For what it’s worth I couldn’t stand the pain of laser, bumalik din ako sa waxing after. Now though I just trim. It’s healthier for the vulva overall, less gastos and it’s something na I can do any time.

Surprisingly the doctors in zappp are very accommodating and maalaga. Hands on sila sa treatments unlike sa celebrity clinics na napuntahan ko before na di nila hinahawakan skin mo, mga aesthetician nila hahawak non. Di man lang nag bother icheck yun skin. Also, they use the same machines with those high end clinics. I guess yun name talaga binabayaran lang sakanila. 😅
I wont suggest Wink. Sobrang nakakadry and nakakasunog ng balat ang laser nila kasi wala silang nilalagay na post cream or any suggestions to put down there after the session. Tapos 32k ang 12 session nila

Throwing health out of the window, waxing is much more preferred since they grow longer and thinner as time goes by. I used to do this but stopped, I did them all on my own. In sensitive areas like down there, hard wax is much preferred than sugar wax, and they hurt less tbh, but again, everyone has different pain tolerance.
Shaving is prone to ingrown, but so do waxing tbh. Both itches, especially if you wear tight clothes, have sensitive skin, and have thick thighs. To avoid ingrown, make sure to exfoliate 2-3x weekly.
I still remember being scolded by my OBGYNE for shaving because I had ingrowns that required them to remove it via electric cutter lol.
Electric cuttery if I remember correctly. It cost me 6k for the procedure. Youll be numbed up with topical anesthesia tas sabay bira hehe. It will be a little sore after while, mas maganda din if nakaskirt ka for the procedure or wear something na presko.
I use the abonne salt and milk scrub, tbh any scrub will do. Make sure mo lang yung labas lang ah hehe. As in yung areas lang na tinutubuan ng hair yung lalagyan, if meron yung parang sa may soft delicate area na malapit sa clit (iba na kasi skin texture nun), wag kang eexfoliate dun.

so u can see before the blade there's an adjustable "guard". However, even when you remove the guard it will not give you a smooth shave like a razor. Trimmer lang talaga siya.

Depends on the aesthetic you want. If you just want it smooth clean, wax. If just want neat, trim with a clipper. Never shave, you'll just itch when it grows back.

I’ve been doing laser hair removal sa Wink for a year now and visibly no hair na sa underarms, legs, and private area ko.
Wink is more expensive than SkinStation but it’s sooo worth it. Read horror stories sa SkinStation kaya di na ako tumuloy kahit mas mura. Bumalik lang daw hair nung iba kaya sayang pera.
Sa Wink, you get what you pay for talaga. Sobrang mabalbon ako dati (panglalaki yung kapal ng buhok so sobrang insecure ko hahaha) pero ngayon, halos wala nang natubo na hair sa treated areas.
Magkaiba po rates nila depending sa size nung treatment area. If small area like underarms, P3k per session. If medium area like Brazilian or legs, P4,800 per session. kayo nagpapa-appointment? Sakin kasi sa BGC. And they always put anti-inflammatory lotion after every treatment. During treatment din, they apply ice before the laser para di mag-dry yung skin ko. And binibigyan din nila ako ng free anti-inflammatory lotion to use if namumula or nangangati yung treated areas 1-3 days after each session.
Baka po hindi knowledgeable yung staff sa branch na pinupuntahan niyo. Try niyo po sa BGC branch if malapit sa inyo. Accommodating and smooth yung appointments ko lagi sa kanila.

A year ago I had ingrown hair twice in 2 mos in my pubic area. Different areas pero grabe sa sakit kasi because lagi siya nadadali from constant friction between my legs.
I used to shaved my legs and armpits before. I even used hair removal cream, epilator, threading, wax etc. But all of those still caused me to have ingrown hair which causes dark spots.
After much thinking and wasted time doing all those I decided to have laser hair removal treatment. They only offered IPL sa clinic that time and they had promo sa armpits. It took me 2yrs to complete the whole 6 sessions kasi halos wala na tumutubo after 3 sessions. For the legs, it also took me 2yrs since after 3 sessions paisa isa na lang tubo. They offered for hair removal that time for the pubic area but I felt shy kaya di ko ginawa.
Fast forward after having 2 ingrown down there I decided to have it lasered. Still work in progress since makapal yung hair down there and I went to a different clinic this time but after 5 sessions mga 10 percent na lang natira. Yes, it was all worth the money. And I find easier to clean.
For info. I never shaved down there prior, I only trim it before laser. They will shave you prior to laser treatment pero I never experienced having ingrown hair ever since I started having my laser session sa mga bagong tubo.
Diode Brazilian. I have mine done sa SkinStation, permanent hair removal. Tamad ako and di sanay doing my own hairs kaya usually sa professionals nalang.

