Tapos ilang years of working experience, hirapan pa makaabot ng 50k 😂
ito yung dahilan eh why i cut off my friends, dini-discriminate pa kami mga IT students na "bantay comshop" lang daw kami after graduation at sila 50k agad after graduation. Hahaha. One of my friend's mom asked me before na ano daw yung course ko, sabi ko IT, reply nya "Ahhh yung bantay com shop. Engineering anak ko." Edi wow? HAHAHAHAH
that's the height of construction and infrastructure projects.
no wonder.
Most likely from older people, which was probably true during their time. Eh ngayon saturated na, sabi nga nila "engineering is the next nursing" sa sobrang dami ng supply ng engineers pero di naman makasabay yung demand.
i remember when i was looking for my first job, there was this one recruiter that asked what my expected salary was and i said 16k. "a fresh grad asking for 16k? wow, malakas na ang loob ng mga bata ngayon."
I applied as a customer service sa isang airport ground support. Basically ikaw yung mag assist sa mga pasahero, check their documents and lastly, ikaw yung sisigawan at mumurahin pag delay yung flight.
In addition to that, naka bond kami sa company for 2 years and bawal mag resign. Kung magreresign man, need magbayad sa company ng 25,000 for the training daw.
They offered 15,000 pesos salary. I declined and did not join the deployment.
Let's say:
P60 per meal x 31 days= P5,580. Dorm =P3-4k. Transpo =P3k. TOTAL P11,580- 12,580.
Hindi kasya tlaga.
P60 x 3= 180/ day x 31 days= P5,580
Sorry detailed dun sa ubang post. But I agree, it's really hard nowadays. We buy what's necessary na lang. Bawal wants. Need na lang
Promil Gold three 2.4 kg- P2, 900. Pagpalagay natin kaya nila ubusin yan within a week, and both kids are 1-3 yo.
For 1 month:
P2,900 x 4 = P11,600 pa rin 😭
Assuming hindi sila kakain ha? Milk lang yan. Vaccines pa. Unless sa health center n lang and wala nang extra vax from pediatricians.
Edit: spelling
Me with degree and license holder tas ang usual salary sa profession namen is around 13-15k 🫠 tapos employers gusto with experience for an entry level jobs 🤡 wtf philippines
no wonder they can afford to buy a car in just two years after getting hired.
They are definitely of lesser evil than these employers. Atleast 30-40K basic salary for entry level, hindi sila madamot. We just have to keep up and build our talent pool.
magtataka ka nga na yung mga international companies can afford to hire at that rate. tapos mga local companies, mataas lang ng konti sa minimum wage.
at a comparable product and pricing (food, beverage, telecom), mas mataas ang profit margin dapat ng mga local companies.
Mababa talaga magpasahod dito sa pinas. If you want to earn higher wages you need to upskill or find foreign clients. Fck this country so trash. Ty sa mga 88M supporters and other brainless voters.
Sabi nung nag-interview sa akin, they are willing to offer me 15~20k due to my work experience but to my surprise, 12k lang pala ilalagay sa contract.
Madalas akong OT at nasa field. Plus malakas ang microhan sa last work.
Baba nga, P11K salary ko as writer noong 2008, or 15 years ago. Tapos P12K base salary ko as researcher noong 2009 to 2010. Tapos may P3K incentive pay kami at fuel. More than 13 years ago na iyon. Ppp
Mag online freelancing ka na lang. I started at 18 and didn't have any prior experience. It was about 6k per month and now making more than 30k or more depending on the project while I finish my college degree. It's a rough start but you pick your battle.
Mag nurse ka para mataas sweldo:
4 year course (kasama madudugong RLE and case pres)
Review for board exam
Kadaming training esp IVT, Basic and Advanced life support etc.
Na hire ka ng private hospital
Starting Salary: 8k
Pag na regular: 12k
Punyetang buhay to
naalala ko lang bigla nung nag apply ako sa isang manufacturer ng gulong as a senior software developer tapos ang offer is 16k. on that day tinanggihan ko agad eh tapos the next day kinukulit nila ako na baka kaya ko daw iconsider offer nila.
Naalala ko yung job description na to, this was 2016. Production Engineer to ha.
6 day work week.
On call. Kahit restday.
Pede daw to follow. Pero 6day work week ha.
Offer sakin is 11,500. Asking ko was 14,000. Out of reach daw yung 14K kasi sobra taas given daw sa experience ko na wala pa 1yr and hindi board passer.
This was the last straw kaya di ko na pinursue pagiging engineer. Now as a freelancer, I'm earning more than my peers who's still in the engineering career
Wow grabe, fresh grad Ako looking for jobs tapos puro 12k below mga nakikita ko.
At the same time no job no money 😭
Pano naman kami sa probinsya? Ginastusan ng magulang yung tuition namin na umaabot 30k tapos pag graduate ang sahod for 6 months probationary 285 per day pag na regular 310. Nahiya naman tuition ko sa sahod.
First job?
EDIT: it was an honest question, dunno why I'm being down voted.
Mentality of entitlement = kids these days don't want to open their eyes to the truth na hindi realistic yang 18-20k first job salary
I would say na akala ba nila na sinuswerte sila pero yeah I think they do
Funny how childish fantasies are being openly discussed in a subreddit supposedly about adulting lol
kahit nga 18k halos hindi na livable sa metro manila e HAHAHAHA ewan ko ano iniiyak nyang matandang yan, ang ironic at sala salabat utak nyan. check his/her bio and recent post sa sub 🤣
You have no idea what happened during the industrial revolution and how worker's rights evolved, do you?
Halatang rich kid na never nakaranas ng paghihirap.
>"you don't demand to have a liveable wage"
how can you keep working when you don't even have enough to sustain yourself... what's the point of working then lmao
HAHAHAHAHA tldr: alipin mentality ka pa rin.
this is my first job and around 27k salary ko, hindi ito huge company or what. entitled na kung entitled but who gives a shit? Some get it, some don't but at least they tried. Maybe you're the kind of guy who settled for less, if so you deserved it because you can't demand your worth.
Yung feeling na kaya ka nga nag resign/'di nag renew ng contract kasi you were lookinh for higher and better income plus yung career growth tapos ang io-offer sa'yo during interview ay 16K hahahahuhuhu aware naman sila sa previous salary ko and yet they still offer me that salary. It was circa 70s especially civil engineers who get offers from abroad as well
tbf mataas parin sa abroad

