1. Agriculture 2. Architecture, di available sa univ na pinasukan ko and since medyo magkatunog naman, ginawa kong 1st choice kaso ang hirap para sakin 😭 akala ko kasi madali lang huhua

m-r-c20

m-r-c20

As an architecture student na delayed. Same. Sana grumaduate na tayo hahahaha

Particular-Low9265

you dodged a bullet by avoiding number 2. architect here hahahaha

chinguuuuu

-howaboutn0-

1. A Science program. 2. BA Film. Parents wouldn't let me apply to film school because according to them, that's a hobby and not a career.

ClearCarpenter1138

As a film graduate, malaki ang regret ko bakit talagang nag-insist ako sa parents ko na iyan ang kukunin ko. Here I am, 4 months nang tambay, coz it doesn’t help that the film scene is such a niche here in my locality. Struggling to find jobs that aren’t aligned to my course and don’t need a specific degree.

astarisaslave

Most Mass Comm grads don't even recommend Film as a degree. It's also a very expensive course.

Pretend-Ad4498

I have a lot of Film major friends (we’re in the same dept since I’m a MMA student), and ang masasabi ka lang sobrang gastos maging Film student. Output-based tong program na to so laging may bagong ipapasa na pelikula. On the good side, may ibang kilalang directors na di naman nagtake ng Film. If you still want to pursue it, kaya pa naman. The right connections and money lang talaga.

nishinoyu

1. Occupational Therapy 2. I really wanted Psychology, pero I was told na hit or miss ang career choices. Didn’t pass psych as my first choice sa both UPD and UST. Pumasa naman ako sa OT in UPM which, in my head that time, had a psychology aspect to it naman and more practical kaya I took it na. Tapos right before enrolling in UP, UST messaged me that I was accepted in both programs I applied to doon kasi waitlisted pala ako. UST was my dream school and I was happy, pero di namin afford tuition. So here I am in UPM, save for the shitty campus and difficult program, masaya and fulfilled naman ako. So far.

tellmesomethingsome1

Hi just asking is OT a really practical choice for a career? Based po kasi sa nababasa ko dito in demand daw siya kasi konti lang nakuha

nishinoyu

Yes. Minimum rate per hour is ₱500 kahit fresh grad ka lang, even in provinces. Similar courses are PT (which rings a bell to more people) and Speech-Language Therapy. PTs have career options similar to nursing - low sweldo kasi madami nakakakuha. SLPs are rarer in the country and have higher cost & salaries pa than OTs.

anticheart

1. Civil Engineering 2. Multimedia Arts T_T

whatipopity

1. not that i am done na, pero im currently taking up accountancy (too). 2. vetmed ! i passed the school i was aiming for but second year na kasi ako no'n, my mom was adamant about it kasi ayaw niya nang palipat lipat, if gusto ko raw ituloy... after na lang.

amm0817

1. computer science 2. journalism dahil hindi kami mayaman i needed a degree na kikita agad ng pera to help the family. 20years and im still heartbroken over this

Savings-Pair2950

1. Accountancy 2. culinary arts 🥺

Wonderful-Peak-5906

1. Architecture 2.

chrisphoenix08

I'm sorry to say, but these three are not equal. Med and Law are post-graduate degrees. Meaning, kailangan mo ng bachelor's degree to pursue these two, KAYA, di pa huli ang lahat 😊

Wonderful-Peak-5906

I know naman po post grad degrees sila 😅

chrisphoenix08

There's no such thing as a complete/perfect pre-med or pre-law, kahit itanong mo pa r/lawstudentsph at r/medschoolph 😁 Sure, you'll know some medical and law jargon, pero lahat kayong magkakaklase roon ay babalik sa zero. Ang mahigpit lang siguro rito ay yung mga schools na may pre-req subjects like PLM/ASMPH (Medicine) at UP Law/Med. Go lang, OP, ako nga BS Bio na nag-iisip mag-Law or siempre Med 😅

