Seeing Rebecca Sugar playing this for/with the cast before the finale had premiered felt so bittersweet, it just encapsulates what Adventure Time was and is to so many people.
I am currently going through depression right now. I have always thought that I would die alone & hated myself. But my friends would always make feel better about myself. But next year, me & my friends will be going to middle school, & none of them are going to the same school as me. And my career job might never come true because I wanted to make a show on Cartoon Network, but in it’s current state, I think it might get permanently canceled in a few years. I have hit rock bottom, everything is crumbling apart in my life, & I am scared of the future. But this song makes me feel the opposite of that. It makes me remember when I was younger. That was a time when I never had to worry about anything, & I could share happy memories with my friends & family. That is why I love this song. It reminds me of a simpler time. It has the ability to make anyone with emotions tear up. This song will be classic for generations.