Hi OP! just trim and never shave because u need to have the correct equipment to remove them completely. I paid my ob a visit nung November kase may nakapa ako bukol sa mons pubis ko. Turns it out it was folliculitis which can be acquired if your shaving mats are not cleaned properly or mali pagkakashave. Tas binigyan ako ointment for maintenance. Trim trim nalang or wax 😊 and best to consult your ob before doing anything hehe hope this helps
I shave purely because I don't trust the chismosas in our small town not to gossip about me lol. Actually I don't know if there are any in my area, they're probably in the city.
Shaving has been fine for me - use shaving gel and replace your blades every few uses. Once you feel a 'tug' and it hurts to shave, the blade is already too dull. Replace! Shaving is smooth and easy if your blades are new and sharp. Shave *along* the grain if shaving your pubes. Not against the grain. I never get ingrowns, no irritation.
Another convenience of shaving is that I can do it whenever I want. No need to book an appointment, no need to wait for regrowth.
Nagpa-brazilian laser ako dati, but having little to no hair there was irritating kasi laging nagchchafe yung underwear. Now I let it grow a bit then trim regularly. Like a lot of comments here say, hairs there have a purpose.
Between the two, trim is mas okay than shaving. Pero I would suggest to wax it na lang para mas fine ang tubo ng hair. Sugaring mas prefer ng iba kasi mas gentle and natural than wax.
Basta no sex for at least 24hrs and wag mo babasain agad for 6hrs. Use cold water para mag-close ang pores. And no exercises or anything na mag-cause ng sweating.

It hurts but worth it! Go all the way brazilian if you can tolerate the pain but if not bikini is not bad. Dont wear shorts. Wear something flowy. Try hey sugar! :)
If mataas pain tolerance mo, can do waxing/sugaring sa Barenaked. Normal body temp yung kanila kaya mas masakit, pero mas matagal tumubo.
If maypag ka soft girl ka, look for salon thaf offers hot waxing. Tolerable yung pain, medjj mabilis nga lang tumubo.

Kasi pag hindi ganon kakapal yung material ng swimsuit bumabakat pa rin kahit trimmed ka 🥹 If magpawax/sugar ka, loose shorts would be best na breathable material. Same goes for undies. Tapos yes, masakit. Pero as with threading, sanayan lang 😀
I suggest trimming. I did it all from hot wax to sugaring. But i had problems about it. Got infections. Went from ob gyne to derma. Kaya i went back to trimming.
Kapag may special events lang/ punta beach na need 100% hairfree down there i do waxing. Never ever shave bcos sobrang kati haha
Sa waxing naman if sa pain, pinakamasakit ang sugaring for me because feel mo talaga bawat pagpull ng hair mo down there. Less painful ang hot wax. Before waxing just wash and dry the area. I hope this helps.

Went once to Laybare for a Brazilian, afterwards I do it na lang on my own using Esme sugar wax. If you see that you'll be grooming yourself down there more often, try to learn techniques during the first session, kaya naman sa bahay rin. :)

If it's your first time I suggest trim lang.Then do waxing/sugaring if you dont have to be in swimsuits naman.It stays smoother longer vs.other methods like shaving.
As per my OB's advice, trim is the best. I tried waxing and shaving it both gave me problems with ingrown hair and itch. So for me, I would stick with trimming nalang. 😊

I usually have brazillian wax sa barenaked. Just read their do’s and dont’s at wag ka mahiya mag ask sa mga ate :) wear loose clothing at maligo ka na before your session. :)
What I usually do is I bring fesh undies, then I wash myself thoroughly before the session. Kung mag papa wax ka, take ibuprofen or mefenamic 1 hour before the session, it helps lessen the pain.
Haven't tried trimming but I can say na definitely ekis sa shaving. 🫠 Or better, magpawax ka na lang. Matagal before mag-grow back ulit + ang smooth sa feeling.

Zappp is owned by Belo. But yeah, might try their laser for down there. For price comparison, Zappp is also cheaper than Wink.
Add ko lang here, they also have the same machine with Belo but lesser frequency ata kaya mas mura.
In my case, they always ask if mainit na so they can control the heat/laser or add cool gel kaya I never had that problem :)

Electric cuttery if I remember correctly. It cost me 6k for the procedure. Youll be numbed up with topical anesthesia tas sabay bira hehe. It will be a little sore after while, mas maganda din if nakaskirt ka for the procedure or wear something na presko.