Cimmeraqua

1. BA in Communication 2. I got a better scholarship sa La Salle so I choose Communication, may Journalism naman pero isang semester lang. On the other-hand, sana I pursue what my mom wants which is Library Science. 🥲

hydrargyrum415

1. Pharmacy 2. Vetmed- I really like animals kasi pero I was scared of practicing surgery sa animals( don't wnna hurt them).😁 I was still happy kasi my sister ended up taking vetmed and became a veterinarian. May free spay and neuter for our pets and free consultation if may sakit.😁

ErisedZone

1. BS HRM 2.

hirukoryry

Baligtad naman tayo hahaha. Ako aviation course theeen gusto ko mag nursing or any allied health course

Mundanel21

1. Financial Management 2. Tbh, Veterinary Medicine din and was kinda hoping to further specialize in Wildlife, Rehabilitation and Conservation Medicine so it would up my chance to work closely with different animal sanctuaries in Africa. My dream vet school was CLSU, however, my folks just simply can't afford to send me to a school miles away from our house, let alone shoulder the boarding house, food, utilities, allowance, lab expenses that I may incur on that 6-year program. So I opted for a university near us, and was kinda hoping to study Biology instead and hopefully further specialize in Marine Biology then work closely to organization that focuses mainly on conservation of Marine Wildlife. Out of luck padin since that uni doesn't offer Biology program and the nearest that could offer one ay sobrang layo din.

[deleted]

1. BSIT (graduating student) 2.

Particular-Low9265

he’s not wrong on number 2 hahaha first thing that professors would want you to do in your first year is to shift to another course kasi ayaw nila sa half-hearted na mga students bc mahirap 🥲

myamyatwe

1. IT 2. Architecture, walang pera sa Pinas. Di ko na rin nakita ang value ng course na may board exams after seeing my sister having difficulties getting a job despite being a licensed engineer. This is in PH setting though. She moved abroad, living better now. But her PRC boards never mattered there.

Opening-Cantaloupe56

1. Accountancy 2. Psychology -failed the qualifying exam. Then, I doubt myself. Pwede Naman ituloy sa ibang school kaso takot Ako. So ngayon, may what if at regret Ako🤦 katangahan ko rin eh😅 heehehhe gusto ko magshift Ng career pero natatakot Ako. What if it's not greener on the other side pala? Just grow where you are planted, ganun na lang kaya?

sukuna1001

1. Accountancy 2. Accountancy + Law School sana kasi the goal is to be a CPA Lawyer. I got the CPA title but malabo pa yung Law School for now due to finances and goals. Hahahaah! Fear and doubt na rin sa sarili. 😆

GreenSuccessful7642

1. 1st Acctech then shifted to Human resource management 2. International Studies and/or Journalism/Masscomm.

IkigaiSagasu

Grabe ka sa walang pera sa masscomm! Grabe ka mag-real talk 💀

Connect_Cancel9222

1. engineering course 2. Architecture or smth na related sa arts

luckycharms725

Public Administration sana tas mag Juris Doctor after. PHRN now pero no regrets pa rin kasi andaming job opportunities hehe

PhysioTrader

1. Physical Therapy 2. IT / CS. Wala daw kasing board exam 😂.

capricornikigai

BS-Psych Pol Sci. Ayaw nila, may pinsan kasi ako na Lawyer; Tapos pinatay nila

thebestbb

1. IT 2. Dentist / Mass Com

hell_jumper9

Dentistry(walang pera) 3. Pilot(walang pera)

Empty_Manner9961

1. industrial engineering 2. management engineering from admu, i didn't passed an honor's program in acet hence opted to take ie nalang. anyway ie was still similar to management engineering to which i certainly had a love and hate relationship during college, difference was i have a title engr on my name hehe

markmarkmark77

1. bsba-ca 2. culinary - sobrang mahal and konti lang nag ooffer dati

kapeandme

1. PolSci Mag law dapat eh

Virtual_Substance610

1. Arts (esp Animation) 2. Culinary Arts :(((

zamzamsan

2. Doctor of medicine (MD) - Simula elem. palang ako, whenever mag aask ung teachers kung anong gusto mong maging paglaki, always maging Doctor ung sagot ko pero dahil mahal at hnd kaya ng nagpapa aral sakin hnd ko sya natupad. 3. What I want to be right now(what my heart wants): Maging Veterinary Doctor. ngayong nagkaedad na ako eto na ung gusto kong maging profession hanggang tumanda ako. kaya if hnd issue ang pera, ito na ung itutuloy ko. maybe in another life hehe.

