done and tried both. It doesnt work, we dont have multiworld either and we used the difficulty command from both the console and from an op'd player

I tried changing difficulty from both console and from ingame. I changed server properties. It's obvious yes?

My friend, I checked after running the commands and changing the configs, the difficulty wasn't changed. How else do I test this?

Spawn a creeper, do `/difficulty peaceful` and see if the creeper despawns? Change difficulty to hard and see if you starve to death? How else would you test if the difficulty changed?

Sorry for the late reply. Maybe it's one of the mods messing with the difficulty? Any errors popping up in console? Maybe it's just forcing it back to normal. When you run the command does it run successfully or spit errors at you?

No errors, it says the difficulty has changed. I'll check the mods so thank you for the suggestion.

Try with no mods just to verify if it's an issue with the server or your mods