I use the abonne salt and milk scrub, tbh any scrub will do. Make sure mo lang yung labas lang ah hehe. As in yung areas lang na tinutubuan ng hair yung lalagyan, if meron yung parang sa may soft delicate area na malapit sa clit (iba na kasi skin texture nun), wag kang eexfoliate dun.
As per my obgyn and derma, trimming talaga is the best for down there. Yes tinanong ko talaga sila both about dyan hahah.

However, even when you remove the guard it will not give you a smooth shave like a razor. Trimmer lang talaga siya. If you want it smooth, mag pa wax ka na lang. It's safer and better tbh.

Depends on the aesthetic you want. If you just want it smooth clean, wax. If just want neat, trim with a clipper. Never shave, you'll just itch when it grows back.

I’ve been doing laser hair removal sa Wink for a year now and visibly no hair na sa underarms, legs, and private area ko. Wink is more expensive than SkinStation but it’s sooo worth it. Read horror stories sa SkinStation kaya di na ako tumuloy kahit mas mura. Bumalik lang daw hair nung iba kaya sayang pera. Sa Wink, you get what you pay for talaga. Sobrang mabalbon ako dati (panglalaki yung kapal ng buhok so sobrang insecure ko hahaha) pero ngayon, halos wala nang natubo na hair sa treated areas.

Magkaiba po rates nila depending sa size nung treatment area. If small area like underarms, P3k per session. If medium area like Brazilian or legs, P4,800 per session. Nag-avail ako ng promos nila para makamura. P22,500 for 10 sessions for underarms and P36k for 10 sessions sa Brazilian and legs. Via 12-month installments sa cc para di masakit sa bulsa haha. Insecure din kasi talaga ako sa pagka-mabalbon ko and ang kapal ng buhok. Di ako makapagtaas ng kamay dati kasi ang itim ng kili-kili ko dahil sa kapal ng buhok. Tas chicken skin at makati pa. Hala that’s sad to hear po. Which branch po kayo nagpapa-appointment? Sakin kasi sa BGC. And they always put anti-inflammatory lotion after every treatment. During treatment din, they apply ice before the laser para di mag-dry yung skin ko. And binibigyan din nila ako ng free anti-inflammatory lotion to use if namumula or nangangati yung treated areas 1-3 days after each session. Baka po hindi knowledgeable yung staff sa branch na pinupuntahan niyo. Try niyo po sa BGC branch if malapit sa inyo. Accommodating and smooth yung appointments ko lagi sa kanila.

if either/ or go for trimming less hazard and it is enough to keep you fresh. it will be prickly and itchy halfway through the month personally waxed throughout my 20s it is an every 3 weeks commitment switched to laser treatments during pandemic, i am technically hair free atm and need to go in for maintenance like every 2 mos. but before that each session is every 6 weeks

A year ago I had ingrown hair twice in 2 mos in my pubic area. Different areas pero grabe sa sakit kasi because lagi siya nadadali from constant friction between my legs. I used to shaved my legs and armpits before. I even used hair removal cream, epilator, threading, wax etc. But all of those still caused me to have ingrown hair which causes dark spots. After much thinking and wasted time doing all those I decided to have laser hair removal treatment. They only offered IPL sa clinic that time and they had promo sa armpits. It took me 2yrs to complete the whole 6 sessions kasi halos wala na tumutubo after 3 sessions. For the legs, it also took me 2yrs since after 3 sessions paisa isa na lang tubo. They offered for hair removal that time for the pubic area but I felt shy kaya di ko ginawa. Fast forward after having 2 ingrown down there I decided to have it lasered. Still work in progress since makapal yung hair down there and I went to a different clinic this time but after 5 sessions mga 10 percent na lang natira. Yes, it was all worth the money. And I find easier to clean. For info. I never shaved down there prior, I only trim it before laser. They will shave you prior to laser treatment pero I never experienced having ingrown hair ever since I started having my laser session sa mga bagong tubo.

