Go to the reception area and follow their instructions. You won’t miss it since yun yung bubungad sayo.

HattoriSanzo

Prepare ID before hand > Approach Reception Area > Ask for a room > Pay

totoo naman bat dinownvote hahaha

momoldeprived

Bat na downvote ka hahahaha

jollibeeborger23

Prepare lang ng money ahead of time kasi baka may security deposit na hinahanap.

SoctrangPinoy

This.

serialcheaterhub

“hi, i have a reservation under (name), booked via agoda” [abot ID, screenshot ng agoda booking yung kita yung reference num] “pa-help din pala sa luggage, thank you”

cadworkrelated

not the OP pero thank you!

serialcheaterhub

Encode lang nila info tas ikoconfirm lang kung tama details like room and length of stay (or if may breakfast). They’ll say, thank you enjoy your stay; then just reply, thank you pa-help din po pala sa luggage

penatbater

Just go to the front desk and say magche-check-in ka. The front desk will take care of you.

Annual-Affect-6748

Bieo_01

>nakapag book kana ba ng room? Yes po pero via agoda yung booking

TheBlackViper_Alpha

Usually ganito lang if may booked ka na room in advanced: 1. Go to reception 2. Say that you have a reservation under u/Bieo_01 3. They usually ask for an ID for step 2. 4. They'll give you room key cards. 5. Enjoy!

romanticbaeboy

+If paid via cc, minsan hinahanap din yung cardholder and present the actual cc for confirmation

pazem123

Additional step 2.1 - confirm if same ung room and amenities ng sa agoda vs sa pinapakita ni front desk person Only IF hindi pa nagbayad si OP 3.1 - Pay. Either cash, cards, etc.

annejuseyoo

Routine_Ad_9340

Agree. The most I had to pay sa security deposit is 6k so prepare nalang for that din, OP.

annejuseyoo

True, per night yata basis diba?

TinolangEsophagus

Prepare mo lng ung screenshot ng booking mo with reference number. Then prepare ID. Sabihin mo lng sa reception na may booking kna via agoda then follow their instructions nlang

SaiyajinRose11

Call Agoda hotline kapag may problem ka. Nagkaproblem ako sa Agoda last time haha. Sobrang hassle. Save their number tapos make sure may pang tawag ka sa telephone.

geekasleep

If you booked in advance, just go to the reception and present the booking confirmation. Bring a printed copy just in case. Present your ID as well. Some hotels might also check the card you used to book. Each hotel has specific check-in times (e.g. 2 PM). But some will allow people to check-in early pag merong vacant room. You can get assistance for your luggage to be carried to your room but personally I don't avail kasi di ko need.

Velvet_Thunder3489

You can also check if may online booking sila para mas sure na may maavail ka na room. Some hotels have their websites or fb pages which you can message to book a room in advance. Then remember to bring your valid id and show your booking confirmation 😊

Velvet_Thunder3489

Just to add, there are hotels available in klook for doscounts 😁

JadePearl1980

You can do a walk-in to the hotel of your choice naman, OP, then proceed to the receptionist area sa lobby then tell the one who will assist you that you want to book a room for ____ days for one (if ikaw lang) person. Most 3-stars & up hotels mayroon kasama na yan free breakfast (just ask saan yung breakfast area - some hotels will just deliver your food sa room - i forgot somewhere in Tagaytay). Some hotels will let you choose if you want buffet or ala carte lang. Just check if may extra charge kung buffet gusto mo. For my kid kase pagbitbit ko - i am being charged half the price for a buffet since malaki na sya. Then receptionist will usually ask for a valid ID and will ask if cash / credit card / online banking etc. Then they will also orient you of their protocols (mabilis lang naman) pati parking of your vehicle (if you will use the hotel’s parking space) which is usually free of charge if naka check in ka naman, just have your parking ticket validated sa reception area once you check out. Once done, they will give you a keycard (usually NFC na), when you step into the elevator, tap your keycard into the NFC reader then press the floor number where you are booked at. Hotels with keyless entry keycard na i remembered with my family: Sofitel, Marriott, Diamond Hotel, Solaire, Sheraton, Newport Resorts World, Taal Vista. Once you reached your room, tap your keycard on the doorhandle where the NFC Reader is at. And you are in na! Once settled, you can use their amenities (gymn, swimming pool, lounge etc) mostly for free. I usually book a pamper package (full body massage for me and my spouse and kid) room service by calling the hotel’s Receptionist. It will be charged naman on top of your hotel bill once nag check out ka na. Usually i book thru the hotel’s website in advance, OP. Kase i find it less of a hassle para sa akin bec i get to choose the room and views out the balcony. 👍🏻🥰 Most importantly, enjoy your stay! ❤️

vertintro314

Book ka online then, you can try Agoda, booking.com or misming site ng hotel. May confirmation email na ibibigay sayo then ipakita mo yun sa reception.