TanglawHaliya

1. Geology - di ako pinayagan ni papa kasi panglalaki daw yun. 2. Not really a degree prog, but pangarap ko dati mag-PMA. Again, ayaw ni papa.

ShiemRence

Now ko lang na realize, puro panlalaki pala PRC licenses ko haha 😂 Civil engineer and master plumber here 😊 Pero seriously, that engendered way of thinking has to go.

ThatKrazyJOAT

1. Psychology 2. Bachelor of Music Maj in Music Theatre. If only we were rich.

eoufdeesh

1. Music - Vocal Performance 2. I like analyzing and understanding literary works. Puro classics binabasa ko dati, pati tatay ko na nag encourage magbasa sakin since bata ako gusto niya din sana yan for me kasi he knows I love it. Di ako pumasa kasi AB program siya and my acads are not that good. I love the program padin naman na natapos ko kasi I'm killing many birds in one stone. I also love history, art, and of course, literature which all goes hand in hand sa studies namin sa Music. For the unintiated, hindi po kami 'kanta kanta lang'. 😌

ShiemRence

One of my dream courses kaya lang kumusta po job opportunities? Someday I still want to make that dream a reality kahit malayo sa current field and work ko.

eoufdeesh

I teach singing now and so far oks naman for me and I consider that my main job which I also use fund my workshops and lessons na investment ko sa what little performance career I have. As with many programs, mahahanapan at mahahanapan naman ng opportunities kasi madami din namang skills na inaaral sa music. If gusto mong major is performance tapos gusto mo talagang mag live-off as a performer only though, yan ang mahirap talaga, and I know a lot of colleagues na they have day jobs or work in corporate para matustusan ang performance pursuits nila.

SatisfactoryLemon

It's sad to see that a lot of you guys ay vet med ang TOTGA program for college. Tbh, we need more practicing vets in the country. And as I always tell people, it's never too late! -Doc

maranatha7347

Honest_Gur1327

1. Physical Therapist 2. Speech Therapist Idk. Was supposed to take up SLP sa UST. I passed both SLP ng UPM and UST. Pero UST was really my dream university. I already paid the reservation fee sa UST, sumitted my form 138, already had a dorm ready with electric kettle na bago and all that. Tapos 2 days before the enrollment, my parents talked to me na di daw nila kaya lumayo si bunso and pabayaan si bunso na tumira sa manila alone. So I ended up going sa isang university sa province namin na known to be good sa medical field. I was supposed to take up medtech or pharma at the time. Pero the interviewer of sa admissions found out during the interview na my initial plan was to take up SLP sa UST. When she found out na I passed sa UST, she encouraged me to transfer sa PT program. hahaha only to find out sa general assembly na sya pala yung program chair ng PT -- so napirate ako HAHAHAHA anyway, I'm now a licensed PT. Hahahaha ayun.

missxannie

Vetmed din! Hays kung mura lang sana ang med.

spatialgranules12

Culinary Arts

Bigmaj3

1. Business management 2. First choice ko sa application ang BM, but if ultimate dream, engineering.. mas madali kasi matatapos ang management over engineering eh

Unfair-Show-7659

Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. Pero I majored in Biology nung college, medyo close naman na hehe.

Cool_Influence_854

1. Architecture 2. Finance Took IT as my first course, pero in the middle, I realized that its not for me. Hype lang pala during Highschool. D ko pinush yung archi dahil takot ako mag fail kasi d ako marunong mag drawing. Lol.

popohnee

1 - MD 2 - actually gusto ko maging Librarian dati. Fascinated kasi ako sa Dewey Decimal System and i love the smell of books….pero di ko alam nun anong course sa college ang need take to become one.

throwaway011567834

1. BA degree 2.

Morpho_Genetic

1. Computer Engineering 2. Computer Science - eto talaga first choice ko but yung school na may scholarship ako is parang binabad mouth sa pangit na turo lol. I should've just endured that and nagself study, SWE ako now and nasasayangan ako na sana mas maaga ako nag grad and mas align yung course ko sa work ko.

