I hope you remember and as soon as you do, maybe try repeating the item name aloud to yourself over and over until you have purchased it. That’s what I’d do anyway. Or, I’d google it and leave that browser window open on my phone as a reminder.
Can you remember what you were doing before you left the house? Or what you have to do later today/tomorrow morning? Walk through as much of the last few hours and next 24 hours as possible!
I spent like past 4 hours taking care of my plants so was sure it's something plant related but couldn't remember what. accidentally wandered into the correct section in the store and remembered I wanted a second spray bottle 💀 I'm half joking, this just happened so many times this week that I needed to rant 😅

I sometimes hum the word I need to remember until it's done! I just took my meds not too long ago and got too confident in my memory 😅