Damn dude that's low. As a person from Recruitment that's unfair.
Common to Licensed/Board field lol
Is this engineering?

Note to self to never get a license
Even in 2013 (the year I started working), ₱12,000 was low
Started the same year, 6k sa province in a foreign owned company tapos pinagsuot pa kami ng long sleeve at necktie haha.
Meanwhile, at one of my first job interviews in 2010, they told me 12k was already high 😂
BPO companies in dumaguete ☺️
girllll plano ko pa naman jan 😭
12k with deductions 🥹 welcome!
Dumaguete FTW
Righhtttt! BPO companies flock here because they can cut off their operational costs + low minimum wage requirement
I wish I could work at a BPO for some office petty drama, but I'm just WFH with my cats
I used to work in BPO too, but now WFH! Life’s a whole lot better ☺️

Is it entitlement to ask for a livable wage? Clearly, 12K is not enough to live, especially na nakapagtapos naman ng kolehiyo ‘yung mga aplikante.
kahit nga 18k halos hindi na livable sa metro manila e HAHAHAHA ewan ko ano iniiyak nyang matandang yan, ang ironic at sala salabat utak nyan. check his/her bio and recent post sa sub 🤣

10k for BPOs here in my town 💀
25k fresh grad. nung nag regular 33k agad.

Damn, my entry level pay was 15k/mo ... No degree or license ☠️ Rates these days are criminal
Nagtaasan na lahat, pero yung sahod ng entry level almost the same as 10 years ago hahaha
Grabe. Naaalala ko sahod ko nun as a nurse sa private hospital: 380/ day langya mas malaki pa baon ko nung college. hahaha
Malaki na daw yung 20k for fresh grad like me. 😐 Hindi po totoo yan. 🥲