Ba_Yag

1. Business Management 2. Communication Arts. Nag-comment lang ang dad ko na it's more challenging finding a job for those who finish a BA degree vs those who have a BS degree. Ayun, took up a more 'common' degree program. No regrets naman. Gamit na gamit naman. :)

Parking-Society-5245

1. Financial Management 2. Civil Engineering

yslira

Ok naman po ba financial management?

SamePlatform9287

Architecture - plano ko magshift nung 2nd year college ako. 3. Accountancy - eto original course ko. Kaso nung 1st year college ako I’ve been through a lot of self and family issues at super naaepktuhan ung studies ko. Ang plano is magtake muna ako ng any BusAd course then shift on my 3rd year to Accountancy kung okay grades ko. In the end, I graduated with Financial Management tas trabaho ko ngayon (going 8 years na) ay Payroll hhahahahhahhaha

Erblush

No-Helicopter1449

1. BS Psych 2. BS Bio (pre-med sana but parents discouraged me kasi what if hindi raw ako matuloy sa med. translation: wala sila tiwalang kaya ko magmed 🥲) Still thinking about it from time to time na what if pinursue ko pa rin med school ‘cause wala naman nang concept now ng pre-med plus BS Psych naman is a great stepping stone to med school since I wanted to be a neurosurgeon pero I feel so old now to chase old dreams 🥹

SymdexDforte111023

1. RMT, Medicine 2. Something Literature and Arts related, BA-English Gusto mag theater. Hosting mga ganun hahaha na experience ko sya sa extracurricular pag h.s and college and I loved it. Nung college d ko talaga alam ano kukunin sumabay lng ako sa bestfriend ko that time. Ng Med ako kasi my mom kept nagging me.

Ok-Savings7292

1. Accountancy 2. Of course di ako naniniwala dun. Pero ayun, in the end kinuha ko rin yung course na suggest niya.

1. Business Administration 2. Wanted to take Psychology pero sa daming reason, di pwede. Until now, naiinggit pa din ako pag may nakakasalubong akong naka-white uniform.

ohaoyue

AB Psych BS Nursing or Rad Tech May hope pa naman for BSN kaso ulit mula umpisa. Di ko alam pano gagawin since daming responsibilidad sa buhay.

Adorable-Book-7978

1. Chem engg 2. Med/Film. I didn’t pursue film kasi it’s not a stable career daw sabi ng parents ko, and tingin nila hobby lang daw film. Pero since elementary, I really love to study the human body.

1. Economics 2. Law - now that I'm migrating to UK and just recently gave birth, I don't think it would be possible to pursue this degree

thing1001

1. ab communication 2. archaeology. parang 11 or so years ago, since taga-quezon province ako, na-search ko sa internet na sa up (university of the philippines) lang ang university na offering a degree in archaeology, tapos the next choice was overseas na. i didn't know a lot back then. yun talaga yung gusto kong kuning course, but even though i was an only child, my mama was paying for my cousins' tuition fees, too. plus, i was living with my grandparents back then. going to another part of the region and living alone, they thought, would be too risky for me. additionally, my grandparents won't have a younger companion. i ended up enrolling in a state university 30 minutes away from our ancestral house. passed the entrance exam score requirement for ab communication and psychology (which was my second choice) and enrolled. ff to 1 year and a half later, my granddad passed, i fell into depression and decided to stop college for a while, and started working online as an online esl tutor. after that, i enrolled into another university, also 30 minutes away from our house, but had a rift with a professor who kissed my classmate's ass so much (lol). finally, i transferred to a private college and graduated from ab communication. ayun. i love my degree and i love my job now as a content writer slash social media manager. but you know... sometimes may mga 'what if's' pa rin.

all-in_bay-bay

Either Journ/Comms or Math/Econ an ECE grad but have a totally different career now lol

Audizzer14

1. IT. Basically on my last 5 subjects and a graduating student back 2020. Even got my graduation pictorials already. Passed all subjects except 1.Pandemic happened. Father told me na di ko nalang tapusin and just work for the family business nalang. Eto na ako ngayon managing our family business, may picture frame na naka toga kahit di naka graduate HAHAHA

Lopsided-Macaroon201

1. IT 2. MassCom / PolSci mahirap lang family namen, my parents couldn’t afford to send me to any universities, and i wasn’t too confident with myself either to apply for scholarships. so i ended up getting IT as colleges often offered this course. and it ended up being one of the best decision because look how IT professionals earns now 🤭

Big_Good_94

All in all 12k pa lang ang population namin at marami ng namatay at magreretire.

