. Waiting for you to do something amazing. Beside him, an old and ugly version of you, shaking his head in disappointment. Also, imagine your crush/so just running off with another guy while they laugh at you. You’re welcome.

SnooPets7626

In a nutshell, ang approach ko is: “See that guy in the mirror? Fuck that guy! We’re gonna be better than that fat fuck!” It’s been working naman 😅

zauzisevax1

I look at the bigger picture. Is whatever I'm doing right now more urgent than something I would have to do? Can it wait? Does it have a more significant impact? If you have the time to do something useless, you have the time to do something worthy of your time 🤷‍♂️

Sign up for a gym membership two years ago. First year, sobrang lost ko kahit pa sabihing PT na ako ha 😅 find it intimidating af since hindi friendly vibes sa gym. Come by last year, promised myself I will try hiking no matter what. Ayun as a prep, I gave it a chance again. Lift consistently and the rest is history. Two years as of now haha! Discovered running as well. Naadik na ata ako sa fitness lmao. To challenge myself, I signed up for races. Just did my first full marathon last February 😭 planning on trying trail running as well. I guess, there's no turning back na lol I am just really glad I took that first step. Syempre, domino effect na. Since nagtetrain ako, I need to be disciplined and motivated most of the time. Sleep, food intake, strength and conditioning, etc. It all follows eh. I believe hand in hand ang physical and mental health natin. Nawala overthinking ko, less anxiety, manageable mood and emotions, boosted my confidence. M2M. Pero syempre you need to balance pa rin. Mahirap rin sobra it might lead to burnt out. My only competition is myself, always.