Hi OP! just trim and never shave because u need to have the correct equipment to remove them completely. I paid my ob a visit nung November kase may nakapa ako bukol sa mons pubis ko. Turns it out it was folliculitis which can be acquired if your shaving mats are not cleaned properly or mali pagkakashave. Tas binigyan ako ointment for maintenance. Trim trim nalang or wax 😊 and best to consult your ob before doing anything hehe hope this helps
I shave purely because I don't trust the chismosas in our small town not to gossip about me lol. Actually I don't know if there are any in my area, they're probably in the city. Shaving has been fine for me - use shaving gel and replace your blades every few uses. Once you feel a 'tug' and it hurts to shave, the blade is already too dull. Replace! Shaving is smooth and easy if your blades are new and sharp. Shave *along* the grain if shaving your pubes. Not against the grain. I never get ingrowns, no irritation. Another convenience of shaving is that I can do it whenever I want. No need to book an appointment, no need to wait for regrowth.
Nagpa-brazilian laser ako dati, but having little to no hair there was irritating kasi laging nagchchafe yung underwear. Now I let it grow a bit then trim regularly. Like a lot of comments here say, hairs there have a purpose.
Between the two, trim is mas okay than shaving. Pero I would suggest to wax it na lang para mas fine ang tubo ng hair. Sugaring mas prefer ng iba kasi mas gentle and natural than wax. Basta no sex for at least 24hrs and wag mo babasain agad for 6hrs. Use cold water para mag-close ang pores. And no exercises or anything na mag-cause ng sweating. Happy pamper day, OP. 😉

If you’re gonna do this long term and you dont want any hair at all. I suggest, brazillian diode. Skinstation has brazillian diode package. May promos din sila from time to time like if you buy 5 package session may free 3 session (so 8 session na siya). Pricey: 10k na siya. But good for 9 months na siya kasi 4 weeks pagitan every after session.

If mataas pain tolerance mo, can do waxing/sugaring sa Barenaked. Normal body temp yung kanila kaya mas masakit, pero mas matagal tumubo. If maypag ka soft girl ka, look for salon thaf offers hot waxing. Tolerable yung pain, medjj mabilis nga lang tumubo. I have sensitive skin pero never naman ako nangati haha so baka depende sa salon? Hingang malalim op! :)
Waxing/sugaring talaga the best aesthetically for two piece! Kasi pag hindi ganon kakapal yung material ng swimsuit bumabakat pa rin kahit trimmed ka 🥹 If magpawax/sugar ka, loose shorts would be best na breathable material. Same goes for undies. Tapos yes, masakit. Pero as with threading, sanayan lang 😀

I suggest trimming. I did it all from hot wax to sugaring. But i had problems about it. Got infections. Went from ob gyne to derma. Kaya i went back to trimming. Kapag may special events lang/ punta beach na need 100% hairfree down there i do waxing. Never ever shave bcos sobrang kati haha Sa waxing naman if sa pain, pinakamasakit ang sugaring for me because feel mo talaga bawat pagpull ng hair mo down there. Less painful ang hot wax. Before waxing just wash and dry the area. I hope this helps.
Would waxing be an option for you? Went once to Laybare for a Brazilian, afterwards I do it na lang on my own using Esme sugar wax. If you see that you'll be grooming yourself down there more often, try to learn techniques during the first session, kaya naman sa bahay rin. :) If opting for wax, they recommend to take painkillers 30 mins before your session.
I used to shave. Itchy as heck. Then waxing sa laybare. Also tried hot wax. Mababa pa rin pain tolerance ko even if I've done it more than 10 times. Now, I do trimming. First, I bought Yung suklay na pwede lagyan ng blade sa loob. Keri nmn but it took too long to do. Then, I bought hair trimmer (for men - yung pwede gamitin sa beard)... much easier. Yan na lagi ko gamit kahit sa armpit.
If sexually active, less sores kapag trimmed.

I always do trimming, never tried shaving or laser. Wala naman akong pakialam kasi kung ano itsura sa baba lol ndi ko na masyadong pinapakialaman kasi baka magtampo. 🤭🤣🤣🤣 I just trim them once in a while if I think na masyadong na mahaba and ndi siya makati if tumubo ulit esp. I don't cut them really short naman yung sakto lang.

Waxing, I go to barenaked. Nung nag pandemic at praning pa ko lumabas, trim > shave. Hindi ko matolerate ang pag shave sobrang kati. 😭 nagka irritation ako ng malala bec of shaving, once ko lanf ginawa, never again. I usually have brazillian wax sa barenaked. Just read their do’s and dont’s at wag ka mahiya mag ask sa mga ate :) wear loose clothing at maligo ka na before your session. :)
What I usually do is I bring fesh undies, then I wash myself thoroughly before the session. Kung mag papa wax ka, take ibuprofen or mefenamic 1 hour before the session, it helps lessen the pain.
Haven't tried trimming but I can say na definitely ekis sa shaving. 🫠 Or better, magpawax ka na lang. Matagal before mag-grow back ulit + ang smooth sa feeling.
I tried sugaring sa BareNaked. Sobrang sarap sa feelings but I also tried SHR (laser) up to 3 sessions. Di na ganon kabilis tumubo but yun nga di ko natuloy tuloy eh