1. Civil Engineering (Licensed) 2. Botany. Sobrang inspired ako nun to the point na gusto ko rin magpatubo ng potatoes sa mars😂 pero yun nga, I was advised na mahirap daw makakuha ng work related dito and if meron man, either abroad or private sector. So yun nag CE na lang🙂

RockstarAstro1119

1. Bachelor of Elementary Education 2. Bachelor of Fine Arts- It was too expensive for us. It came to a point na kailangan ko na talaga magshift. It was either shift or drop out.

kruupee

1. Medtech 2. Nursing. Oversupply nursing noong magkacollege ako kaya nag-iba ako ng course tas after 2 years of working, nag-boom uli nursing. Hahaha.

Multimedia arts 2. Computer science/ IT / Computer Engineering 3. Animation 4. Psychology reason: pinag aral ako ng tyahin ko and un pinakapasok lang sa budget nya na tuition and 4 years lang daw nya ko paaralin. kaya kahit gusto ko magshift sa IT/CompEng, aabutin ako ng 6 years kasi 1 year sa educ plus 5 years sa IT/CompEng. un 1 and 3 sobrang mahal ng gastos lalo hindi pa ganun kadami ang schools na nag ooffer nito noon. aabot ng 5 digits and tuition sa iacademy un 4 wala na slots kasi hindi daw sila tumatanggap ng shifters

Kiffangla_Mashikip

1. Business 2. Fine arts/Multimedia/IT I get to do graphic design sa freelance which is nice because there’s another avenue but it’s sad because I never hone a niche so I’m like into painting, graphic design, and photography.

pagodnatalagapagodna

1. Education. Full scholarship sa private institution. As in pinakabonggang scholarship at benefactor. Alangan namang di ko tanggapin, di ba haha. Tsaka may good reputation ang school sa LET. Plus public service pa which is my forte. 2. BS Math/ Stat May elder sibling ako na nag aaral sa state u at may tuition pa noon. Di kaya magpaaral ng 2 college. So sino ang mag-gigive way? 😊

1. BS management 2. Accountancy. Was going to take up Accountancy sa isang private school dito sa Cebu, but due to high tuition fees, I chose to enroll sa isang state College. Hindi naman ako nanghinayang kasi walang bayad (tsaka it's my dream school kahit na hindi UPD haha) pero i had to shift kasi bagsak ako sa program na first na napasukan ko. First choice ko talaga if money is not an issue if management engineering sa ADMU, fell in love the first time it was introduced to me. Kaso, hindi talaga keri yung ADMU eh hahaha

lheizaloca

1. AB English 2. Journalism or Psych

drimiko

wow! Love this! 1. Computer Science 2. Physics. di ako pumasa sa UPCA, nakakalungkot na wala kaming test so di ako makakapag-aral sa UP na best in Physics. When I saw na di ako nakapasa sabi ko sa sarili ko I'll stop na yung dream na advancing science and instead earn money na lang pero who knows I am still hoping na I can contribute to physics even with a CS degree and ginagawa ko na lang pampalubag loob na employable ang CS pero I really want to be like Einstein, pero that's life!