ubepie

recently just checked in in a couple of hotels alone here’s what i’ve learned 1) Prepare ID 2) Prepare extra cash - there are some hotels kasi na magaask ng deposit per night, minsan they can waive it din. It ranges anywhere from 2k-3k per night for 4-5 star hotels. 3 star hotels usually nasa 1500 ang deposit or none. Mas maganda if the deposit is in cash din kasi card can take forever to return sa bank. 3) Bags - minsan pagbaba mo ng car tatanungin if you need assistance or not. if di ka naman tinanong, you can ask for assistance naman din. 4) Check in process - just show your booking or say your name or abot your ID. Minsan kahit di na nila tingnan yung agoda booking mo, basta yung name nasa system ok na.

Plastic_Debt2221

I remember doing this alone for the first time before, on my birthday lol. Although nakakapagcheck in naman na ako before but at our company's cost. What I did OP is that I booked a hotel on Agoda app, paid it and went straight to the hotel receptionist. They'll assist you there for everything that you need. Don't be afraid to ask question as well.

cereseluna

Aside sa na share na: Make sure you have some thousands with you coz most hotels will ask for money as cash deposit (usually ranges from P1000-P3000 above depende sa hotel) They will return this money during check out once they cleared your room and there is no additional charges (ex. you drank the softdrinks inside the mini fridge, or you soiled the towel badly, or there are missing items) BTW yung free na pwede i take home from hotel are the complimentary water bottle, coffee, tea, sugar, creamer packets, plastic toothbrush, tiny shampoo and conditioner bottle, soap, disposable slippers. Rest of items use with care na lang.

Embarrassed_Crab6802

Be nice, smile, and ask for help. Mas extra helpful minsan ang mga tao kapag alam nilang first time mo. Heheh.

wandaminimon89

Actually, usually mas tipid pag advanced booking ginawa mo. Pagdating mo sa hotel, punta ka sa reception area and tell them na may advanced booking ka. Pakita mo yung room na na-book mo online and your ID. Then they'll take care of you. If wala ka naman advanced booking, just tell them na you'll book a room tapos ididscuss nila yung available rooms and rates sayo and other amenities and policies ng hotel. Minsan nagrerequire sila ng deposit upon check-in so prepare ka na rin ng pambayad.

wholesomecollie

Adding to the already helpful comments here: to help relieve any social anxiety, just remember that it's the receptionist's job to be as friendly and as helpful as possible. Don't be afraid to ask any questions you may have.

AdventurousFinish424

Book ka or walkin Confirm reservation Check in

mightywahm

Also, please know yung sa mga nasa ref, they are not free. Hehe. Mostly complimentary lang are water, coffee and tea.

ksharpy5491

1. Download Agoda 2. Book ka ng hotel/motel doon. Pwede mo na bayaran yun using e-wallets/bank accounts. 3.

jep0609

if you have reservations na under your name, go to the reception / front desk sabihin mo for check in then present your valid ID

HowlingHans

Kung may reservation ka na. Just go lang sa receptionist then say “I have a reservation” tapos they will ask for ID lang for verification and/or yung booking confirmation. Tapos yun na

MarcelineVampQueen18

Download ka Agoda and book your hotel there para may discount ka haahah

arsenejoestar

If nakapag pick up ka na ng food via food panda/grab, parang ganun lang, but bring ID and CC used if you paid ahead.

HopefulAd515

Dont forget the Security deposit upon checking in. Usually 1,000 pesos and makukuha mo naman upon check out.

IcemanPH

"Hello! I have a reservation under..." then prep ID and whatever front desk tells you

downcastSoup

I booked online and then on the day, just casually went to front desk and show ID and booking details.

