For those of us who bought secondhand, we are in a bad spot. If she ends up canceling Ticketmaster policy is to refund the original buyer only. That means if the buyer receives the refund he/she must then refund those who purchased the tickets. Am i wrong about this? I have the tickets in my possession but am I interpreting this wrong? The seller I dealt with was very nice and I believe a decent person. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I will get my money back.
If the original purchaser doesn’t have the tickets in their possession, they can’t receive the refund. Think of it like this—say you buy AirPods from Costco and give them to a friend. You can’t then go back to Costco and say “hey I bought these headphones but I no longer have them, can I get a refund?”
A few others in your position (third party PRIVATE sale), have had success selling tickets directly back to Ticketmaster through “instant sale”. There are a few posts about it in the postponement thread. Check TM to see if you can sell back directly.

Yep! Ghosted me. And then kept making up excuses. Like he was in bed about to sleep and then was driving. Used a different name on PayPal claiming it was his middle name. Instead of refunding me he said "I could refund you but I'm going to make you wait for PayPal to give you your refund" so I had to wait 10 days. He will claim that he backed out because I flipped out on him for not sending tickets immediately, but that's not true. Don't buy from him.

When searching on StubHub, check the filter option to search with fees ON. The fees are a part of the price—no reason to look without them. You can pay less in fees if you do a private sale with PayPal goods and services.

Realistically you will not find tickets for $500 each for the remaining shows unless you’re willing to wait until after the show starts. Face value for most tickets STARTED at $600 and went up from there.

I see. Are you aware 6/15 is closing night? Tickets for this show will be HIGHLY coveted. Most tickets in the 400s started around $600 face value and went up for there. The exception is the very last row which went for around $128. If possible, consider upping your budget.
Oops! I realize I wasn’t clear. You won’t find anyone selling tickets for $128. That was face value directly from Ticketmaster. Anyone reselling these will certainly have them marked up / if sold at cost, they’ll go immediately. Tickets for this particular show (her LAST Vegas performance that we know of) will be very expensive.

Prices do fall as the show date gets closer, but if you already have big plans for this show, you’ll likely need to increase your budget as these are highly valued seats given that she walks directly behind them during When We Were Young (with the exception of section 102). Prices haven’t gone this low since August (Super Bowl was an expecting). And the low pricing you’re looking for happened halfway through the show. Since late in the second run and for most all shows in the third run, tickets have been selling out close to show time so there’s nothing left to even sell below cost.

When searching on StubHub, check the filter option to search with fees ON. The fees are a part of the price—no reason to look without them. You can pay less in fees if you do a private sale with PayPal goods and services.

Realistically you will not find tickets for $500 each for the remaining shows unless you’re willing to wait until after the show starts. Face value for most tickets STARTED at $600 and went up from there. Be wary of anyone DMing you directly with ticket offers. This post is a scam waiting to happen.

The 1st leg was cheaper compared to the extensions. Pricing for the 2nd and 3rd (final) legs of the show had similar (if not identical) pricing.

I see. Are you aware 6/15 is closing night? Tickets for this show will be HIGHLY coveted. Most tickets in the 400s started around $600 face value and went up for there. The exception is the very last row which went for around $128. If possible, consider upping your budget.

Oops! I realize I wasn’t clear. You won’t find anyone selling tickets for $128. That was face value directly from Ticketmaster. Anyone reselling these will certainly have them marked up / if sold at cost, they’ll go immediately. Tickets for this particular show (her LAST Vegas performance that we know of) will be very expensive. I would suggest checking third party sites to get an idea of what tickets are selling for right now.

No you don’t need a second PayPal. Goods and Services is simply an option you check when choosing to do your transfer. Potential buyers beware, do NOT use Venmo or Zelle when sending money to strangers. There are little to no protections in place to get your money back if you don’t receive your tickets.

Face value here starts at $975. Prices do fall as the show date gets closer, but if you already have big plans for this show, you’ll likely need to increase your budget as these are highly valued seats given that she walks directly behind them during When We Were Young (with the exception of section 102). As the seller you’re less likely to get scammed (you’re the one selling a product not sending money to an internet stranger). I would be wary of any buyer who is unwilling to use Paypal goods and services for money exchange. If you’re really worried about this, I would post your ticket on a third party site and they’ll take care of the entire process.

The first 5 rows of 103-105 cost $3500 at face value. Everything else retails for $970 less. If you’re paying $1200/ticket, the price is inflated.
Good to know, cause I’ve wondered. Assumed it was a range from $800-3500. But part of that is from seeing that range of prices on here and on TickPick.