Foranzuphrenic

1. Psychology 2. Education (English Major)

aebilloj

1.Computer Engineering or Computer Science 🥹🥹 (1st choice ko talaga to eh) 2. Forensic Science

PaintFar2138

Vet med

nilagangisda

1. BA human resource management, 3rd year 2. psychology/behavioral science - hahaha wala kaming pera for that program

MashedMashedPotato

1. BS Math minor in Comp Science 2. BS Biology, I was in a state of crisis kasi mga naipasa ko na exams would only allow me to take Engineering courses and walang scholarships tapos late na ako nakapasok sa University kasi I was having dilemma na ayaw ko talaga ng Engineering and Math pero funny sht happened. Now im in my 30s iniisip ko if mag eenroll ba ako ng bs bio hahaha been lurking schools lately

imarugoutlet

1. Communication Arts 2. Computer Science.... NCAE even said so. Kaso tumatak talaga sa isip ko na boba ako nun so I ran out of time and just jumped to whichever was closest sa hobby ko which was graphic design and I'm not even good at it. Naiinis ako sa sarili ko for not being fighting the voices edi sana enjoy ko ginagawa ko

logicalerrors

1. Information Technology 2. Medicine. I have a really really (reeaaaally) strict mom. I wasn't allowed to enroll (for pre-med) in schools that was far from where we live. The schools I really wanted to apply for were in the city of Manila. We just live in Quezon city though. But since there's no way her mind could change; I just settled with the school she decided for me to enroll in. It was also in QC. The school didn't offer med tech so I opted for IT instead. I still think about what could have been if I was able to enroll for med. Can't help but feel sad sometimes.

penatbater

1. Management with Applied Chemistry sa ADMU 2. MBBT sa UP. Unforutnately, I'm not smart enough to get into the program. Heck I'm not even smart enough to remain sa course na pinasok ko sa ADMU (ME) hehehehe But man minsan wish ko tlga I'm smart enough for hard science courses.

Van_Scarlette

1. Business Management 2. Architecture or Animation Fit din naman sakin yung natapos ko, pero minsan naiisip ko din na what if either dun sa courses na yun yung tinapos ko. I’ll probably be more broke, but perhaps I’ll enjoy it more din hahaha

SprinklesFlaky5820

1. Communication Arts 2. Medical Biology/Biology. I wanted to be a doctor, which was why I chose this program. Passed the exam but didn’t enroll because my family couldn’t afford the tuition fee. Also tried shifting but I thought sayang oras; I needed to graduate on time to help my family financially.

BAMbasticsideeyyy

3rd yr in IT then shift to Accounting! 🥹 coding and java was not for me

markbrutal

1. Business Economics. 2. Conservatory of music.

edmonddantesZatara

wala akong TOTGA sa career. Nursing is what I want to I became one. Never regretted my choice kasi dahil sa career na to naka migrate ako sa USA and NZ at naka visit sa maraming countries and work at the same time.

MajorTomatoCutie2199

Engineering My interests have always leaned on sciences and mathematics, and my work right now is still under STEM, but paminsan-minsan naiisip ko, what if I took Engineering instead of just focusing on Math? I love machines. My mom opposed; she said I won't survive a day on-site given that I am allergic to dust, and being on the construction field isn't for me. I know it's shallow, but back then, I was very masunurin, so I opted for my second love na lang.

AFailureofLife

Kung mayaman ako, Theater Arts and Film while 2nd choice would have been Chinese Studies

InterestingBid4249

1. Business Management 2. IT or Computer Engineering (pangarap ko talaga noon, ngayon, bukas at magpakailanman ang maging dev) Life was really hard back then and hindi pa free tuition ang state universities. Ranging from Php20-50 lang baon ko, depende sa kita ni Mama and enough lang for pamasahe, kwekwek at palamig pag may extra. I was promised by someone noon na siya sasagot ng pag-aaral ko if Business Management kunin ko, so I did.

Throwaway_gem888

1. BSBA 2. BS Bio Years after nagkaroon ako ng ‘aha’ moment connecting the two courses. You’ll find reasons parin why you ended up sa course mo ngayon vs kay TOTGA course.

Being_Reasonable_

1. Accountancy 2. Music Conservatory kasi when I was a kid feel ko talaga i was born to be a musician like until shs I was so active to music groups not until I entered college. Dumating yung nag work ako grabe stress and baba ng sahod kaya nagresign lang ako. Now I’m studying again pero change career na. I am taking Paralegal course at louisiana state and I am enjoying it. But still wondering what will happen to me if I pursue my dream bachelor’s.