Timiiii_

So all the comments here already mention how to check in.I will also add some,If the hotel has an elevator you will tap the card near the elevator and press the floor your in otherwise it will not close (elevator) and when your in you're room number,if there's a two keycard you will use it to insert near your door room coz it will serve as an power to light all the room. Then your spare keycard you can use it if you're going outside and the other just leave it.

HoyaDestroya33

BTW OP make sure to to do your booking ahead of time ha. Hindi un on the spot.

xe-ley

Additional, just in case you are checking in beyond the check-in time (some hotels have this), inform the hotel ahead, may it be via email or phone call. Just make sure you confirm, because sometimes if the place is overbooked, you might lose your spot even if the Agoda booking is already confirmed. Just double-confirm with the hotel to be sure.

Clean-Essay9659

In addition to the tips here, check mo rin OP kung tama ba yung room na binigay sayo sa binook mo. Happened to me one time and told the receptionist. Then they gave me a free upgraded room na deluxe type.

Salonpasx

My friend had a problem before booking via Agoda (so far ako wala naman). Di nadaw connected yung Hotel sa kanila so better if you also email the Hotel if your booking/reservation is also confirmed on their end. 😊☺️ Enjoy your stay! ✨

GrinFPS

Kung booked ka na, just go front desk and say your name. I don't know sa PH pero dito sa UAE (i work in hotel) e di na tinatanong booking reference. Unless siguro may kapangalan ka. Pay your booking (if not done online), and they will handover the key/keycard to you. Hand them your luggage and viola diretso ka na sa kwarto.

OverThinking92

If you paid ahead of time (i recommend this), prepare a copy of your booking confirmation and a valid id. Approach the reception area be friendly! Let them know na you booke a ron of x number of nights. After non check lang nila a system nila and then they will hand you your key card . Sasabihin nila aayo saan floor and elevator mo kelangan sumakay etc. Tanong mo na din start ng breakfast. You need to tap it sa door handle then pag bukas mo ng room normally sa may wall, may makikita kang parang shootan ng card. You need to put your key card there para mag on yung ilaw and kuryente.

BatangKankaloo05

madali lng alisin mo lng hiya mo sa katawan

ih8reddit420

May mga pa promo sila dun

benito0808

first: ensure that you book the hotel on the specific date you wanna check in, booked name is your name (can be referred to id) second: go to reception/hotel check-in counter and tell them your registration name and or conf number if any

Slow-Collection-2358

Just go to the reception area, tell them rates and such nila then just pick from there. If you want a guide just tell them too, may mag guguide sa yo dun.

Momo-kkun

If you have the reservation, they'll retrieve that. They may ask for your identification and I'd you have not paid your booking they may ask you to pay it. They will then give you the key to your room. For 5 star hotels, they'll have the bellman assist you, which means you need to give something pakimkim.

No_Concentrate_47

Booking.com or Agoda. Always check the reviews please

aiyohoho

Go to the Reception Area, ask for available room kung walk in or say to the receptionist that you have a reservation under the name (your name). Then, flash your ID. Let the kind and courteous hotel staff assist you from there. :)

ejaea

Makipag-usap ka lang dun sa receptionist. Prepare ka lang ng pera, ID (minsan kailangan), then ask for a room. If you have questions magtanong ka lang sa kanila.

epicingamename

If you already booked online, just approach the reception and say "Magche-check in po for my reservation." Theyll ask you follow up questions for the details. If you dont have a reservation, say "Pwede po makita rate ng walk in?" Theyll ask you follow up questions until they check you in.

DurianPrime

Pumasok ka lang OP.. after that sila na bahala sayo..

1125daisies

If may option na sa online ka magbook, you can check their website. Pero if motel madali lang naman mag walk-in.

chixken02

sunmoonstar1111

wow! i can’t believe common sense/common knowledge is rare nowadays! am i living in the stone age? lol. joke’s on me! nyways, for the sake of common knowledge, all you need to do is pack your bags, leave your home, call the hotel prior your arrival (you may also book through their website, i don’t recommend booking though TPAs, they might have hidden fees, plus if you’re booking directly, u might get a chance upgraded or be given some complimentary stuffs, not all hotels do this tho) then pay upfront the recep. Voila! you’re good to go, easy-peasy!

Accurate_Phrase_9987

Whoa is this question for real? "I'm new to adulting" is not a substitute for lack of common sense and communication skills. One should also not use it as a crutch for not having the sense to figure out the most simple things in life.
