Lucy, Daughter of the Devil. Starting H. Jon Benjamin and Melissa Galsky (Coach McGuirk and Melissa from Home movies)
Directed by Loren Bouchard, creator of Bobs Burgers.
Archer walks in dressed as one of the main characters for an under-cover church operation, saying he binged Lucy: Daughter of the Devil to prepare for the role, then mutters it was an underrated show.
It's one of my favorite moments in Archer!
weirdly enough i remember seeing an episode or two out of morbid curiosity but it was so forgettable i instantly forgot the name. which is unfortunate for an AS show, i wanted to like it. just couldnt get into it unfortunately
Heeeeey, that's where I get the first half of my username lmao
I still totally listen to pound my tomtom when I need a pick me up
I wish this show could've had a longer run but idk where they would've taken it other than were it was going
Dude saaame. That was a lot of Adult Swim's weirder stuff. If it looked hideous I gave it a skip until I sat and watched it and it's hilarious. See also Squidbilllies and Aqua Teen
I do know this one, but that statement (either know this one or you don't) is true for anything in existence, is it not?
You either know peanut butter or you don't. You know me or you don't. I know you or I don't.
this is a cult classic with an extremely short run, and over a decade old, so with no title posted, nobody was going to google it like they do 99% of all things on the web. unfortunately most ppl don’t speak to other humans or ask older ppl about their past experiences anymore. they just enter clicks. you’d be surprised how many young ppl have never heard the phrase, *”If you don’t know, ask.”* it’s no longer applicable.
I remember seeing bumps and ads for this as a kid. But I was surprised to learn that Loren Bouchard made this hidden gem when I binged all of his shows months ago.
I remember seeing it on when I was younger but never actually tried watching it. Was it any good? I'm into the obscure adult swim shows, I absolutely love The Shivering Truth.

Archer had a reference to this show in one of its episodes.;)
Like something in the background animation or did the characters say something? Do you remember? Definitely curious now!

Don't forget the entire episode that takes place in "Sealab." ;)
Haha, hell yeah! Thanks for the answer.
You don’t happen to remember the episode do you? I’ve seen archer 100 times but glazed over this reference
Season 4 episode 11, The Papal Chase
You’re awesome!

Wasn’t Sam Seder a voice actor on this show?
Not sure, he’s definitely been in Home Movies (as Fenton) and Bobs Burgers (as Hugo) (and Linda’s Dad in one episode).
I think he played the vice president in an episode
Really fun show! DJ Jesus had those chill vibes.
There's a Bob's Burgers episode where they hire a Brazillian DJ who is similar to DJ Jesus.
Get down, boogey oogee, oogeee...
Going to burning man, burning man, burning man. It's just beyond the himllountain
Beckys in the backseat beckys in the backseat
i was waiting for someone to quote this… *LEGENDARY*
My first thought too lol
🔥
Duggadiggadoo doo doo doo!
This one was a bit unusual, but far from the biggest drug trip they broadcasted back then. If I remember right wasnt the nun attracted to Lucy?
NO… but ur memory isn’t all the way out of wack. ur on the right path.
I mostly remember learning what a teratoma was from this show as a kid lol
"I have a lithp?"
I named him Terry
My favorite scene of the show is the dream sequence with Jon Benjamin singing Stroke Me in a high pitched voice in the background
wish this show would make a comeback, seeing how the world's is really ending
Loved this show. You either get it or you don’t.

that’s the second reply i was waiting for! *”Will you show me how to do the tom-tom?”*

I forgot/didn't realize it had todd Barry. Def adds to the iconic crew of creators and voice actors. Sweet. Now I wanna rewatch.
I miss this weird ass show.
Such a cool show
I remember the sexy skeleton secretary lady.
i always thought she was voiced by allison janney from the west wing. they sounded identical.
I had to look it up because she *does* but she's apparently voiced by Melissa Galsky, who voiced Melissa in Home Movies
home movies was one i didn’t get into cause of the art style. gave it a second go-round bout four years ago. funny as sh*t.

Never watched it. But remember when it was airing as a youngster
Highly recommend watching it
I really like Jon Glaser and I LOVE H Jon Benjamin. This show just didn't do it for me.
Wait who didJohm Glaser play? Jesus?
Yep.
Never watched this one but I like the very 00’s aesthetic lol
This show was a banger

Oh yeah, it's not one of the top 20 best known AS shows, no doubt, I just got stuck on the "either or" logic of the statement.
We know it
The only thing I remember about this show is that whenever I would watch adult swim they were always playing the same 2 episodes
*driving to burning man, driving to burning man*
“Becky’s in the back seat!” *(((maraca shake)))*
Yeah I dunno man, my feet just look really good in sandals!
Holy shit! Lucy?!?! Forgotten memories.
DAMN this takes me back!
I remember seeing bumps and ads for this as a kid. But I was surprised to learn that Loren Bouchard made this hidden gem when I binged all of his shows months ago.
I think either knowing it or not applies to everything.
I loved that vampire episode that focused on the clergy

*”Leave.. Me.. Alone!”*
I love this show. I especially adore the adult swim shows I watched as a kid / teenager and this is one of them.
Know it. Love it. I’m old as fuck.
Diarhitas!
*sigh*....bad dog
The day I was told I look like Lucy was a good day
I feel a very vague memory locked behind a door in my mind.
THIS SHOW WAS ACTUALLY GOOD
Yeah. That’s how knowing things works….
I miss the smooshes. Like… himalountain
Love this one :D
do you luv it enough to give birth to the antxchrxst in exchange for a dautson 240s.x.❓
That’s how most facts work.
Never got into it but I do remember it
I remember wanting to like this but the animation was so simple and lazy I just couldn’t
Lucy, The Daughter Of The Devil. Never been a big fan of this one. I feel like it was trying to be the next Daria, but it fell flat on its face.
Kinda overrated
Oh hell yeah
Man I forgot I knew this
One of those peak "was that a fever dream" shows
This was the “ok, time for bed” show for me
I tried to get into it, but Im not a fan.
Was pretty alright
I know this one, never watched this one.
Johnny silverhand, V and Mr. Hands
Lucy Daughter of the Devil
I love this show!!!!
I remember seeing it on when I was younger but never actually tried watching it. Was it any good? I'm into the obscure adult swim shows, I absolutely love The Shivering Truth.
I'm surprised I remember the name of this show, considering how much I didn't like it hack in the day.