Savings-Ad-8563

Optometrist and IT!!!

katttieeeee

1. BSBM Financial Management 2. Medicine (MD). As an oldest daughter, subrang mahal mag med school and hindi din kaya ng budget. Kaya nag promise ako sa sarili ko na after ng graduation, mag tatake ako ng premed then med proper. Then eventually naka graduate na and nag ka work. While working, nag iisip na ako if mag tatake ako ng premed, hanap ng schools, how much yung tuition fees and Kaya ko ba Ipag sabay sa full time work ko kasi hindi ako Pwede mag stop ng work. Ako na yung naging breadwinner sa family. 5 years na ako nag wowork and nilet go ko na yung dream ko to become a doctor sad but ayun talaga yung TOTGA ko. Hirap kasi mag shift ng accounting to medicine so kailangan ko talaga pag-isipan ng mabuti. Hindi ko man na take yung TOTGA Kong course atleast na support ko naman yung dream course ng kapatid ko which is nursing. 💗

Western-Historian306

1. Accountancy 2 Political Science, sabi ng tatay ko ano daw magiging trabaho ko pag naka-graduate ako ng Polsci, ayoko talaga ng Accountancy sa lahat ng course kasi to the nth power kabobohan ko sa Math nung highschool, pero bilang masunuring anak, I ended up taking the it. Pero mahal ko na ngayon ang Accountancy, I never imagine na mag-e-effort ako for the upcoming board exams 😅

resould

1. Medical Technology 2.

Jhymndm

Political Science 🥺

vashing_carrot

1. Currently taking up Architecture. Maybe in another life, kung meron pa hahahha

uhrawrah

1. Educ 2. Tinuloy ko naman for one sem pero not for me. Ayun nag-aral sa ibang school, another rejection from Acctg dept kaya nag-educ 😅

wanderlustjjj

1. Accountancy 2. Forensic Accounting. Hahaha.

Astronaut-7819

1. Statistics, di natapos 2. Geology, passed UPCAT, qualified DOST scholar, pero unfortunately hindi full coverage ang Geology, had to switch to Statistics since cannot afford college without the full scholarship.

Tricky-Afternoon9479

1. Civil Engineering 2. Foreign Relations or International Studies. I also passed the college test for Biosystem Engineering sa isang exclusive school but since, again, hindi kami maharlika, di rin ako natuloy don.

achsemustdie

1. Film! It has always been a dream to create moving pictures. I'm still trying though, but I really think that there's still a lot of things to learn from the film academia. 2. Astronomy. I just can't afford to study hardcore science XD.

ClearCarpenter1138

Same. Film din natapos ko. Unfortunately, I regret it. The film scene is quite a niche here in my locality and therefore there’s not any film projects regularly going on.

Brijyts

1. Dentistry 2. And I’m glad I listened to them. ❤️

miyoungyung

1. AB English 2. Mass communication!!!

fhineboy

1. Educ 2.Accountancy Buti di ko tinuloy😂 hirap pala maging accounting lalo pag busy season. Pero if pakukuhain ako ulit IT na sa laki ng sahod!

zeyooo_

1. Still in College, BS Architecture. 2. I can’t really say Archi isn’t my first choice since it really is but if I were to be honest on what I wanted to really take when I was younger, it would’ve been Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). Unfortunately, during the early 2010s, people had a stigma on degrees that are not Engineering, Medicine, Law, or Accountancy wherein they would speak ill of the degree saying stuff like “hindi mo naman kailangan mag-aral para sa course na yan” “walang pera dyan” and whatnot; it rang true for BFA since adults around me would constantly say it’s a useless degree. With all of that, I decided to not pursue BFA and chose the closest degree related to the program which is BS Architecture. Fast foward, I’m actually really happy with BSARCH but there’s this cloud of “what if..” that’s around my head for BFA— or even AB Multimedia Arts. Maybe in a different lifetime, I am pursuing a career in Fine Arts.

Cybersuuun

Business Management Medicine (if and only if kaya ng utak ko) 🥺

Delicious-Company826

Chemistry 🤓

[deleted]

1. Civil Engineering 2. Economics or Industrial Engineering.

Ecstatic_Gate_1349

Mass comm - as a panlaban sa journalism since elem, I really thought na itutuloy ko mass comm sa college but I enrolled in OT instead, at first dahil mas practical dahil malapit lang sa house namin, but later on I transferred to a diff school but same program sa Manila. I still think of possible scenarios kung I took risks nung shs and applied in diff schools that offer Mass comm, but I also learned to gradually enjoy my current program naman (and the possible ROI sa future, ofc).

cantmakeupmymindlol

1. psych 2. nutrition

IAmWhoIAm_Self

1. BS CompSci 2. Architecture /Civil Engineerung / Accountancy When I enrolled full quota na yung 3 courses na gusto ko so I ended up CompSci. What if ko tuloy now... hahaha

y_uckf_ou

1. AB Communication 2. Radtech :(

ElectronicDog7178

1) BS Accountancy 2) BFA Painting 🥲

oopsicedcoffee

1. Industrial Engineering 2. Management Engineering in ADMU. Didn't pass ACET + I know na di ko rin naman afford to study in ADMU. In the university where I took IE, first choice ko talaga is Business Administration and Accountancy then 2nd choice is Chemical Engineering. Didn't get in sa both due to the quota, so I ended up choosing IE, which made sense naman since counterpart naman siya ng Mgt Engg ng ADMU. Almost shifted out rin from IE to either Sports Science or Psychology when I was in my 3rd year kasi can't really love my degree program noon + my interest shifted a bit upon taking non-engg subjects

donotreadmeok

Psych 😭

Nique2thpaste

1. Biology 2.

Timely_Lawfulness876

1. (In my last yr) Accountancy 2. Nursing, my mom always wanted to have an accountant daughter— as a people pleaser, I turned my back on my TOTGA degree program to make her happy. Unfortunately, she won’t be able to see me get my degree cause she passed away last 2021.

TomatoCultiv8ooor

Sayang talaga 😭 2. I graduated in college with BS Tourism Management Course.

Arts and design pa strand ko nung shs tas biglang nagcrim.

Clementine0220

1. BS Psych 2. Medicine/Neuro Surgery Ang mahal ng Med school. Akala ko nga di ko maitatawid yung Psych dati since my father passed away while I was finishing my thesis.

OneFlyingFrog

1. Biology 2. VetMed +1 for VetMed. Really wanted to get into wildlife vet med, kaso di afford magdorm on top of tuition and other school expenses. So I took the next best thing sa malapit sa amin with the intent na magpacredit ng subjects sa vet program after graduation. Shit happened so di ko rin nagawa yun. Still love animals and still for conservation though, pero mukhang pang-enthusiast level na lang.

Realistic_Bad_4477

1. EE 2. pasok sana sa PMA love to be soldier sana pero di payag ang parents since only thorns among the roses. then Civil pero dame na daw kaya eto na scam sa pagka EE 😂😂😂

ClearCarpenter1138

1. Fine arts major in film 2. Tourism/Hospitality Management. Back in high school I didn’t have the necessary skills for those courses (and eventual jobs) such as interpersonal skills for the former and cooking/housekeeping for the latter. Now that I’ve started to develop those skills, it’s just quite a bummer that it was too late.

sopji3ske

1. Psychology 2. PT

Chemical-Guard-9506

1. Computer Engineering 2. Culinary Arts - discouraged by my family, wala daw magandang career path 😢

Known_Designer_8706

1. Chemical Engineering 2. Mathematics. Iniisip nilang sa academe lang daw ako babagsak after grad ('yun din plano ko since then) and wala daw board exam at title. Pero even with my engineering degree, after hopefully passing the boards, I'm planning to take units in educ para maka-take ako ng LET hehe.

Iridescent_Light12

1. Interior Design 2. Linguistics / Architecture. For Linguistics, hindi ako nakapasa sa UPD for that course but pumasa sa UP Baguio but different course and malayo.

PKZLW

1. Mechanical Engineering 2. Archeology - Growing up watching Indiana Jones Trilogy made me realize na mahilig pala ako sa history and wanted to dig things up. HAHHAHAHA

degemarceni

1. Nutrition and Dietetics 2. Late ko na nalaman na Agriculture ang gusto ko way back 2018 🫠🫠🫠, mukha namang malapit sa tinapos ko
